MQ-9B SEAGUARDIAN® FEATURED IN US NAVY’S GROUP SAIL EXERCISE

SAN DIEGO – 25 April 2023 – The U.S. Navy’s Group Sail Exercise, held over a six-day period in Hawaiian military operating areas, featured one of the world’s most advanced Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) — the MQ-9B SeaGuardian® supplied by General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, Inc. (GA-ASI). SeaGuardian conducted Maritime Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (MISR), Anti-Submarine Warfare (ASW), Long Range Fires, and simulated Battle Damage Assessment as part of Group Sail, which supported Carrier Strike Groups FIFTEEN and ONE.

During the exercise, which ran April 12-17, 2023, SeaGuardian integrated with U.S. Navy ships (carriers, cruisers, and destroyers) and aircraft (F-35C, F/A-18, EA-18G, E-2D, MH-60, and P-8) to support various naval missions that included Maritime Domain Awareness, Surface Warfare, Information Warfare, and numerous time-sensitive targeting objectives and simulated Battle Damage Assessments.

“We were thrilled that the U.S. Navy requested SeaGuardian be part of the Group Sail training event,” said GA-ASI President David R. Alexander. “We know the many successes of SeaGuardian during the USN’s RIMPAC 2022 exercise was a big reason the SeaGuardian was invited back to Hawaii to support Group Sail.”

In addition to its contributions during Group Sail, the SeaGuardian self-deployed from GA-ASI’s Desert Horizons flight operations facility in El Mirage, Calif., to Marine Corps Base Hawaii, covering over 2,500 nautical miles in a single flight and demonstrating SeaGuardian’s unrivalled expeditionary attributes. The aircraft self-deployed back to El Mirage following the exercise.

U.S. Patriot, a GALLS® company, will tour 25 military bases across the country this spring and summer, celebrating the bravery and service of U.S. Military Service Members to our country.

The U.S. Patriot team will start the tour on May 2, 2023, at Ft. Campbell, KY, and will visit 25 US military bases over four months ending the tour at Ft. Leonard Wood, Missouri, on Aug. 5, 2023. NSSF to File Lawsuit to Block Unconstitutional Law

WASHINGTON, D.C. — NSSF®, The Firearm Industry Trade Association, condemns Washington Gov. Jay Inslee’s signature of HB 1240, the law that bans the sale and transfer of Modern Sporting Rifles (MSRs) and many other firearms. The law is clearly unconstitutional under the U.S. Supreme Court’s holdings in both the Heller and Bruen decisions. NSSF will file a legal challenge to this law with Clement & Murphy, PLLC.

“There is no doubt that this law signed by Gov. Jay Inslee unconstitutionally denies Second Amendment rights to law-abiding citizens in Washington state,” said Lawrence G. Keane, NSSF Senior Vice President & General Counsel. “NSSF worked in good faith with state legislators to warn them that this legislation runs afoul of Constitutionally-guaranteed Second Amendment rights to possess commonly owned firearms. Governor Inslee and Washington’s Attorney General Bob Ferguson put politics ahead of their duty to defend the Constitution and protect the rights of their citizens. NSSF will immediately sue Attorney General Ferguson to have this law declared unconstitutional.”

The 15-page law signed by Gov. Inslee outlaws the sale, transfer and import of at least 60 named firearms in Washington and includes the “AK-47 in all forms,” and “AR15, M16, or M4 in all forms.” There are more than 24.4 million MSRs in circulation today.

Washington’s gun ban law also labels nearly every semiautomatic rifle, pistol or shotgun as an “assault weapon” if those firearms include cosmetic features that have no bearing on the function of commonly owned semiautomatic MSRs. In fact, many of these banned features increase safety and precision, reducing the possibility of errant shots.

The time has come that sadly we knew would arrive with our current political environment. Washington HB1240 has been the subject of many conversations, emails, videos and likely affected some decisions you may have made recently. Today, we are forced to cease all sales of the newly prohibited firearms, parts and lower receivers that are listed by this legislation to all Washington State residents. We have spoke about the deadline approaching for the last several weeks, and that time has come.
We are frustrated, angered, and saddened by the progress of this bill which we feel ultimately prohibits you from exercising your constitutional rights. Many have asked what can be done and what we are doing about this? We encourage everyone to become involved by contacting your elected officials, volunteer for organizations, and support those that are fighting this in our legal system. Rainier Arms has been a champion for the firearms community and will continue to donate, support and provide resources to advocate for Washington, and all of our community, to secure their rights of firearms ownership.
This is a sad day for Washington. While this news is not what we ever wanted to have to report, we are also thankful for the strong partnerships in our industry. Our staff, who worked countless overtime hours and extra shifts, expressed their appreciation for the support and patience of the customers that visited our storefront during this wave of events. Both pistols were originally issued by the U.S. Army and fielded during the initial domestic and in-theater deployment of the Modular Handgun System. The unique, one-of-a-kind, features of these surplus pistols include coyote controls, the original government-issue markings and serial numbers, and orange rear and green front SIGLITE Night Sights.

NGOs Can Apply for $100,000 in NSSF Awards; Focus on Non-traditional Participants

WASHINGTON, D.C.— NSSF®, The Firearm Industry Trade Association, has opened the application period for the 2023 Hunting Heritage Trust® Grants, offering a total of $100,000 in awards.

NSSF’s Hunting Heritage Trust Grant program is designed to support recruitment efforts benefitting hunting and the shooting sports. Qualified non-governmental organizations (NGOs) may apply for a portion of this year’s $100,000 grant total, to be used to support recruitment, retention and reactivation programs, known collectively as R3 efforts. As it did last year, NSSF will place an emphasis on programs that focus on increasing non-traditional participants.

Only project proposals submitted by and in the name of NGOs are eligible for funding. NSSF advises potential applicants to read the application guidelines carefully to fully understand which projects are, and are not, eligible for Hunting Heritage Trust Grant funding.

“We are excited to offer this new round of Hunting Heritage Trust Grants to encourage organizations to expand programs that facilitate participation among diverse groups in target shooting and hunting,” said Joe Bartozzi, NSSF President and CEO. “We’ll be looking to reward programs that address the needs of this growing participant base. If you’ve got a program in mind that meets the grant guidelines, a Hunting Heritage Trust Grant can help get it off the ground.”

Grant applications must be submitted to NSSF by end of business (5:00 p.m. Eastern time) on May 12, 2023. All projects awarded grant funding in 2023 must be completed by March 10, 2024. Organizations are eligible for only one grant award from the Hunting Heritage Trust Grant program.

WASHINGTON, D.C. — NSSF®, The Firearm Industry Trade Association, hailed U.S. Rep. Andy Barr’s (R-Ky.) introduction of the Fair Access to Banking Act, H.R. 2743. The much-needed legislation would require banks to provide access to services, capital, and credit based on the objective risk assessment of individual customers, rather than subjective broad-based decisions affecting whole categories or classes of customers. The bill was introduced immediately after NSSF’s Fly-In with firearm industry executives meeting with Congressional lawmakers. It has 42 original co-sponsors.

The Fair Access to Banking Act would stop corporate banks from picking winners and losers based on executives’ personal politics. It also protects banks from outside pressure by special interest groups seeking to use the banks as a political weapon to advance their agenda.

“Congressman Barr’s ‘Fair Access to Banking’ bill is vital to ensure financial service providers aren’t discriminating against lawful industries like the firearm industry to score points with the ‘woke’ cancel culture. This legislation will ensure financial institutions, when deciding whether or not to offer services to fully legal and lawful businesses, make such decisions based upon verifiable financial data and not on the political or social views of a few bank executives,” said Lawrence G. Keane, NSSF’s Senior Vice President and General Counsel. “The banking industry has benefited from taxpayer bailouts and taxpayer-funded insurances, and it is unacceptable that these same banking institutions believe they can arbitrarily deny services to legal, constitutional businesses such as our industry, which gainfully employs millions of Americans and helps guarantee the right to keep and bear arms. The firearm industry thanks Representative Barr for his leadership to guarantee all legal and regulated American companies have fair and uniform access to financial services.”

Corporate banks have privatized “Operation Choke Point,” the illegal discrimination scheme that was begun under the Obama-Biden administration. The Department of Justice (DOJ) and Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC)-led effort directed financial institutions to deny entire industries access to services, including the firearm industry. Despite being a constitutionally-protected industry, the Obama-Biden administration illegally coerced banks to end existing business relationships and deny new ones.

After the illegal practice was ended under the Trump administration, banks and special interest advocates simply privatized this scheme by adopting policies that specifically denied firearm businesses financial services for being in the business of selling certain types of lawful firearms. They forced these discriminatory practices while exploiting taxpayer-funded resources like FDIC insurance protections.

Kansas City, KS (April 20, 2023) – The Limited edition Tribute to Legends pistols will be available at auction today via NFT right to purchase tokens. This series consists of only 50 sets of hand-engraved Colt 1911 and CZ 75 pistols hand-engraved firearms, commemorating the merger of two globally renowned firearm brands – American Colt and Czech CZ – into one holding company in May 2021. The auction will begins on Thursday, April 20th, and run until Thursday, April 27th.

The Tribute to Legends edition serial number range is COLT2021001 to COLT2021050 for the Colt 1911 and CZ2021001 to CZ2021050 for the CZ 75, which refers to the year of the Colt and CZ merger. The same unique serial number engraved on each pistol can also be found on the gold-plated base plate of its corresponding magazine.

The auction will be for NFT “Right to Purchase” tokens, which serve as vouchers for the right to purchase a specific pistol. These digital assets backed by blockchain technology make them unique, ensuring they can’t be duplicated, and allow you to trade them safely on the Colt CZ Group marketplace. Three sets with the serial numbers COLT2021002, COLT2021009 and COLT2021013, and CZ 75 CZ2021002, CZ2021009 and CZ2021013 are currently at auction.

Each set of pistols are being auctioned separately. Bidders may bid on the serial numbers of their choice and any number of NFT tokens. Once bidders win the auction to reserve their serial number, the physical pistols are then sold separately to the bidder. The cost is independent of the amount paid for the Voucher.

The Mongoose

The traditional Korth Mongoose is a classic revolver chambered in .357 Magnum/.38 Special available in 2.75”, 3”, 4”, 5.25”, and 6” barrels. The roller trigger system creates an insanely smooth double and single action trigger unlike anything else on the market.
