APP UPDATE
NEW DRILLS
SAFE SPACE
MORE WAYS TO TRAIN
We just dropped a new MantisX Pistol/Rifle app update! It brings a new TitanX-exclusive drill for your reloads, a new place to experiment without hurting your stats, and faster ways to review and set up your training.
TITANX EXCLUSIVE
MAG CHANGE ANALYSIS DRILL
The all-new Mag Change Analysis drill gives you feedback on the consistency of your reload. Much like the Holster Draw Analysis drill, it shows detailed metrics you haven’t had access to before, including the exact amount of time the mag well is empty. We’re evaluating your:
■ Reload consistency
■ Empty-mag-well time
■ Phase-by-phase breakdown
■ Trace & heat map
■ Time to follow-up shot
Build an efficient reloading technique, break bad habits and get back on target fast.
SAFE SPACE DRILL
Safe Space is a new Standard Drill on all X devices that gives you room to fail. Experiment with new techniques, push your speed and learn new skills without dragging down your shot score stats.
You can configure the drill to get the same feedback and coaching as any other drill, and every shot and session still counts toward your daily goals and training schedules. Sessions stay in History, so add notes on what you were working on.
HOW TO TURN IT ON: Safe Space is disabled by default. Tap the pencil icon in the Drills header, then toggle Safe Space on. It stays in your drill list until you toggle it off.
DYNAMIC DRILLS
REPEAT PILLS
When you set repeats on a Dynamic drill, repeat now appears as a pill/button at the top of your session. Review the whole session, or tap any pill to see just that set. Tap the red pill again to go back to the full session.
To set repeats, tap the drill settings icon on the start screen and use the Repeat slider, from ‘No Limit’ up to 15 reps per session. Fewer taps on your phone, more reps.
SETTINGS UPDATE
SHOT DETECTION MODE
Tapping the Shot Detection Mode button on a drill start screen now opens the full list of modes, not just a cycle through the top options. Tap any mode to select it, or use its settings icon to fine-tune it.
Update your MantisX app to 8.7.0 to start using these features today.
