Red Cat Introduces Hellcat™
Red Cat unveiled Hellcat™, a new dual-use small unmanned aircraft system built on the proven Black Widow™ platform and designed for rapidly evolving operational environments. Introduced at Eurosatory 2026, Hellcat incorporates feedback from warfighters and lessons learned through Red Cat’s ongoing partnership with Ukraine, delivering a flexible, modular platform designed to support a broad range of global defense and security missions.

Red Cat Attends Eurosatory
Red Cat participated in Eurosatory 2026, one of the world’s premier defense and security exhibitions, engaging with military leaders, government officials, and industry partners from across Europe and allied nations. The event provided an opportunity to showcase Red Cat’s expanding Family of Systems approach and discuss evolving requirements for autonomous solutions across air and maritime domains. Red Cat’s presence at the exhibition further strengthened its international visibility and supported ongoing efforts to expand relationships in key global defense markets. Stan Nowak, Vice President of Marketing at Red Cat, discusses the company’s Family of Systems approach and key takeaways from Eurosatory 2026 in this video interview.

International Order: NATO Ally Selects Black Widow™ Through NSPA
In March 2026, a NATO ally selected Red Cat’s Black Widow™ small unmanned aircraft system through a competitive tender facilitated by the NATO Support and Procurement Agency (NSPA). Delivery of an undisclosed number of systems is scheduled for 2026. Each system includes two Black Widow aircraft, a ground control station, and other mission-critical components, further expanding Red Cat’s presence among allied defense forces operating in contested environments.

Red Cat Acquires Quaze Technologies
Red Cat acquired Quaze Technologies, a developer of wireless power transfer technology for drones, robots, and autonomous systems. Operating as an independent Red Cat business unit, Quaze will continue to develop its platform-agnostic wireless power technology while also enabling integration across Red Cat’s Family of Systems to support longer-duration autonomous operations across air, land, and maritime environments and to reduce reliance on manual battery swaps and traditional charging infrastructure.

Manufacturing Expansion: Blue Ops Partners with HADDY
Red Cat’s maritime division, Blue Ops, announced a strategic relationship with HADDY to bring advanced robotic 3D printing and distributed manufacturing capabilities to its facility in Valdosta, Georgia and globally. The collaboration is expected to effectively double manufacturing capacity for Blue Ops’ uncrewed surface vessels (USVs), accelerating production timelines and supporting the company’s ability to scale maritime systems development and deployment.

Partnership: Kymeta Joins Red Cat Futures Initiative
Kymeta joined the Red Cat Futures Initiative to support resilient connectivity for autonomous maritime operations. Through the collaboration, Red Cat’s maritime division, Blue Ops, will integrate Kymeta’s communications technology into its Variant 7 uncrewed surface vessel (USV), enabling reliable communications on the move and supporting more advanced autonomous and distributed maritime missions.
