Every angle on drone and AAM policy, in one program
The Drone and AAM Policy Symposium brings together the full range of where drone and advanced air mobility policy actually stands, not one narrow slice of it.
BVLOS and Part 108.
With the rule now at OIRA for final review, sessions will examine what comes next for BVLOS implementation, including the standards, regulatory requirements, and operational considerations that will shape the path forward, with FAA participating in the conversation.
Airspace integration and infrastructure.
Sessions will explore progress through the eIPP program, vertiport siting and infrastructure readiness, and the FAA guidance shaping the integration of advanced operations into the airspace system.
Counter-UAS and security.
Sessions will address the evolving security landscape, from protecting airspace around major events to UAS supply chain security, domestic manufacturing, and the policies shaping how government and industry mitigate emerging threats.
Global standards and workforce.
Sessions will examine what it takes to scale UAS and AAM across markets, including how regulators can recognize common technical and safety standards across jurisdictions, and how the aviation workforce is adapting to new technologies and operational models.
Confirmed agencies include FAA, DHS, TSA, DOI, USDA, NASA, and FCC, spanning the full range of themes above. DoC, DoW, and USTDA are also invited.
