Comprised of 154CM steel, the Fray is intended for strenu ous outdoor cutting activities. Lead engineer Brian Zelus elaborated, “Our goal was to create a useable, no-nonsense cutting tool. Knife ergonomics, along with a quality retention sheath, were the most deliberate engineering aspects of the Fray. Balancing appearance, function, and precision machining were critical to the design process. Perfection does not happen without extensive research and development.”

The Fray offers a lifetime of use with supreme comfort to boost cutting power and reduce fatigue. Both tanto and clip point styles come with thumb ramp jimping and an integral finger indent. The tail end of the grip also features added jimping for traction when used in an ice pick hold. A 1/8” thick paracord wrap weaves through tactically placed slots in the knife frame. Paracord can be used for lashing and has a multitude of survival uses varying from hunting to first aid. An auto retention sheath delivers graceful ambidextrous carry and release. Rapid deployment requires minimal thumb pressure and the knife easily snaps into place when not in use. To increase functionality, the sheath can be horizontally or vertically carried on waist belts and harnesses.

America Wept at the Tragic Loss in El Paso, TX and Dayton, OH

It’s Friday and time for our weekly shoot the shit. If there was ever a need for a good shoot the shit it’s this week. As regular readers know, it’s the only thing that will keep you from running to a jackass who studied psychology so he or she could understand themselves.

The tragedies in Dayton and El Paso are the personification of derangement, and our hearts go out to the victims, their families and friends. Those who survived will be scared for life. The only good news came from Dayton, OH were some outstanding cops neutralized the threat and in the process prevented the gene pool from being contaminated. The El Paso police took the miscreant into custody, and undoubtedly, by now, they’ve surgically implanted a psychologist on him, in an effort to understand his motivation. I sat and as I watched police take the suspect into custody remember whishing the officer’s handgun would accidentally discharge hitting the suspect in the snot locker, but this is America and everyone is entitled to due process; Texas will end up supporting this genetic defect for 28 years while his attorneys appeal.

Even more disheartening was listening to Democrat politicians jump on the “assault weapon” bandwagon before the victims were laid to rest. These people actually started fundraising on the event! Other than BETO, who isn’t too stupid but closer to four stupid, the one politician that gets my boob prize was  Nan Whaley.

Now, Nan who is probably a great lady, splendid conversationalist, sews her own clothes, cooks and even cleans house comes out and says that the perpetrator didn’t kill the people; instead, she continues saying the assault weapon pulled the trigger. I’m sure she didn’t really mean to say that but it’s a pretty strong sign that she’s been sitting on the back of a Harley too long.

To satisfy my own curiosity I decided to look up crime stats for Dayton.

Quite frankly, Mayor Whaley, residents of Dayton need assault rifles!

So, as usual, law abiding gun owners are once again subjected to a circus orchestrated by opportunistic politicians who’s sole interest is advancing an anti-gun agenda. These individuals actually wanted to legislate just hours after the two incidents. If you’re paying attention, you’ll realize that the focus is not on solving a complex problem but rather ban guns.

Mayor Whaley claims that the assault rifle pulled the trigger, while the media alleges that President Trump’s order to fly the flag at half-mast until 8/8 is a Nazi salute. The moron advancing that theory, NBC News and MSNBC contributor Frank Figliuzzi, former FBI assistant director for counterintelligence, speaking with anchor Brian Williams this week says:

“The president said that we will fly our flags at half mast until August 8th. That`s 8/8. Now, I`m not going to imply that he did this deliberately but I am using it as an example of the ignorance of the adversary that`s being demonstrated by the White House,” he began.

“The numbers eight eight are very significant in neo-Nazi and white supremacy movement,” he said. “Why? Because the letter H is the eighth letter of the alphabet, and to them the numbers 8/8 together stand for Hitler. So we`re going to be raising the flag back up at dusk on 8/8.”

I think the President should schedule a flag ceremony for 6,15 which can be decoded as F/O or fuck off, which is precisely what you as voters and donors should say to political avarices and their  allegations of racism, white supremacist and Nazi.

 Have a wonderful weekend and don’t let this crap get you down. These self-serving individuals want you to believe that Americans are living in fear – they’re not!

Swiss U-space Deploys National Flight Information Management System for Drones (FIMS)

Today, AirMap and the Swiss air navigation service provider skyguide, in partnership with the Swiss Federal Office of Civil Aviation (FOCA), announced that they have deployed the Swiss U-space flight information management system for drones, referred to as the FIMS.
The FIMS is an aviation data exchange hub that connects skyguide’s air traffic management system to UAS Service Providers (USPs) with open interfaces to support safe and compliant drone operations in low-altitude airspace. The FIMS deployment represents a critical milestone in the development of the Swiss U-space Implementation (SUSI) program, Switzerland’s drone traffic management network infrastructure.

HENSOLDT Supplies Upgrade for Turkish Preveze Class Submarines

Oberkochen, Germany, August 5th, 2019 – HENSOLDT will upgrade the vision equipment used by the Turkish Navy’s Preveze Class submarines to state-of-the-art technology. The contract is worth approximately 40 million euros. For the first time, two SERO 400 systems will be combined.

The four Class 209 submarines were built and commissioned in the 1990s. HENSOLDT will supply a total of eight SERO 400 periscopes, all of them with thermal imagers as add-on units.

The order was placed by the Turkish company Savunma Teknolojileri Mühendislik ve Ticaret A.Ş. (STM), which has the overall responsibility for the upgrade programme. “This is already our third project with STM. Collaboration with our Turkish partner has been very successful, not only in the case of the AY modernization program involving our SERO 250 for the Turkish Navy, but also regarding the Agosta upgrade,” said Klaus Rettenmaier, Head of Naval Systems in HENSOLDT’s Optronics Business Line. “The decision to combine two SERO 400s was made in view of the commonality with the Turkish New Type Submarine Program (NTSP).”

Therein, HENSOLDT is supplying a combination of the OMS 100 optronics mast system and the SERO 400 periscope for the REIS Class submarines. In addition, HENSOLDT is also supplying the equipment for the periscope workshop in Turkey, including special tooling. This means that, as a result of the continued deployment of the SERO 400, synergies will arise not only in the area of operating and training, but also in maintenance.

Workshop held at Reno Guns & Range and introduced the gun culture to attending mental health professionals. WTTA board member and instructor, Rob Pincus, also provided an intro shooting instruction.

(August 2019) – Walk The Talk America (WTTA), a non-profit organization working to foster relationships between firearms companies and firearms owners with the mental health community, and their partner, Zephyr Wellness, a Reno, Nevada-based counseling agency, held the first of a series of seminars at the Reno Guns & Range on July 25, 2019.The event, entitled “At the Intersection of Guns and Mental Health,” introduced mental health professionals to the gun culture in an effort to open a dialog between gun owners and mental health practitioners.

Michael Sodini, founder and CEO of WTTA, kicked off the inaugural workshop and Zephyr Wellness co-founder and clinical director, Jake Wiskerchen, addressed the full house on issues facing both the mental health and 2nd Amendment community and ways to bridge that gap, bringing about increased awareness, and developing resources to help people in need.

“I could not be prouder of what we are doing or more pleased at how the training went. The attendees all reported that they got a lot out of it and are looking forward to more classes,” Wiskerchen commented. “Our aim is to do a full-blown certificate program sometime in the near future so that gun owners will be able to identify clinicians who welcome and affirm their needs without stigma or judgment.”

Rob Pincus, WTTA board member, professional firearms trainer, author, and consultant, gave attendees shooting safety and instruction and the opportunity to shoot handguns at Reno Guns & Range’s new state-of-the-art, redesigned, full-service, indoor shooting and training facility.

Female Sexuality and the 2020 Presidential Candidates

How was your week? I hope it was productive for you all and that you’re looking forward to a fun and relaxing weekend. For us, it’s time  for our weekly shoot the shit.

A shoot the shit, is a social event where everything and anything can be discussed, normally by people who know absolutely nothing about the topic. Participants are free to make unsupported statements, use uncensored profanity, insult anyone they wish or change the subject at will. It’s the alternative to Facebook, Instagram and other social media apps that have been destroying our ability to interact with one another and producing genetic defects like the Gilroy Garlic Festival shooter. I’ve been to the Gilroy Garlic Festival several times; it’s a wonderful way to spend your day.

A shoot the shit also replaces a visit to a psychologist, someone who studied psychology so they could understand themselves,  and who will soak you for $150 an hour for something that you can accomplish in a good shoot the shit. How do you know you have a good shoot the shit going? Everyone is shouting and trying to talk over the next person and they all want to keep it going. Try it, you’ll feel great, I guarantee it. So let’s get started.

Female sexuality is a topic that’s been taboo for way too long. For years, women have never openly referred to their clitoris or vagina. In fact, most women have named their vaginas. For example, I’ve been turned down for sex by a partner saying that Louise is busy tonight. What the hell does that mean? There’s a real need for women to freely express their desires. I was overseas, when I first encountered an uninhibited expression of female desire when asked, by a gorgeous French-Moroccan woman, to stimulate her using my toes!

In this video Annette Young of France 24 takes you through the growing movement, led by courageous women, to bring to an end the repression of women’s sexual desires. It is a worthwhile 10 minutes, on a touchy and sometimes difficult topic.

I’ve been sitting through the Democrat debates and I must say in all candor that what Democrats have going is an epic Chinese fire drill, orchestrated by Congresswoman Ocasio-Cortez and Congresswoman Tlaib. It was interesting to see that BETO is completely sure that the world will come to an end in 10 years and not 12.

Engineered from the inside out to check all the boxes on the long-range riflescope wish list, MONARCH M5 illustrates Nikon’s Optics First principle as it pertains to the development of its optics. The highly efficient, 4x zoom optical system in the MONARCH M5 was created with the explicit goal of delivering a brighter, sharper, higher contrast sight picture for the times it’s vitally needed—just as the first hint of light appears, or the last vestiges disappear into the darkness.

Flying Safely Near Wilderness Areas

AirMap Partners with Tread Lightly! and U.S. Forest Service to Address Safe and Compliant Wilderness Drone Use

Drones aren’t just for cities and suburbs. They are becoming powerful tools for wildlife research and conservation, especially in previously inaccessible habitats where nature and wildlife abound. Unfortunately, if not flown responsibly by authorized personnel, drones can be a disturbance to wildlife, causing acute or chronic stress to an animal’s health and wellbeing.

AirMap has partnered with the United States Forest Service (USFS) and Tread Lightly!, the national nonprofit for the promotion of responsible recreation, to educate drone users about designated fly zones over public lands as part of Tread Lightly!’s “Respected Access is Open Access—Drones” campaign.


Drone operators can use the AirMap for Drones application for iOS, Android, and Web to find designated fly zones as well as areas where drone use is restricted. By being aware of these designated fly and no-fly zones, drone operators can stop the impact of drones to wildlife before they even start.

Machined from a billet of stainless steel and heat treated for enhanced durability, the Apex Heavy Duty Striker works in all current models of the FN 509, as well as the FNS and FNS Compact pistols. It is available now for pre-order with orders scheduled to begin shipping on Tuesday, August 6.
The new Apex Heavy Duty Striker is easy to install, utilizing the following components of the factory striker assembly: striker spring stop, striker spring stop pin, striker return spring and striker spring guide.
