Head-to-Toe Warmth Starts at the Top: THAW RC Heated Hood Delivers Targeted Cold-Weather Comfort
Fort Worth, Texas (October 1, 2026)—When temperatures drop and cold winds pick up, outdoor activities can quickly become uncomfortable. Protecting the head, ears, neck, and face is especially important in cold conditions, making dependable headwear an essential part of any cold-weather gear kit.
Traditional hats and toboggan caps provide basic insulation, but they can shift in strong winds and offer limited protection from wet conditions. THAW takes cold-weather headwear a step further with the new RC Heated Hood, combining soft fleece comfort with rechargeable heating technology to provide warmth exactly where it is needed most.
The RC Heated Hood is a versatile cold-weather essential for outdoor enthusiasts, travelers, sports fans, commuters, and anyone who spends time outside in cooler conditions. Designed to warm the head, ears, neck, and face, the hood features targeted carbon-fiber heating elements, a soft fleece construction, and three adjustable heat settings that reach temperatures up to 115°F (46°C).
Two strategically positioned carbon-fiber heating elements focus warmth around the ear area while helping distribute heat throughout the hood for a comfortable, consistent warming experience. Three adjustable heat settings allow the level of warmth to be matched to changing conditions, while an adjustable cinch provides a secure, customized fit.
Powered by an included rechargeable 2,200mAh lithium-ion battery, the RC Heated Hood provides up to 6.5 hours of heat on low mode, making it well-suited for extended days outdoors. A water-repellent battery pocket helps protect the power source from snow and light precipitation, while the machine-washable construction makes cleaning and maintenance simple.
Whether watching a football game from the stands, cheering at a soccer tournament, enjoying an outdoor concert, commuting through cold weather, or traveling to colder destinations, the RC Heated Hood delivers portable, rechargeable warmth wherever cold-weather comfort is needed.
Stay warm from the top down with the THAW RC Heated Hood, combining the comfort of soft fleece with the convenience of rechargeable heat for cold-weather adventures and everyday outdoor activities.
