The Cronus ATS P-Mini 250S Thermal Monocular and the Cronus ATS Pro 25P-250 Thermal Scope are built on shared sensor technology and the same Athlon Ballistic app ecosystem, giving hunters a scouting-to-shot system rather than two unrelated pieces of gear.
The pairing follows how a thermal hunt actually unfolds. Before a shot is ever lined up, a hunter needs to scan wide open ground quickly and confirm what is out there, which is where the P-Mini 250S comes in. At just 7.23 ounces, it is compact enough to ride in a pocket or bino harness all night without adding noticeable weight, yet its 256×192 thermal sensor with a 12-micron pixel pitch and NETD below 30mK spots heat signatures out to 550 yards and separates game from brush and background clutter that would wash out on a lesser sensor. Seven color palettes and adjustable brightness and contrast let hunters tune the view to the conditions in front of them, while the 1.43-inch OLED touchscreen makes switching between settings a matter of a tap rather than hunting through buttons in the dark, while reducing eye fatigue.
Once game is spotted and confirmed, the Cronus ATS Pro 25P-250 takes over for the shot itself. Mounted on a Picatinny rail without the need for scope rings, it shares the same 256×192, 12-micron sensor family as the P-Mini 250S, so the image a hunter has come to trust while scouting carries over directly to the scope glass. A 25mm F1.0 lens and 3.6x to 14.4x zoom range extend detection out to 1,400 yards and recognition to 500 yards, while ten selectable reticles across six colors and seven color palettes let hunters set up the reticle exactly how they hunt. The built-in ballistic calculator, powered by the Athlon Ballistics App, factors in caliber, bullet weight, and muzzle velocity to display real-time holdovers, and the scope automatically records video before and after the shot the moment it detects recoil.
Because both optics connect to the same Athlon Ballistics app ecosystem over Wi-Fi, hunters manage recordings, review footage, and keep ballistic profiles in one place rather than learning two separate systems. Both units are also built for the conditions a night hunt actually delivers, with the P-Mini 250S carrying an IP66 rating for dust and heavy spray and the 25P-250 rated IP67 for full waterproof and dustproof protection, and both hold up to more than nine hours of continuous use on a single charge with USB-C recharging and external battery pack support when a sit runs long.
