Awarded by the professional press and the ANVAR (National Agency for the Promotion of Research), the Netarm cleaning kit has been used by the French army and by PGM Precision for more than 30 years. It has also been used by the German army for more than 15 years.
The concept is simple: the fuse puller is inserted into the muzzle of the barrel and exits through the chamber of the weapon. The wick is then positioned on the end of the wick puller which comes out through the chamber. All you have to do is pull on the handle while holding the barrel firmly, and you’re done.

Featured updates to the product line include the updated design of the upper receiver and the adoption of the M-LOK® mounting system for the handguard. The two position, adjustable gas block was updated to a paddle style and is now located inside the rail, easily accessed to select suppressed or unsuppressed. Directly descended from rifles developed by LWRCI™, the ICMKII delivers the same defining features and quality manufacturing, customers rely on from LWRCI™.

The LWRCI™ proprietary Short-stroke Gas Piston operating system delivers unmatched reliability in extreme conditions and is easy to maintain. The MKII features include a monoforge, one-piece upper receiver The ICMKII is still manufactured with industry leading fully ambidextrous operating controls including the bolt catch, bolt release, magazine release and safety selector, as well as the charging handle. All controls can easily be accessed and utilized on either side of the entire IC line. The IC-MKII retains the LWRCI™ signature cold hammer forged spiral fluted barrel, nickel boron coated bolt carrier, LWRCI™ Skirmish™ BUIS, and LWRCI™ compact stock and pistol grip.

Diamondback Firearms Introduces 9mm and 3” SDR Revolvers at Shot Show 2025
(Cocoa, FL) – Diamondback Firearms, creator of high-quality firearms and industry-leading components, is excited to introduce the Diamondback SDR (Self Defense Revolver) in both 9mm as a snub nose and .357 magnum in a three-inch barrel. The entire SDR revolver family has a 6-round capacity with a push-button cylinder release. This allows for faster loading and casing ejection. EAGLEVILLE, PA, January 17, 2024 – Streamlight® Inc., a leading provider of high-performance lighting and weapon light/laser sighting devices, launched multi-fuel models of its TLR-8® line of laser-equipped tactical weapon lights, designed to provide extreme brightness in tactical situations, while also offering users USB or disposable battery options. The new lights include the TLR-8® X with red laser and the TLR-8 X® G with green laser for full-size and compact railed handguns, and the TLR-8® X sub with red laser and the TLR-8® X G sub with green laser, available to fit select GLOCK®, SIG SAUER®, Springfield Armory®, and many 1913 short railed subcompact handguns.
All models of these new lights deliver 500 lumens and offer customizable rear switches that provide ambidextrous operation.
“These new lights, like their originals, are designed to maximize shooters’ weapon platforms in a variety of home defense and tactical applications,” said Streamlight President and Chief Executive Officer Ray Sharrah. “The red laser models maximize visibility and long-range targeting capability, while the green laser versions improve users’ ability to focus on targets during daylight, as the color green appears brighter to the human eye than other colored lasers. And all models are multi-fuel, giving users the choice of using either a CR123A lithium battery or Streamlight’s cost-saving SL-B9® USB-C rechargeable battery pack, depending on availability or user preference.”
Each of the new lights uses a high-power white LED that delivers 5,000 candela and 500 lumens over 141 meters and features a custom optic with a focused beam that optimizes peripheral illumination. The TLR-8 X and TLR-8 X sub include a 640-660nm red aiming laser, while the TLR-8 X G and TLR-8 X G sub feature a 510-530nm green aiming laser. All are powered by either one 3-volt CR123A lithium battery or one 850mAh Li-Ion USB-C rechargeable SL-B9 battery pack which charges via a USB-C cord or optional bank charger. Both types of batteries can be installed or removed through the face cap, eliminating the need to remove the light from the weapon.
The new models offer three lighting modes, LED Only, LED/Laser Combined, and Laser Only. Run times are 1.5 hours in LED Only or LED/Laser mode and 60 hours in Laser Only mode using a CR123A battery. With the SL-B9 battery pack inserted, run times are one hour in LED Only or LED/Laser mode and 36 hours on the Laser Only setting.
These lights feature a one-handed, snap on and tighten interface that keeps hands away from gun muzzles when attaching or detaching them. A key kit is also included to securely fit the lights to the broadest array of handguns of any light on the market.
The new models are constructed with 6000 Series machined aircraft aluminum with a black anodized finish and feature a BOROFLOAT® impact and scratch-resistant lens. The TLR-8 X and TLR-8 X G each weigh 2.64 ounces with a disposable battery, and 2.74 ounces with the SL-B9 battery pack; they measure 2.58 inches in length. Using a disposable battery, the TLR-8 X sub and TLR-8 X G sub models each weigh 2.77 ounces, and 2.87 ounces with the SL-B9 battery pack inserted. They are 2.51 inches in length. Featuring impact-resistant construction, the new models have an IPX4-rated design for water-resistant operation.
Both the TLR-8 X sub and the TLR-8 X G sub are available in four different models to fit GLOCK® 43X MOS/48 MOS and GLOCK® 43X/48 Rail subcompact handguns; the SIG SAUER® P365® and P365® XL; the Springfield Armory® Hellcat®; and select 1913 short railed subcompact handguns including the Smith & Wesson® M&P® M2.0®, Beretta® Px4 Storm, Springfield Armory® XD-E™, XD-S® and Hellcat® Pro; Heckler & Koch® HK45, and SIG SAUER® P365® XMACRO.
The TLR-8 X and TLR-8 X G have MSRPs of $412.92 and $505.62 respectively, while the MSRPs for the TLR-8 X sub and TLR-8 X G sub models are $389.55 and $477.00 respectively. All models come with Streamlight’s Limited Lifetime Warranty.

A modern reimagining of the timeless ’37 Sod Buster® Jr., pocket knife, the new XR version is designed with its original frame and slip joint mechanism, plus updated, premium features such as rugged burlap laminate, G-10 and natural wood handle materials and a stonewashed S35VN stainless steel Skinner blade for ultimate edge retention and durability. NSSF Praises U.S. Sen. Steve Daines’ FIND Act Introduction
WASHINGTON, D.C. — NSSF®, the Firearm Industry Trade Association, welcomed the introduction of S. 137, the Firearm Industry Nondiscrimination (FIND) Act, in the U.S. Senate by Sen. Steve Daines (R-Mont.). The bill has 21 original co-sponsors. This vital legislation will end the ability of corporate entities from profiting from taxpayer-funded federal contracts while discriminating against a Constitutionally-protected industry at the same time.
“This legislation is critical to ensuring ‘woke’ corporations don’t use their financial might, funded by taxpayers, to deny essential services to the firearm industry,” said Lawrence G. Keane, NSSF Senior Vice President and General Counsel. “Corporations, in particular financial institutions, have been dictating public policies from boardrooms that throttle firearm businesses, which are Constitutionally protected. This bill will no longer allow those corporations to benefit from taxpayer dollars while at the same time using those funds to deny Americans their Second Amendment rights. We thank Senator Daines for his leadership to ensure fairness in business, reasserting Congress’s role in ensuring the federal government isn’t picking winners and losers in the marketplace based on politics and protecting the ability of a lawful industry to compete for services without artificial and agenda-driven barriers.”
Sen. Daines’ FIND Act does not tell companies with whom they must do business. However, just as companies can chose who they wish to do business with, so can the government when it spends taxpayers money. This bill ensures corporations cannot benefit from contracts and subcontracts funded by taxpayers only to use their financial strength to unfairly discriminate against the firearm industry. For far too long, corporations have engaged in “boardroom gun control” to force firearm businesses to adopt measures that would restrict Americans’ Second Amendment rights. Corporations are free to hold these anti-Second Amendment policies if they choose but would forfeit access to lucrative federal contracts.
Similar laws have been enacted in nine states. Sen. Daines’ legislation would bring those same fair business protections to the federal government to ensure corporate entities are not forcing policies that deny American civil liberties through the benefit of taxpayer-funded federal contracts. Companion legislation, also supported by NSSF, was introduced in the U.S. House of Representatives by Congressman Jack Bergman (R-Mich.) as H.R. 45, with the same title.

NSSA and NSCA Partner with NSSF’s First Shots Program
WASHINGTON, D.C. – NSSF®, The Firearm Industry Trade Association, is pleased to announce that the National Skeet Shooting Association (NSSA) and National Sporting Clays Association (NSCA) have become official partners of NSSF’s First Shots® program, the introductory and refresher target-shooting program made available through host target-shooting ranges across the country.
NSSA is the world’s largest organization dedicated to the clay-target sport of skeet shooting. As the official governing body of skeet shooting, NSSA promotes this fun and challenging sport to participants of all ages and sanctions competitions throughout the country.
Similarly, NSCA is the official governing and sanctioning body of sporting clays shooting, sometimes known as “golf with a shotgun” because of its course designs and varied shooting stations and target presentations. NSCA works to develop the sport with all levels of participants.
To kick off this new partnership with First Shots, NSSA and NSCA have planned a First Shots introductory event at the National Shooting Complex—the home grounds for NSSA and NSCA—for their staff and friends and family at the end of January. The event will provide a hands-on example of how First Shots works to build new and safe target shooters. As Nathan Boyd, NSC Assistant Director/Project Manager said, “Attend First Shots, and let’s go shooting!”
“The partnership between NSSA and NSCA and First Shots is a natural given how much these organizations already do to introduce newcomers and novices to clay-target shooting, firearm safety and competitive shooting,” said Zach Snow, NSSF Director, Member Development. “Clay-target sports are fun, social and ideally suited for spending a great day at the range shooting with friends. More and more Americans want to learn about recreational shooting, and First Shots has been designed to assist them by providing education in the classroom or in the field and time on the range.”
By providing educational experiences that are safe, fun and memorable, First Shots partners and host ranges are having great success in attracting first-timers, further engaging new gun owners and in reactivating lapsed participants. Surveys show that more than 43 percent of First Shots participants are converted to target-shooting enthusiasts, demonstrating that First Shots is fulfilling a need for providing a supportive environment to those who want to know more about recreational shooting and firearm ownership.

NSSF Praises U.S. Rep. Rob Wittman’s Protecting Hunters and Anglers Act Introduction
WASHINGTON, D.C. — NSSF®, The Firearm Industry Trade Association, praises U.S. Rep. Rob Wittman’s (R-Va.) introduction of H.R. 556, the Protecting Access for Hunters and Anglers Act, which would prohibit U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service (USFWS), Bureau of Land Management (BLM) and U.S. Forest Service (USFS) from banning the use of traditional lead ammunition and tackle absent approval by the applicable state fish and wildlife department and proof that lead ammunition and tackle is primarily causing wildlife population decline.
Conservation policies must rely on peer-reviewed, sound scientific evidence to ensure abundant wildlife populations and public land access is perpetuated for future generations. The policies lack that evidence. They show no causational link of detrimental wildlife population impact link to traditional ammunition. Rather, these policies put an antigun and anti-hunting agenda ahead of science and risk the primary funding source for wildlife conservation in America today.
“This legislation is tremendously important to protect the primary funding for wildlife conservation in America,” said Lawrence G. Keane, NSSF Senior Vice President and General Counsel. “Firearm and ammunition manufacturers have paid over $29 billion, when adjusted for inflation, since 1937 and that has been the leading funding source of wildlife and habitat conservation in America. Efforts by bureaucrats to limit or eliminate the use of traditional lead ammunition and fishing tackle puts those conservation funds at serious risk by increasing costs and creating barriers to participation in outdoor recreation.”
NSSF denounced the USFWS Final Rule it published in 2023 that offered sportsmen and women a “bait-and-switch” deal to open hunting and fishing opportunities on eight National Wildlife Refuges (NWRs), but banned the use of traditional lead ammunition and fishing tackle. The Final Rule offered no scientific evidence of detrimental population impacts to support banning the use of traditional ammunition, despite promises by the Biden administration to “follow the science.”
Firearm and ammunition manufacturers pay a 10 and 11 percent excise tax to the Wildlife Restoration Trust Fund, commonly referred to as the “Pittman-Robertson excise tax.” The firearm and ammunition industry was directly responsible for $886.5 million Pittman-Robertson taxes of the $1.3 billion apportioned to the states through the USFWS for state conservation and education programs in 2024 alone. Since its inception in 1937, the firearm and ammunition industry has paid over $29 billion into the fund, when adjusted for inflation.

H.R. 404, the Hearing Protection Act, which would remove firearm suppressors from the list of definitions under the 1934 National Firearms Act (NFA), eliminating onerous and duplicitous background checks. Instead, what is essentially a muffler for a gun would be regulated under the 1968 Gun Control Act (GCA) with the same background check that is required for a retail firearm purchase. The legislation would also amend the statutory suppressor definitions to eliminate ambiguity that might lead to the criminalization of lawful firearm accessories.
“Congressman Cline’s Hearing Protection Act will have the federal government recognize firearm suppressors for what they are. These are accessories to a firearm that make recreational shooting and hunting a safer experience,” said Lawrence G. Keane, NSSF Senior Vice President and General Counsel. “These safety devices reduce the report of a firearm to a level that won’t cause instant and permanent hearing damage. Despite Hollywood’s depictions, they do not mask the sound of a firearm. The focus should be on removing barriers to safe and responsible use of firearms and dedicating resources to ensuring firearms are safeguarded from those who should never possess them. Strict regulatory control of firearm accessories, and the parts of those accessories that have no bearing on the function of a firearm, is unnecessary and not the wisest use of federal resources. NSSF thanks Congressman Cline for his leadership for ensuring safe and responsible use of firearms and dedicating necessary resources where they are most needed.”
Firearm suppressors, legally but inaccurately referred to as “silencers,” are devices that reduce the report of a firearm from a level roughly equal to that of a jet taking off which causes instant and permanent hearing loss to one that is safe, but still equal to a jackhammer. That decibel level will not permanently damage hearing. Suppressors work similar to a car’s muffler, redirecting exhaust gases and was originally patented over 100 years ago by the same designer of car mufflers, Hiram Maxim.
Under current law, an individual purchasing a suppressor must locate a retailer that is regulated as a NFA Class III retailer, complete a Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) Form 4 with the model and serial number of the suppressor, and obtain two passport photos and fingerprint cards from a local police department. The local chief law enforcement official must receive a completed copy of the application. Then the form, photographs and fingerprints must be sent to ATF along with a check to pay the $200 tax. The customer can obtain the suppressor from the NFA Class III retailer upon an additional background check through FBI’s National Instant Criminal Background Check System (NICS).
Congressman Cline’s legislation would eliminate those requirements and make suppressors available with the same paperwork, markings, record keeping and background check approval that is required for a firearm. It would also clarify the definition of suppressors, ensuring that components like mounts, baffles and end caps are not erroneously classified as standalone suppressors or “silencers.”
