Both are built on durable 16-gauge steel housings, a smooth-operating steel barrel lock, and two included keys, and both ship with a 4-foot steel security cable rated to withstand up to 1,500 pounds of force, secured through a patented, space-saving cable receiver that keeps the box anchored without eating into usable storage. Inside, premium foam interior cradles and protects contents, with the Large sized for most 4-inch-barrel pistols and some 4-inch revolvers, and the XL stepping up to fit 1911-size pistols and 4-inch revolvers.
