Good lighting isn’t a luxury when you’re navigating low-light environments, working off-grid, or managing night hunts—it’s an absolute necessity.

I’ve got my hands on the Streamlight PROTAC® 2.0 DUCKS UNLIMIITED EDITION Headlamp, and a full field-test review is dropping soon. Built around Streamlight’s rugged aircraft-aluminum chassis, and fully rechargeable, this headlamp brings 2,000 lumens of output right to your forehead.

So, gear up, because I’m putting Streamlight’s new ProTac 2.0 Ducks Unlimited Edition through its paces.

Whether you’re setting up decoys before dawn or managing low-light field ops, a reliable, hands-free light source is non-negotiable. Streamlight packed 2,000 lumens of raw output into this rugged, aircraft-aluminum unit, paired with their USB-C rechargeable SL-B50 battery pack and customizable TEN-TAP® programming.

This limited edition sports a Desert Tan finish, custom Ducks Unlimited headband, and a game-spotter green filter designed to preserve night vision when stealth and low visibility matter most. Built tough with an IP64 dust/water resistance rating and 2-meter impact testing, it’s engineered to handle wet, harsh, real-world environments without flinching.

I’ll be breaking down beam distance, run times, durability, and practical field utility to see if it earns a permanent spot on your kit loadout.

Whether you need hands-free reliability on tactical missions, night hunts, or emergency field prep, I’ll be putting this headlamp to work to see if it delivers.

Stay tuned—the complete review drops soon!
