Team Winchester Olympians, Dania Vizzi and Kim Rhode Secure Gold, Silver, and Bronze Medals at ISSF World Cups

EAST ALTON, IL (April 23, 2025) — Dania Vizzi and Kim Rhode, both members of Team Winchester and Olympic shooting sports athletes continue to represent Team USA and Winchester at the highest level. Rhode and Vizzi have brought home two Gold medals, one Silver, and one Bronze in Women’s Skeet during the first two International Shooting Sport Federation (ISSF) World Cup Shotgun events of 2025.
In Buenos Aires, Argentina on April 1 – 11, Vizzi and Rhode were leaders throughout the entire competition and found themselves in an intense shoot-off for the World Cup title. Vizzi secured the win, claiming her third individual World Cup.
The second ISSF World Cup in Lima, Peru on April 13 – 22 saw Rhode lead the competition and culminate in another shoot-off against fellow Team USA athlete, Samantha Simonton, where Rhode secured the Gold. Vizzi joined Rhode and Simonton on the podium with Bronze after besting Yiting Jiang of China.
Vizzi and Rhode shoot the Winchester® AA® International, 24 gram #9, 1,325 fps target load.

Olin – Winchester Completes Acquisition of Small Caliber Ammunition Manufacturing Assets

EAST ALTON, IL (April 22, 2025) — Olin Corporation (NYSE: OLN) announced that it has completed the previously announced acquisition of the small caliber ammunition assets of AMMO, Inc.
The assets, employees and ammunition business are now part of Olin’s Winchester Ammunition business, including the brass shellcase capabilities and a newly constructed, world-class, 185,000 square foot production facility located in Manitowoc, Wisconsin. The facility and its skilled employees complement Winchester’s existing production capabilities, enabling greater specialization and broader participation across a variety of high-margin, specialty calibers.
Funded from available liquidity, this transaction is expected to be immediately accretive to Olin’s shareholders, delivering incremental expected first-year adjusted EBITDA of $10 to $15 million, including synergies realization, leveraging Winchester’s industry-leading economies of scale, raw material sourcing, and our projectile, primer, and loading capabilities. Once fully integrated, this acquisition is expected to yield adjusted EBITDA of $40 million per year with full realization of synergies.
“During our recent Investor Day, we committed to our capital allocation framework,” said Olin’s President and CEO, Ken Lane. “Like the White Flyer acquisition in 2023, this acquisition furthers our Winchester strategy to identify and secure small, bolt-on opportunities that are highly strategic and immediately accretive to Olin. By year three, we expect to have paid one and a half times adjusted EBITDA for these world-class assets.”
Brett Flaugher, President of Winchester Ammunition, noted, “The specialization of the Manitowoc facility will expand our reach into higher-value commercial, as well as international military and law enforcement calibers, while deepening our near full integration across the ammunition value chain. This shift enables our larger, legacy plants to focus on high-volume products and growing our cost advantage.”

Texas A&M University Wins SIG SAUER Relentless Warrior Championship Title

Texas A&M University Wins SIG SAUER Relentless Warrior Championship Title

NEWINGTON, N.H., (April 21, 2025) – SIG SAUER, Inc, industry leading manufacturer of cutting-edge firearms, optics, and ammunition, and the SIG SAUER Academy were honored to host the 2025 SIG Relentless Warrior Championship (SRWC) event. This year marked the largest SRWC in the event’s history hosting one hundred and twenty-six competitors. Cadets from the Air Force Academy, Coast Guard Academy, Royal Military College of Canada, University of North Georgia, Texas A&M, Merchant Marine Academy, Virginia Polytechnic Institute (VA Tech), West Point, The Citadel, and Virginia Military Institute (VMI) competed at the SIG SAUER Academy in Epping, New Hampshire over two days of stiff competition. At the conclusion of the event, competitors were honored at an awards banquet featuring retired US Army Lt. General John Deedrick.

The Texas A&M Corps of Cadets fended off defending champions UMA West Point to claim the team victory at the SIG SAUER Relentless Warrior Championship.

The SIG Relentless Warrior Challenge consisted of six challenging stages, testing competitors’ skills in marksmanship, teamwork, and leadership through mission focused themes. After a hard-fought battle with the New England cold, wind, rain, snow, and defending West Point champions, Texas A&M brought home the title of 2025 SIG Relentless Warrior Champion.

“On behalf of all the Cadets and Mid-shipmen who attended, I am very grateful to SIG SAUER for the time and effort committed to this event. I have coached 12 years of this match, and this was hands down the best organized and executed,” said Kevin Jimmerson, Marksmanship Instructor & Coach, Texas A&M Corps of Cadets Marksmanship Unit (CCMU).

“Competition is not about winning but improving your deficiencies. This is a vitally important lesson for these young men and women who will soon be leading young Americans in defense of our Country,” continued Mr. Jimmerson. “This Texas A&M team developed confidence and competence. We brought everything with us we needed to win this match.”

Refined and modernized for the 21st century, Galco’s Miami Classic II™ improves on the original Miami Classic™. Carrying a handgun in the same horizontal position as the Miami Classic, the Miami Classic II orients its spare ammo carrier in a horizontal position, allowing a faster and more natural grasp when reloading.

A key component of this shoulder system is its spider harness. All four points of the spider harness pivot independently and are connected by our unique clover shaped Flexalon™ swivel back plate, which is a Galco trademark. This results in a perfect fit and lasting comfort for all sizes and shapes. The Miami Classic II’s harness straps are 1 1/2″ at their widest point, distributing weight while also remaining concealable.

This Miami Classic II is constructed of premium steerhide and includes holster, harness, ammo carrier and a set of harness fasteners. The Miami Classic II is fully modular. Optional accessories and components may be purchased separately, including commonly-used items like tie-downs.
