Primary Weapons Systems Unveils MK110 ALPHA Limited Edition Long-Stroke Piston Rifle
Boise, ID (September 22, 2026) – Primary Weapons Systems (PWS) is raising the bar for its marquee ALPHA platform with the launch of the MK110 ALPHA Limited Edition, a long-stroke piston rifle built for shooters who demand top-tier performance and a distinctive, collectible finish. Chambered in 5.56 NATO and finished in a striking green anodize across the receivers and handguard, the MK110 pairs PWS’s most advanced engineering with premium components not found on any other model in the lineup.
At the core of the MK110 is a 416 stainless-steel, nitride-coated 10.5-inch barrel with a 1:7-inch twist rate and 1/2-28 muzzle threads, purpose-built for reliable performance in a compact, maneuverable package. The barrel is paired with PWS’s legendary long-stroke piston operating system and a three-position gas adjustment knob, delivering the clean-running, suppressor-optimized performance for which PWS is known. The system vents excess gas forward, reducing fouling during operation and keeping internal parts cooler, thereby reducing maintenance needs between range sessions or patrols.
The ALPHA series’ steel plate-reinforced M-LOK handguard is secured with hardened screws and anti-rotation tabs for exceptional rigidity under hard use. A hallmark of the ALPHA platform, the handguard’s forward-accessible gas adjustment knob (GAK) remains exposed and unobstructed, letting shooters make quick adjustments even when running top-rail-mounted lasers or other accessories.
Premium controls define the MK110’s user experience. It ships with a Radian Raptor charging handle and Radian Talon ambidextrous safety selector for fast, intuitive manipulation from either side, along with a Geissele Super Dynamic Enhanced (SD-E) trigger for a crisp, consistent pull shot after shot. The included FRC 2 Port compensator mitigates recoil and flash while remaining compatible with PWS PUB suppressor mounts and other common HUB taper adaptors.
Recoil management gets a further boost from the PWS A5 buffer system, which combines an A5 enhanced buffer tube with an A5 H2 buffer and a Sprinco A5 spring for a drastically smoother recoil impulse. Furniture is finished in Olive Drab Green (ODG) and includes a Magpul MOE SL-S stock, a Magpul K2 grip, and a Magpul 30-round PMAG magazine, rounding out a build that’s as functional as it is visually striking.
