GREENSBORO, N.C. (October 1, 2026) – C.E. Smith Company, a Greensboro-based manufacturer of boat trailer parts, rod holders, and marine hardware since 1967, will exhibit at the International BoatBuilders’ Exhibition & Conference (IBEX) 2026. The show runs October 6–8 at the Tampa Convention Center in Tampa, Florida.
Founded as a metal manufacturing company, C.E. Smith has spent nearly six decades producing custom and universal components for the marine and trailer industries. The company operates an 85,000-square-foot manufacturing plant and a 60,000-square-foot distribution center in Greensboro. From there, it supplies OEMs, dealers, and distributors with trailer parts, winches, hardware, and custom-fabricated components. Beyond marine, C.E. Smith also manufactures products for customers in industries such as telecommunications, vending, and transportation equipment.
At IBEX, the C.E. Smith team will meet with boat builders, trailer manufacturers, and distribution partners. Topics will include custom manufacturing, private-label opportunities, and supply partnerships for the 2027 model year.
