An Option for Everyone: Escort Youth Shotgun Lineup for 2025

Rogers, AR (June 23, 2025) – Nothing is more memorable than a person’s first firearm. In the US, shotguns are often a part of history, culture, and a coming-of-age memento. Despite the personal timeline, these firearms are frequently used well into adulthood and passed down to the next generation to continue using and cementing tradition and personal history.

Escort Shotguns will continue this tradition with three youth shotguns: the FieldHunter Youth, PS Youth, and the all-new WS Youth for first-time hunters. All these exceptional firearms fill specific niche needs and outdoor uses, from bird hunting to target practice.

Receivers are made from an aircraft alloy receiver finished in a black anodized finish or camouflage patterns (PS Youth only), reducing weight and providing complete dependability with exceptional corrosion resistance. Affixed is a 22-inch oxidation-resistant chrome-plated steel barrel threaded for Escort’s multi-choke system. Choke options include F, IM, M, IC, and CYL, widening the practical use and shot patterns.

At the top of the shotgun is a 7mm checkered and vented anti-glare raised rib fitted with a fiber optic (WS Youth) or Brass Bead (FieldHunter Youth and PS Youth) front sight and 11mm grooves for scope mounts suitable for all environments and terrain. Depending on the purpose, the tube magazine holds 4+1 or, for hunting purposes, a migratory plug limits the capacity to 2+1. While in the field, sling studs are mounted for easy carry. Safety is not overlooked; manual cross-button trigger safeties are incorporated into the design for single-finger release without compromising target sight or removing hands from placement.

WS Youth:

Coming in 20 Gauge, the new for 2025 WS Youth is the perfect pump-action firearm for young hunters and shooters. It is built with small-framed shooters in mind while keeping a traditional look and excellent Turkish walnut furniture for the stock and forend. The 13-¾ inch length of pull for comfortable use leaves enough room to grow into and use for decades. The checkered grip surfaces provide an ergonomic control point, increasing grip and consistent handling. Likewise, a soft rubber buttpad assists in absorbing recoil and mitigating excessive load bruising.



The WS Youth measures 44 inches total and weighs 7 lbs, making it a perfect option for weight-based recoil mitigation while remaining lightweight for carry.

FieldHunter Youth:

Escort’s FieldHunter Youth carries many of the same quality features as the WS Youth. It shares receiver and barrel material construction and quality. The same anodized aircraft alloy and chrome-plated steel barrel are used and proof tested at the factory to ensure maximum durability. The FieldHunter Youth is for all levels of youth shooting and incorporates a 3-inch magnum chamber in a 20-gauge pump action. Capable of firing 2-¾ inch to 3-inch shells, the FieldHunter Youth easily handles upland birds to turkey.



Emphasis on fowl hunting is obvious and translates to a synthetic stock and forend for optimal weight reduction, durability, and water resistance. Stock shims are included for adjustment of drop and cast, not only for improved fit but also improved accuracy and for the best placement and removal of any potential slop that may arise with time or rough use.  The stock and forend feature checkered patterns in the synthetic materials for retention, improving control. Three stock spacers are included for buttstock adjustment to increase or decrease the length of pull with age or various personal frame builds.  Length of pull adjustments range from 13-¾ inches to 14-¼ inches. It has an overall length of 41 inches and weighs 6.2 lbs.

PS Youth:

PS Youth is a semiautomatic gas-operated shotgun in .410 and 20 gauge, using the SMART Valve Piston system. It handles 7/8 to 2 ounce magnum loads. Fast follow-up shots and a wide range of shell choices make this one of the most exciting youth shotguns in the Escort lineup.

The PS Youth has several pattern options: RealTree Timber Camo, Mossy Oak Bottomlands Camo, RealTree MAX 5 Camo, or Black Synthetic. These options allow the proper firearm to be used in the right areas and at the right time.

Three stock spacers are included for buttstock adjustment to increase or decrease the length of pull with age or various personal frame builds. Length of pull adjustments range from 13-¾ inches to 14-¼ inches. It holds an overall length of 41 inches and weighs 6 lbs. With reduced weight, more adjustability, and a gas-operated system, the PS Youth shines as a strong and safe example to pass down.
