Las Vegas, NV (January 21, 2025) – The CZ P-09 Nocturne builds on the success of the CZ P-09 series of polymer-framed, hammer-fired pistols. It includes innovations like enhanced ergonomics and the ability to mount a red dot sight.

The Nocturne is available in full-size and compact configurations with a choice of suppressor-ready models, making it a shooter-friendly option for recreational use or comfortable everyday carry. 

Customers asked for the ability to mount a red dot sight, and CZ delivered with the Nocturne. The new Optics-Ready interface is compatible with Shield RMS and Holosun K footprints, allowing users to mount their preferred optics directly to the mounting interface for enhanced accuracy and precision. This configuration gives optics a lower profile while maintaining sight co-witnessing. Shooters who run the pistol without a red dot sight can use the rear sight for emergency cocking. Its luminescent 3-dot sight picture ensures quick and accurate target acquisition in various lighting conditions.

Enhanced front and rear cocking serrations create a secure hold when cycling the slide, while the redesigned slide stop offers easier control and handling. The pistol’s ergonomics have been tuned for pistol personalization with three sizes of interchangeable backstraps, an ambidextrous safety lever, and a manual safety and de-cocker.

The CZ P-09 Nocturne sports an improved grip texture pattern and expanded textured areas between the trigger guard and beaver tail in front of the slide catch/release lever on both sides of the frame and the magazine base, giving it a comfortable and stable grip even in wet conditions.

Based on the CZ 75 trigger system, the pistol’s Omega mechanism adds the option of a user-replaceable trigger release safety (de-cocker). The trigger features a smooth pull and crisp break in both modes. The shape of the trigger blade and spacious combat trigger guard allow for comfortable gloves-on shooting.

The CZ P-09 Nocturne underwent several demanding NATO AC/225 D/14 tests to ensure reliable operation in challenging conditions, such as high and low temperatures, salt water, sand, mud, and dust. It passed with flying colors. Fittingly, tactical accessories mount on traditional MIL-STD-1913 rails.

The rugged, fiberglass-reinforced polymer frame is robust and resistant to temperature fluctuations, ensuring reliable operation. Metal components are nitride-finished for maximum corrosion resistance. Its barrel uses CZ’s advanced cold hammer forging technology and is backed by a lifetime warranty.

EAGLEVILLE, PA, January 20, 2024 – Streamlight® Inc., a leading provider of high-performance lighting and weapon light/laser sighting devices, introduced high-lumen, multi-fuel versions of its TLR-8® and TLR-8® sub lines of laser-equipped weapon-mounted lights, featuring up to 1,000 lumens of brightness and a longer-reaching beam to maximize visibility and targeting capability. All the new models give users the choice of using either a cost-saving SL-B9® USB-C rechargeable battery pack or a CR123A lithium battery, depending on availability or user preference. They also offer convenient, front-loading battery replacement without having to remove the light from the firearm.

The new lights include the TLR-8® HL-X with red laser and the TLR-8® HL-X G with green laser for full-size and compact railed handguns, and the TLR-8® HL-X sub with red laser and the TLR-8® HL-X G sub with green laser, available to fit select GLOCK®, SIG SAUER®, Springfield Armory®, and many 1913 short railed subcompact handguns. All models offer customizable rear paddle switches to match users’ shooting styles.

“Law enforcement, military, tactical, and other users will appreciate these newest additions to the growing family of TLR rail-mounted lights that are rechargeable, but also provide the option of using disposable batteries,” said Streamlight President and Chief Executive Officer Ray Sharrah. “Because the lights are high-lumen, they produce sweeping bright light, while also delivering an intense down-range beam, which is ideal for room clearing, search operations, or other pursuits under low-light conditions. And users have their choice of red aiming laser models or green laser versions for improved focus during daylight.”

The TLR-8 HL-X and TLR-8 HL-X G feature a high-power LED and either a 640-660nm red or 510-530nm green laser. They deliver 1,000 lumens, 22,000 candela, a beam distance of 297 meters, and a run time of 30 minutes (default) or 500 lumens, 11,000 candela, a beam distance of 210 meters, and a run time of 1 hour (programmable) when using an SL-B9 battery pack. With a CR123A battery inserted, the lights provide 500 lumens,11,000 candela, a beam distance of 210 meters, and a run time of 1.5 continuous hours.

The TLR-8 HL-X sub and the TLR-8 HL-X G sub also feature a high-power LED, as well as either a 640-660nm red or 510-530nm green laser. They are each available in four different models to fit GLOCK® 43X MOS/48 MOS and GLOCK® 43X/48 Rail subcompact handguns; the SIG SAUER® P365® and P365® XL; the Springfield Armory® Hellcat®; and select 1913 short railed subcompact handguns including the Smith & Wesson® M&P® M2.0®, Beretta® Px4 Storm, Springfield Armory® XD-E™, XD-S® and Hellcat® Pro, Heckler & Koch® HK45 and SIG SAUER® P365® XMACRO.

They provide 1,000 lumens, 10,000 candela, a beam distance of 200 meters, and a run time of 30 minutes (default) or 500 lumens, 5,000 candela, a beam distance of 141 meters, and a run time of 1 hour (programmable) when using an SL-B9 battery pack. Using a CR123A battery, they deliver 500 lumens, 5,000 candela, a beam distance of 141 meters, and a run time of 1.5 continuous hours.

All new TLR-8 HL-X and TLR-8 HL-X sub models come with Streamlight’s SL-B9 protected lithium-ion 850mAh battery pack that is rechargeable up to 500 cycles and charges via a USB-C port on the battery or optional bank charger.

Securely fitting to a broad range of weapons (using the provided key kit), the new lights feature a one-handed, snap on and tighten interface that keeps hands away from gun muzzles when attaching or detaching them. The lights also include a “safe-off” feature, locking them so they cannot be turned on accidentally.

The TLR-8 HL-X models each weigh 3.14 ounces with the SL-B9 and 3.04 ounces with a disposable battery. They measure 2.90 inches in length. The TLR-8 HL-X sub models weigh 2.87 ounces with an SL-B9 and 2.77 ounces with a lithium battery; they are 2.51 inches long.

The new lights are constructed with impact-resistant 6000 Series machined aircraft aluminum with an anodized finish and feature an IPX4-rated design for water-resistant operation.

Available in Black, these lights are packaged with a high switch mounted on the light plus included low switches. They ship with one SL-B9 and a USB-C cord. The TLR-8 HL-X models have MSRPs of $453.92 (red laser) and $546.62 (green laser), while the TLR-8 HL-X sub models have MSRPs of $430.55 (red laser) and $518.00 (green laser). All come with Streamlight’s Limited Lifetime Warranty.

Awarded by the professional press and the ANVAR (National Agency for the Promotion of Research), the Netarm cleaning kit has been used by the French army and by PGM Precision for more than 30 years. It has also been used by the German army for more than 15 years.

The Netarm Cleaning Kit

The concept is simple: the fuse puller is inserted into the muzzle of the barrel and exits through the chamber of the weapon. The wick is then positioned on the end of the wick puller which comes out through the chamber. All you have to do is pull on the handle while holding the barrel firmly, and you’re done.

Featured updates to the product line include the updated design of the upper receiver and the adoption of the M-LOK® mounting system for the handguard. The two position, adjustable gas block was updated to a paddle style and is now located inside the rail, easily accessed to select suppressed or unsuppressed. Directly descended from rifles developed by LWRCI™, the ICMKII delivers the same defining features and quality manufacturing, customers rely on from LWRCI™.
“Building on the popularity and widespread adoption of the M-LOK® mounting system, we wanted to bring this innovation to our customers,” said David Ridley, Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing.
“To accommodate the handguard over our piston system, we completely redesigned the upper receiver to provide the necessary space for the operating system. Our goal was to ensure strength and reliability—qualities our customers have come to expect from LWRCI™. We are confident the ICMKII will deliver on those expectations.”
The LWRCI™ proprietary Short-stroke Gas Piston operating system delivers unmatched reliability in extreme conditions and is easy to maintain. The MKII features include a monoforge, one-piece upper receiver The ICMKII is still manufactured with industry leading fully ambidextrous operating controls including the bolt catch, bolt release, magazine release and safety selector, as well as the charging handle. All controls can easily be accessed and utilized on either side of the entire IC line. The IC-MKII retains the LWRCI™ signature cold hammer forged spiral fluted barrel, nickel boron coated bolt carrier, LWRCI™ Skirmish™ BUIS, and LWRCI™ compact stock and pistol grip.

(Cocoa, FL) – Diamondback Firearms, creator of high-quality firearms and industry-leading components, is excited to introduce the Diamondback SDR (Self Defense Revolver) in both 9mm as a snub nose and .357 magnum in a three-inch barrel. Both versions will be unveiled and showcased during the 2025 Shot Show Range Day.
The entire SDR revolver family has a 6-round capacity with a push-button cylinder release. This allows for faster loading and casing ejection. The revolvers come standard with a fixed orange fiber optic front sight, dovetail fiber optic green rear sight, and a fully captured crane link and cylinder assembly. Streamlight Offers Multi-Fuel Models of TLR-8 Weapon Lights

EAGLEVILLE, PA, January 17, 2024 – Streamlight® Inc., a leading provider of high-performance lighting and weapon light/laser sighting devices, launched multi-fuel models of its TLR-8® line of laser-equipped tactical weapon lights, designed to provide extreme brightness in tactical situations, while also offering users USB or disposable battery options. The new lights include the TLR-8® X with red laser and the TLR-8 X® G with green laser for full-size and compact railed handguns, and the TLR-8® X sub with red laser and the TLR-8® X G sub with green laser, available to fit select GLOCK®, SIG SAUER®, Springfield Armory®, and many 1913 short railed subcompact handguns.

All models of these new lights deliver 500 lumens and offer customizable rear switches that provide ambidextrous operation.

“These new lights, like their originals, are designed to maximize shooters’ weapon platforms in a variety of home defense and tactical applications,” said Streamlight President and Chief Executive Officer Ray Sharrah. “The red laser models maximize visibility and long-range targeting capability, while the green laser versions improve users’ ability to focus on targets during daylight, as the color green appears brighter to the human eye than other colored lasers. And all models are multi-fuel, giving users the choice of using either a CR123A lithium battery or Streamlight’s cost-saving SL-B9® USB-C rechargeable battery pack, depending on availability or user preference.”

Each of the new lights uses a high-power white LED that delivers 5,000 candela and 500 lumens over 141 meters and features a custom optic with a focused beam that optimizes peripheral illumination. The TLR-8 X and TLR-8 X sub include a 640-660nm red aiming laser, while the TLR-8 X G and TLR-8 X G sub feature a 510-530nm green aiming laser. All are powered by either one 3-volt CR123A lithium battery or one 850mAh Li-Ion USB-C rechargeable SL-B9 battery pack which charges via a USB-C cord or optional bank charger. Both types of batteries can be installed or removed through the face cap, eliminating the need to remove the light from the weapon.

The new models offer three lighting modes, LED Only, LED/Laser Combined, and Laser Only. Run times are 1.5 hours in LED Only or LED/Laser mode and 60 hours in Laser Only mode using a CR123A battery. With the SL-B9 battery pack inserted, run times are one hour in LED Only or LED/Laser mode and 36 hours on the Laser Only setting.

These lights feature a one-handed, snap on and tighten interface that keeps hands away from gun muzzles when attaching or detaching them. A key kit is also included to securely fit the lights to the broadest array of handguns of any light on the market.

The new models are constructed with 6000 Series machined aircraft aluminum with a black anodized finish and feature a BOROFLOAT® impact and scratch-resistant lens. The TLR-8 X and TLR-8 X G each weigh 2.64 ounces with a disposable battery, and 2.74 ounces with the SL-B9 battery pack; they measure 2.58 inches in length. Using a disposable battery, the TLR-8 X sub and TLR-8 X G sub models each weigh 2.77 ounces, and 2.87 ounces with the SL-B9 battery pack inserted. They are 2.51 inches in length. Featuring impact-resistant construction, the new models have an IPX4-rated design for water-resistant operation.

Both the TLR-8 X sub and the TLR-8 X G sub are available in four different models to fit GLOCK® 43X MOS/48 MOS and GLOCK® 43X/48 Rail subcompact handguns; the SIG SAUER® P365® and P365® XL; the Springfield Armory® Hellcat®; and select 1913 short railed subcompact handguns including the Smith & Wesson® M&P® M2.0®, Beretta® Px4 Storm, Springfield Armory® XD-E™, XD-S® and Hellcat® Pro; Heckler & Koch® HK45, and SIG SAUER® P365® XMACRO.

The TLR-8 X and TLR-8 X G have MSRPs of $412.92 and $505.62 respectively, while the MSRPs for the TLR-8 X sub and TLR-8 X G sub models are $389.55 and $477.00 respectively. All models come with Streamlight’s Limited Lifetime Warranty.

DarkWave is intended to replace monochrome green only AR symbology and low resolution thermal overlay images with full color, tube safe situational awareness. DarkWAVE fills the NVG’s field-of-view (FOV) with full color symbology at a higher resolution than currently available clip-on thermal imagers. The operational impact of the DarkWAVE is improved situational awareness for faster, more informed and decisive action (OODA loops) by our warfighters. DarkWAVE’s augmented clip-in visuals enhance warfighter’s ability to safely complete their missions, reduce fratricide and return home to their families.

Fulfilling the “Tradition Meets Innovation” promise, the Case Crossroads (XR) Series delivers a fresh take on classic Case designs. Making its SHOT Show debut, the XR Sod Buster® Jr., being released under the Crossroads banner, is a prime example. A modern reimagining of the timeless ’37 Sod Buster® Jr., pocket knife, the new XR version is designed with its original frame and slip joint mechanism, plus updated, premium features such as rugged burlap laminate, G-10 and natural wood handle materials and a stonewashed S35VN stainless steel Skinner blade for ultimate edge retention and durability. The precision build is secured with torque screws instead of pins to reinforce the knife’s integrity and performance over time.

Another popular classic being showcased in Las Vegas is the Baby Doc, a pint-sized version of the full-sized Case Doctor’s Knife, reissued for a limited time in a variety of traditional handle materials. Officially introduced to the public in January 2005, this perennial favorite, equipped with a spear blade and authentic miniature spatula tool, hearkens back to a time when doctors carried a versatile, multi-purposed folding knife in their medicine bags. Collectors and Case enthusiasts will be excited to make their appointments with the Baby Doc before it goes back into the vault at the end of 2025.

The wildly successful Marilla® and Kinzua® Modern EDC models will debut a new serrated blade feature at SHOT. Available in the Spring 2025 catalog, the Kinzua features either an S35VN serrated tanto or spear blade while the Marilla introduces an S35VN serrated drop point blade, each with a stonewash satin finish. These one-handed opening, lightweight anodized aluminum EDC models feature a triple faceted face or raised inlay for a reliable grip, a flipper design on a steel ball bearing pivot for quick and reliable deployment, and a reversible deep-carry pocket clip for a comfortable and versatile pocket carrying experience.

Also launching at SHOT is the new collection of Case Ridgeback® Hunter fixed blade knives, featuring new sculpted handles paired with the pattern’s traditional stainless steel Swept Skinner blade. Scalloped handle options are new for this rugged and durable fixed-blade hunting knife noted for its concave ground saber blade. The sculpted handles come in natural canvas laminate, black burlap laminate and green burlap laminate, with either a genuine leather or ballistic nylon sheath.

NSSF Praises U.S. Sen. Steve Daines’ FIND Act Introduction

WASHINGTON, D.C. — NSSF®, the Firearm Industry Trade Association, welcomed the introduction of S. 137, the Firearm Industry Nondiscrimination (FIND) Act, in the U.S. Senate by Sen. Steve Daines (R-Mont.). The bill has 21 original co-sponsors. This vital legislation will end the ability of corporate entities from profiting from taxpayer-funded federal contracts while discriminating against a Constitutionally-protected industry at the same time.

“This legislation is critical to ensuring ‘woke’ corporations don’t use their financial might, funded by taxpayers, to deny essential services to the firearm industry,” said Lawrence G. Keane, NSSF Senior Vice President and General Counsel. “Corporations, in particular financial institutions, have been dictating public policies from boardrooms that throttle firearm businesses, which are Constitutionally protected. This bill will no longer allow those corporations to benefit from taxpayer dollars while at the same time using those funds to deny Americans their Second Amendment rights. We thank Senator Daines for his leadership to ensure fairness in business, reasserting Congress’s role in ensuring the federal government isn’t picking winners and losers in the marketplace based on politics and protecting the ability of a lawful industry to compete for services without artificial and agenda-driven barriers.”

Sen. Daines’ FIND Act does not tell companies with whom they must do business. However, just as companies can chose who they wish to do business with, so can the government when it spends taxpayers money. This bill ensures corporations cannot benefit from contracts and subcontracts funded by taxpayers only to use their financial strength to unfairly discriminate against the firearm industry. For far too long, corporations have engaged in “boardroom gun control” to force firearm businesses to adopt measures that would restrict Americans’ Second Amendment rights. Corporations are free to hold these anti-Second Amendment policies if they choose but would forfeit access to lucrative federal contracts.

Similar laws have been enacted in nine states. Sen. Daines’ legislation would bring those same fair business protections to the federal government to ensure corporate entities are not forcing policies that deny American civil liberties through the benefit of taxpayer-funded federal contracts. Companion legislation, also supported by NSSF, was introduced in the U.S. House of Representatives by Congressman Jack Bergman (R-Mich.) as H.R. 45, with the same title.
