As Eurosatory 2026 reached its third day at the Paris Nord Villepinte Exhibition Centre, the focus shifted decisively toward multi-national collaboration, artificial intelligence integration, and autonomous technology. Industrial partnerships and strategic agreements took center stage as defense ministries and private firms adapted to high-intensity conflict requirements.
A major highlight of the day was a new aerospace and electronic warfare partnership. Safran Electronics & Defense signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Hemeria to develop advanced electromagnetic intelligence solutions.
•The Project: The collaboration will equip a stratospheric balloon (provided by Hemeria) with high-tech sensors integrated with artificial intelligence models developed by Safran.AI.
•The Objective: The system is engineered to detect, identify, and analyze radar and communication signals across land, air, and maritime domains from high altitudes.
