The SureFire Maximus^™ Vision is a rechargeable variable-output LED headlamp that delivers 450 lumens of warm-colored light — similar to that produced by tungsten lamps. Light output is continuously variable from 1 lumen to its maximum of 450 lumens. The Maximus is powered by an internal lithium-ion battery. The battery chargers from both wall-type AC outlets and 12-volt DC vehicle. The charging accessories are included. Surefire includes a fuel gauge on the headlamp that gives battery charge status, and a long-running SOS beacon for emergency use if needed. The housing is built from lightweight magnesium.
