BUK OPS® X-Factor Range-Finding Crossbow Scope Delivers Deadly Accuracy to 100 Yards

Buck Commander’s built-in rangefinder and Speed Dial reticle take the guesswork out of every shot
West Monroe, LA (SEPTEMBER 30, 2026) – Buck Commander continues to push the limits of crossbow optics with the BUK OPS® X-Factor Range-Finding Crossbow Scope. Built for hunters who need fast, accurate distance-to-target calculations in dynamic environments, the X-Factor pairs a built-in angle-compensating laser rangefinder with a Speed Dial reticle calibrated to the hunter’s exact arrow speed — giving shooters confidence out to 100 yards.
The X-Factor’s angle-compensating rangefinder is only half the story. The scope also factors in ballistic drop, fine-tuned to the crossbow’s arrow speed, so hunters get accurate holdover whether they’re shooting from a treestand, a ground blind on hilly terrain, or anywhere in between. Hunters can range a fixed point with a single press of the Range button, or hold the button to activate Active Scan mode, which continuously tracks a moving target.
The Speed Dial precision reticle makes calibration simple. Once a hunter has zeroed the top reticle, a single turn of the Speed Dial matches the scope to the crossbow’s feet-per-second rating, aligning drop marks out to 100 yards. A rheostat-controlled illuminated reticle offers selectable red or green illumination, so hunters can dial in the right contrast and intensity for early morning, midday, or last-light conditions.
Sighting In the X-Factor
Buck Commander designed the X-Factor’s zeroing process to be straightforward, even in the field:
1. Set up a crossbow-rated target at a measured 10 yards and confirm a safe backstop.
2. Aim the top reticle (the 20-yard aim point) at the center of the target and fire from a stationary rest. At 10 yards, each click of the windage and elevation dials moves the point of impact 1/20 inch—20 clicks move it about an inch.
3. Adjust the elevation and windage dials until the point of impact matches the point of aim.
4. Move back to 20 yards and repeat. At this distance, each click moves point of impact 1/10th of an inch — 10 clicks equal about an inch.
5. Once the top reticle is zeroed at 20 yards, step back to 30 yards and fire using the second-from-top reticle. Use the Speed Dial — not the elevation dial — to bring impact up or down, since adjusting elevation here would disturb the 20-yard zero. Fine-tune left-right with the windage dial.
6. Confirm accuracy at 40 or 50 yards, making small tweaks to the Speed Dial and windage as needed, then tighten the locking ring to lock in the calibration.
With the scope properly zeroed and speed-calibrated, the remaining reticle drop marks — out to 100 yards — fall into place automatically, giving hunters a fast, repeatable process they can trust in the field.
