Brantley, Livesay and Roberts Qualify with Their Elite Tactical Optics
OVERLAND PARK, Kan. – October 29, 2020 – Bushnell®, an industry leader in performance optics, will send three of its team members and their Elite Tactical riflescopes to compete with many of the best precision rifle shooters in the world at the AG Cup scheduled for October 30 – November 1, 2020.
The 2020 AG Cup will be hosted by the Arena Training Facility in Blakely, Georgia. Team Bushnell will be represented there by Robert Brantley, Troy Livesay and Charles Roberts. Armageddon Gear teamed with the Precision Rifle Series (PRS) to create the AG Cup Series, which consists of eight designated qualifier matches. Scores taken from the AG Cup Series are used to determine who will be invited to the final match, the AG Cup. This match is by invitation only and offers an entirely cash payout, with tens of thousands of dollars on the line. It is the largest monetary payout competition known to the precision rifle community.
In PRS competition, Elite Tactical optics are commonly used by competitors to help maximize their performance. It’s Friday and just four days until the National Elections. Just think readers in a mere 96 hours we will no longer be exposed to campaign ads designed to influence intellectual hemophiliacs. If you let it get under your skin it will drive you to seek therapy, but as regular readers know, a therapist is a jackass who studied psychology so they could understand themselves. If you think I’m bullshitting take a look at the map below, it was produced by the APA (American Psychological Association)
The map shows the distribution of licensed psychologists by county across the country. Here’s what’s interesting about this map. The highest concertation of licensed psychologists are all in areas in which looting and rioting devastated communities – so much for the efficacy of psychology. So what should you do if COVID-19 has you stressed out or if the upcoming election has you worried and to be quite honest it should. Don’t go out and pay some jackass $150+ per hour when you can accomplish the same thing, with better results at no charge by having a shoot the shit.
A shoot the shit is a social interaction during which any topic can be discussed, participants don’t need to know anything about the subject matter being discussed., they are free to make any unsupported comment, use uncensured profanity, insult anyone they wish or change the subject altogether. So, let’s get this therapist crap behind us and let’s shoot the shit.
The November 3rd National Elections are critically important for a variety of reason so it’s important to approach the voting booth with a modicum of understanding. What’s apparent to me is that Democrats are running against Donald J. Trump on the basis of how he acts and how he looks. I hear it from voters, I hear it from candidates.
One of the very unique and indeed greatest features of our Republic under the Constitution is that anyone can run for the Presidency provided they meet a couple of criteria. If he or she meets the criteria, your plumber can run for President of The United States. There is no requirement the candidate be nobility, lawyers, Harvard Graduates, Nobel laureate, male or female, black, white, yellow, brown or poke-a-dot. There is no requirement for prior government experience, of any type, diplomatic experience, military service or be an elocutionist. So, we elected Donald J. Trump because we’ve had it with the political aristocracy. It’s important for you to understand that because it will force you to measure Donald Trump on measurable output.
A) One of the attacks leveled against the President is that he’s mismanaged the COVID-19 pandemic. The Biden campaign is telling voters that he will stamp out the COVID-19 virus by doubling test sites. The stupidity of that comment reveals that the Biden campaign has no idea of what is going on. Why? Quite simply because an individual testing negative today can test positive tomorrow. So, is he planning on testing people daily? Furthermore, if an individual tests positive will he send them into isolation or saran wrap the poor bastard? They are clueless. Has the flu been defeated? Clearly not, so what we do in case of the flu is we take flu shots every year during flu season.
What Donald Trump did was to focus his Administration on parallel tracks. Generally these events follow what in project management parlance is called a waterfall process. In a waterfall approach, we complete one step at a time, which would add a couple of years to this COVID problem. From everything that I’ve seen and read, we will have an approved vaccine by the end of the year, which in epidemiology is unheard-of. So, has Trump mismanage COVID, not even close. But it’s an accusation that plays well on people with an irrational fear of COVID. Are you afraid of catching the flu, quite likely not. Yet the flu takes an average of 35,000 lives a year. Who is vulnerable to the flu, the same individuals vulnerable to COVID-19. So, don’t judge Donald Trump on how he acts or sounds unless that’s what’s important to you.
B) Another attack on Trump is his favoring of the wealthy – utter and complete bullshit. That attack is designed to get you to think the only reason you’re not wealthy is because the wealthy are keeping you down. Part two of that attack is saying that Trump only paid $750 in Federal Tax. So, let’s digest that a bit. Individuals and businesses are allowed to avoid taxes; however, they are not allowed to evade taxes. Tax avoidance comes from utilizing tax laws to reduce a tax liability and tax laws are passed by Congress. Joe Biden was in Congress for 45 years, he along with other members of Congress drafted the tax laws, including loopholes. Tax laws,, for example, allow a homeowner to deduct their mortgage interest reducing their tax liability for the tax year. So, should the homeowner not use that tax deduction? No. Tax laws allow for the creation of investment tools, trusts and a variety of other vehicles that a business or wealthy individual can use to reduce their tax liability. So, Trump paying only $750 in income tax is a non issue provided that it was done legally.
Creating a business friendly environment is important for job creation, growth, entrepreneurship. Governments create business friendly environments through lower taxes, providing capital investment incentives and eliminating regulations. Regulations can add millions of dollars in cost to a business and many of these regulations are politically motivated or designed to impose barriers to entry.
This is just two points that I want to raise with you; my message is simply this, don’t make your voting decisions of the basis of what Donald Trump sounds like, Tweets like or looks like. He cares about you and the country. I rest my case!

NEWTOWN, Conn. – NSSF®, the trade association for the firearm industry, praised the U.S. Senate confirmation of Justice Amy Coney Barrett, who was sworn into the U.S. Supreme Court by Justice Clarence Thomas in a White House ceremony. Justice Barrett fills the vacancy on the court left following the passing of Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg. Justice Barrett joins at least four other U.S. Supreme Court Justices who are rooted in originalism and interpret the Constitution as meaning today what it meant when it was drafted by the Founding Fathers.
“NSSF is extremely pleased with the confirmation of Justice Barrett and we are confident her service to the nation and the Supreme Court will have tremendous and lasting impact for decades and generations,” said Lawrence G. Justice Barrett was reported favorably in a unanimous vote by the Senate Judiciary Committee when Senate Democrats abdicated their duty to vote and boycotted the committee vote, including Democratic vice presidential nominee Sen. Kamala Harris (D-Calif.). Justice Barrett endured four days of committee confirmation hearings during which she deftly answered all questions and accusations by senators opposed to her nomination without the benefit of references or notes. Her mental acuity and comprehension of Constitutional law was on full display.
Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) held the Senate in session over the weekend, a rare occurrence, which set up the final vote held late Monday evening.
Justice Barrett listed a Second Amendment-related case, Kanter v Barr, as the most important opinion she authored. She dissented in that opinion at the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit. Justice Barrett disagreed the with court’s opinion that non-violent felons who are not a public safety threat should be stripped of Second Amendment rights that are protected by the U.S. Constitution based on originalist interpretation of the law.

The new and improved powder funnel will last longer, properly flaring and seating the bullet inside brass or NAS3 casing to prevent tipping over of the bullet during indexing of the shell plate. Shell Shock Technologies’ NAS3 cases do not require any special dies for the initial loading, but S3 RELOAD dies are required for reloading pistol cases as our cases are not only a different material than a brass case but they also end up being a different physical shape after firing. NAS3 cases spring back to virtually their original size after being fired.
No special dies are required to seat the bullet or crimp the 9mm NAS3 cases. NAS³ cases only require a very light touch with the crimping dies as the tensile strength of the stainless-steel cylinders tends to grip a bullet tighter than a brass case would.
The body of the sizing die and its carbide insert is manufactured by Lee Precision. The other components of these sets are manufactured by S3 RELOAD.

Man, it’s been three weeks since I’ve had a shoot the shit and I really need one. What a month? I had two fellow service members pass away and I already miss them, There’s comradery that comes with military service which is more often than not thicker than blood. “Fair winds and following seas to John and Rick.” Adding to that, I’ve been informally working to reelect the President. If you’ve been keeping up with the political climate you know all too well that one could easily end global hunger with the bull shit being fed to our voters by the Democrat Party. It’s unreal!
Having said that, you’ll be proud of me not resorting to paying $150+ per hour to some jackass who majored in psychology so they could understand themselves. As evidence of the appropriateness of my decision let’s visit the Jeffrey Toobin, CNN Legal Analyst, incident. Jeff, apparently, had a couple of ZOOM video calls in progress, one with the New Yorker Magazine and the other with an unidentified participant. It’s been reported that during a pause in the call with the New Yorker, for some breakout discussions, Jeffery Toobin switched to a second call that was the video-call equivalent of phone sex, according to the two people familiar with the call, apparently Jeff thought he had the call with The New Yorker muted but as luck would have it NOT! It appears that Jeff was exposing himself to the second caller. Who was that second caller?
Could it be a psychologist attempting to diagnose PDD? People with PDD feel shame and anxiety about penis size. They may mistakenly believe that they have a micropenis, even when their penis size is normal. Jeffery may have attempted to enlarge his tool responding by beating his meat . Who the hell knows, but CNN and The New Yorker told him to take a little time off.
But was it a case of PDD or was it due to the COVID-19 lockdown. The only people that have handled the lockdown well are ex submarine sailors, everyone one else is committing suicide. I say this jokingly but suicides are through the roof, and before you consider suicide schedule a shoot the shit and beat your meat, which is permissible.
What is a shoot the shit? It is a social interaction during which the participants don’t need to know anything about the topic, they can make any unsupported comment, they can use uncensured profanity, insult anyone they wish or change the subject altogether.
For this shoot the shit, I’d like to talk a little about cultural interactions in language and art.
Cubans speak Spanish, there’s is no such thing as speaking Cuban; however, there are applications of Spanish words in its vernacular that completely misrepresent the original word. One such word is Coño (pronounced kon-yo). The correct meaning of Coño is the female genital pubescence. But to a Cuban, saying Coño communicates a variety of things. For example, you’re sitting at an outdoor café in Zurich having a CAFE CREME when you see a gorgeous woman walk past you. You say Konyoooooo! However, you wake up to urinate in the middle of the night and stub your toe you say KONyo that’s a loud and hard emphasis on the KON. And, if you’re being annoyed by some jackass you would say el KONYO de tu madre, referring to his or her mother’s genital pubescence. So as you can see, a word like Conyo has many uses. If you find yourself in Barcelona, Coño retains its proper meaning.
Since the appearance of man, art has been both a tool and an expression of human condition. Russia has consistently excelled in the fine arts: ballet, symphony and prose. Russian art has one defining characteristic it is very intense and usually tragic, simply stated it is deeply profound. But in its somber tone there lies enormous inspiration; for example, Tchaikovsky’s – the Full 1812 Overture (with Cannons). Try taking in this piece before you show up at your advanced tactical carbine class. Film is equally powerful and one of the best Russian directors is a Muscovite by the name of Andrei Konchalovsky.
Konchalovsky’s recent film, is the story of Michelangelo, titled SIN Il Peccato (il Peccato is sin in Italian). It’s superbly directed, powerful and worth watching. Konchalovsky does an amazing job of capturing all the savagery of the Renaissance Period that’s normally overlooked in other films. Here’s the official trailer.
