Effective Tuesday, March 17th, 2020 our local California counties have enacted a “shelter in place” order— the strictest measure of its kind in the country. Coronavirus Update
We want to keep our colleagues, employees, suppliers and customers—especially the all-important law enforcement officers and agencies we serve—regularly updated on the status of our business operations during this international crisis. As of this post (17 March):
Shipping: We are in a good inventory position, with minimal manufacturing/supply disruptions, and are continuing to ship orders with few if any delays. Of course, this is a very fluid situation and may change based on demand or changing events, but at this point it is business as usual in terms of our ability to supply. We recognize—and take very seriously—the role we play in making sure that public safety professionals have the equipment they need to safely perform their duties, and are doing everything we can to ensure that they do.
Staffing: As important as our obligation is to our customers, of course we must also look after the health and safety of our employees. We are implementing a carefully-designed, strategic staffing plan that balances the need to maintain business operations with the need for safe interpersonal separation. Through a combination of shift structuring, physical space planning, remote work and other options at our disposal, we are confident that we can manage both our responsibility to emergency service workers and our responsibility to our own people and those around them. It is also our intention to ensure continuity of income to our employees regardless of modifications to business schedules or hours worked.
Customer support: Whether in the office or working remotely, we are here to support our Dealers, Distributors, agencies, officers and others in need of our help. Though we will have people answering phone calls, we recommend and request that customers reach us by email whenever possible. Specific contact notes:
Training and travel: Early in this crisis, we began canceling or postponing all offsite meetings and training (ASP Instructor Certification, ASP Trainer Certification) programs. Currently all are postponed through August, and we are continuously monitoring and reviewing the situation. We know that officers and agencies want and need the training we provide, but clearly this was the right decision. We have also instituted a no-travel policy for all of our employees. We very much look forward to being able to start rescheduling our training programs and our in-person business meetings as soon as it is safe to do so.
In short, to the extent that we can foresee it, ASP is equipped and prepared for continuity of operations through this difficult period. We will continue to keep you updated as appropriate, and hope you will all stay healthy and safe.

The new Spigot Mount from Anarchy Outdoors provides an upgraded bipod attachment point for select Accuracy International AE, AT and AW rifle systems including the AWM and AW50. Models are available for bipods that attach to either Picatinny or Arca Swiss type rails. Rather than mount the bipod to the bottom of the stock, the Spigot Mount positions the bipod closer to the bore axis and further toward the muzzle by extending out from the front of the stock rather than the bottom. This results in greater stability and accuracy. All versions of the Spigot Mount are machined from a single piece of 6061-T6 Aluminum and are Type-III hard coat anodized black. This one-piece bipod mount replaces the Accuracy International factory bipod “block” held within the square tube forend to provide the user a rigid bipod attachment point.

FORT SMITH, AR (March 13, 2020) – Umarex USA continues blazing the path to deliver innovation, adventure and performance at an attractive price with the new Umarex Fusion 2 CO2 powered bolt action air rifle. The original Umarex Fusion pellet rifle was a CO2 powered bolt action design that was very popular for backyard plinking and quiet pest control. Umarex has carried over the best aspects of the original Umarex Fusion and added to it a re-designed SilencAir muzzle device, a nine-shot rotary magazine, a flexible CO2 power system, and an all-new stock design.
The original 
Umarex Fusion was popular because of its accuracy, quietness, and compact design. These three elements remain the bedrock to which Umarex began their revamp of this classic rifle. The first thing shooters will notice about the Umarex Fusion 2 is how quiet it is. Umarex re-worked the SilencAir for better performance and a bold look. The repeater revolution that began in the pre-charged pneumatic category is finding a home in other rifle based platforms as well. The Umarex Fusion 2 proudly features one of the best designed rotary magazines in the industry. The Fusion 2 magazine is 
extremely easy to load and holds nine .177 caliber pellets. To load the magazine, insert a pellet into the first open space in the cylinder and rotate the magazine cylinder counter-clockwise. The original Umarex Fusion was powered by two 12-gram CO2 cartridges and that is still true of the Fusion 2, but with a twist: the Umarex Fusion 2 uses a removable 12-gram CO2 adapter that can be set aside if the shooter wants to use a single 88-gram CO2 cartridge. The Fusion 2 offers shooters the best of both worlds in powering convenience. Shorter shooting sessions can 
be done with economical 12-gram cartridges or a longer shooting session can be powered with a single 88-gram cartridge. Shooters can expect around 70 shots from a pair of 12-gram CO2 cartridges and around 250 with a single 88-gram cartridge.
While these big changes are offering shooters quite the bang for their buck, it must also be stated that the Umarex Fusion 2 comes with a 4X32 scope which mounts to an integral Picatinny style rail. The Fusion 2’s ergonomic stock has grip serrations on the fore-end and a raised cheekpiece that make getting a solid cheek weld a piece of cake for just about any shooter. The Umarex Fusion 2 also has a manual safety that is recessed into the stock just above the trigger on the right side. This oversized lever has a 90-degree throw for positive engagement and disengagement of the safety. The recessed positioning also means the safety is protected from accidental disengagement.
At the end of the day, Umarex wants shooters to find an air rifle that works for them. The Umarex Fusion 2 is an air rifle that will compel the whole family to get together and put in some valuable trigger and family time. An Important Update About BLADE Show
The BLADE Show team is continuing to monitor all information from federal, state and local governments regarding large public events to make the best decisions about the status of the event.
At this time, the federal government has recommended that no events exceeding 50 people take place in the next 8 weeks. BLADE Show is set for three weeks after that deadline, and therefore can take place. However, there is much uncertainty surrounding this virus. That timeline could change.
Refunds: In The Event of a Cancellation Only
Options currently under review include keeping BLADE Show on its regularly scheduled dates or postponing to allow for more time for the virus to curtail. Once a final decision is made, you will receive notice through official communication channels, including newsletters, websites, social media, etc. At that time, we will outline any refund policies in the event of a cancellation ONLY.

Hoping For The Best
It is certainly the team’s hope that BLADE Show will go on and provide an opportunity to connect with friends new and old.
Many of you know me as an artist. Many of you know me from my marketing business. Many won’t know me at all. With the scene in America, it’s time I said something.
Let me preface this by making clear that I’m not saying to be unprepared. I was a Boy Scout — I’m always prepared. We should be prepared for the unpredictable— tornadoes, hurricanes, etc. We should be ready to take care of ourselves, our families and friends.
But last night, I saw someone in true fear from this “pandemic”. They were alone. I could see it in their face, their eyes. It was silent panic. They needed reassurance.
Enough is enough.
As you read this, you should know who’s reading this, too. This is going out to many tens of thousands including many members of the U.S. Government, tens of thousands of our nation’s Law Enforcement, news and media organizations, artists, businesses, charitable organizations, the “Left”, the “Right”, all races, all politics. Many Americans nationwide will be reading this concurrently.
What I want to say is this: For the amount of actual death that has occurred, this “pandemic” has been blown way out of proportion. The Mainstream Media is having a field day. There is much missing, omitted and even false information. This is a “created” hysteria. Any good or positive news is missing or even ignored. This is fearmongering on a whole new level. While we all should obviously take precautions and be prepared, I think we need a reminder.
Here is the truth — For those old enough to have lived through 9/11, this was not only an American tragedy but the entire world lived through it with us. This was a planetary wake-up call. In a single day, everything changed. Of course we all know many thousands of people died, a new war began, rights diminished. But what else happened?
Despite what news, TV or movies make people believe, in the aftermath of 9/11, it was not pandemonium. People did not turn into cannibals or kill their fellow man in desperation. In fact, it was the opposite. There was no Left or Right. No black or white. No Republicans or Democrats. Just people. Just Americans. Unknown citizens emerged as heroes. The world poured help into New York City. People pulled together.
I remember this very clearly and it showed me the truth. People are good. They are decent. They help each other. They care. They do not need to be “forced” to help — they will just help. People will rise up in difficult times and care for others. Despite a few bad seeds, the vast majority of people are good. In my lifetime, 9/11 was the best reminder of this truth.
Movies, TV, and much of modern media is entertainment. The division of the American people is a pretense, and the evidence is 9/11.
My message is to not forget who we are. We’re Americans. We will take care of each other. This is who we are and it is what we do. For sure we should be prepared. We should be vigilant. Everything is going to be okay. We should all relax a bit knowing this truth.

Although plaintiffs have not proven their claims, SIG SAUER has reached an agreement to resolve a class action lawsuit alleging that P320 pistols manufactured prior to August 8, 2017, have the ability to fire when the pistol’s slide and barrel are in an unlocked condition. The plaintiffs in this lawsuit claim that the inclusion of a mechanical disconnector in the design of the P320 pistol after August 8, 2017, a feature which is also included in the free Voluntary Upgrade Program (VUP) provided to all owners of P320 pistols manufactured prior to August 8, 2017, prevents the P320 pistol from firing in this condition.
SIG SAUER denies plaintiffs’ claims. By entering into this agreement, SIG SAUER is not admitting that any of plaintiffs’ allegations have merit, and plaintiffs have not proven their claims. In fact, it is SIG SAUER’s position that the design of the P320 pistol – both pre-upgrade and post-upgrade – prevents the P320 pistol from firing in an unlocked condition. SIG SAUER has conducted extensive testing of both the pre-upgrade and post-upgrade P320 pistols to confirm its position that the pistol will not fire with the slide and barrel in an unlocked condition.
In late 2017, SIG SAUER implemented an upgraded design of the P320 pistol to enhance the safety and performance of its P320 model pistol. All P320 owners who purchased a pistol prior to the design change are able to have their P320 pistols upgraded through the P320 Voluntary Upgrade Program (VUP). The upgraded design and implementation of the VUP was designed to further enhance the drop safety of the P320 model pistol. Although the P320 pistol met and exceeded all U.S. safety standards, it was discovered during additional testing beyond those standards that in some cases, under very specific conditions, the P320 pistol could discharge if dropped at a specific angle. Additionally, as part of this design upgrade, a mechanical disconnector was added to the P320 pistol to enhance trigger feel and consistency, as well as to prevent a “dead trigger” condition when the trigger has been pulled with the slide retracted. Although this disconnector serves as a redundant safety against the pistol firing in an unlocked condition, it is not its primary function and is not necessary to prevent such occurrences.
The SIG SAUER P320 pistol continues to meet and exceed all industry safety standards, and it is safe to carry and use in both the pre- and post-upgrade versions, when handled in accordance with the operator’s manual. However, to avoid the uncertainty and high costs of further litigation, SIG SAUER has reached an agreement to resolve this case. The forms attached below describe the rights which current and past P320 pistol owners may have under the terms of this agreement. If this agreement is finally approved by the court, these individuals may be entitled to certain benefits, including continued availability of the P320 VUP free of charge, a lifetime warranty against specific kinds of damage to the firearms, and a potential refund of amounts previously charged to repair firearms or replacement of unrepairable pistols. Please review these documents carefully to determine whether you may be eligible to submit a claim for such benefits.

During the last several days, we have learned more about the coronavirus (COVID-19) and have been closely monitoring its impact on our world. For Beretta, that means understanding how it affects our employees, customers, and communities.
We have one simple goal: keeping you and our employees safe.
With that in mind, we are taking the necessary initiatives to adjust our work and operations by implementing precautionary measures to increase protection of our customers and employees.
We are basing our actions on the Center for Disease Control and OSHA guidelines and recommendations on the steps we can take to help prevent the spread of the virus.
We have shared specific instructions with our employees on the importance of staying home if they feel sick or are returning from an area of the world identified as posing a coronavirus-related risk. Per CDC recommendations, we will ask employees who have traveled to such locations or have been exposed to others who have traveled to such locations to self-quarantine for 14 days.
We are ramping up cleaning services at our locations and will be providing hand sanitizer and asking our employees to wash their hands thoroughly and frequently as a further precaution.
We will also be making masks available to our employees to enable them to reduce the likelihood they will touch their mouth or nose and thus increase the means by which the COVID-19 virus might be spread.
Effective immediately, we have directed our employees to minimize physical contact with other employees and with our customers. As an example, they shall refrain from shaking hands. In addition, while we recognize that some contact with our products and packaging during purchasing transactions is inevitable, we have directed our employees to avoid as much unnecessary physical contact as possible and utilize tools to protect you and themselves such as gloves, masks, and disposable cloths.
While there might be reduced face-to-face interactions with our employees and some changes in the processes, our business facilities at this point continue to operate, our factory, gunsmithing operations , and warehouse are open and we will continue to serve you.

Should remote work become necessary, NFA Division will do their best to minimize disruptions and continue processing transfers as accurately and efficiently as possible. For those of you who recall the government shutdown in early 2019, any coronavirus related disruptions will be far less impactful.
ASA commends ATF for being proactive in their approach to the coronavirus. We will continue to monitor the situation and provide relevant factual updates as they become available.

We would like to address questions we have been receiving regarding COVID-19 and how it will impact our business and customers. Being located in the state of Washington, we are at the forefront of the fight against this virus and are subject to some major changes being made by our local government, including yesterday’s decision to close down K-12 schools for the next 6 weeks. We will try to keep this quick and concise as it relates to you.
First and foremost, our top priority is the wellbeing of our employees, their families and loved ones. We are a family first business and will treat this situation with that mindset. Accommodations are being made for those who’s families are affected by the changes here in WA.

NEWTOWN, Conn. — The National Shooting Sports Foundation®(NSSF®), the firearm industry trade association, presented its R3 Leader of the Year Award to Jenifer Wisniewski, Chief of Outreach and Communication with the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agencyduring a sponsored lunch at the 85th North American Wildlife and Natural Resource Conference in Omaha, Nebraska.
In her current role, Wisniewski is responsible for recruitment, retention and reactivation (R3) efforts that have allowed her agency to realize year-over-year license sales increases for six years running. Wisniewski is also the President of the Association for Conservation Information, where she is introducing R3 to industry communicators, the chair of the marketing working group for the Council to Advance Hunting and the Shooting Sports, and the chair of the Association of Fish & Wildlife Agencies outreach working group that created the Making It Last toolkit. Wisniewski was an early promoter of NSSF’s National Shooting Sports Month® and is currently testing a “Refer a Friend” licensing campaign.
“We are in exciting times with the advancements in R3 and are realizing some substantial gains in license sales with what we have learned so far,” said Wisniewski. “I am excited and honored to be the recipient of NSSF’s R3 Leader of the Year award and look forward to working with the industry to grow participation in hunting and target shooting.”
NSSF’s Director of Research and Market Development, Jim Curcuruto, presented the award, noting, “Jenifer has been a leader in the R3 world for many years. We appreciate her efforts, as well as those of many others who are working to learn about and implement successful R3 techniques.”

I’ll tell you how bad the situation is, consider the psychological conditioning imbedded in one of the Peloton ads. I’m referring to the ad that features two women with the following ad line: “…after a hard day, can you take a hard twenty…”. Now you are totally convinced that your manhood is lacking making their diagnosis correct. Remember that a psychologist is an individual who couldn’t pass the M.C.A.T. (Medical College Admissions Test).
Holy bat shit readers, can you believe what’s going on around this country of ours. When it comes to the Coronavirus it’s important to understand that the mortality rates of 2-4% is based on the best information available. Here’s what that means.
If you only know of 1000 people infected with the virus and 20 of those perish then we say its mortality rate is 2%, but in reality the actual number of those infected with the virus is much larger but are either asymptomatic or experiencing no more than flu symptoms, they have not been included in the calculation because we don’t know they exist. So, you are more likely to contract a case of the clap than be infected with Corona provided you use reasonable care. So why all the panic? Media hype aided by a group of politicians trying to instill fear in the population in order to undermine the President of the United States. So as they say in Hawaii, “TAKE IT EZ ALREADY EH YOU.”

They have a population of approximately 1.5 billion people, and they have an active chemical and biological weapons development program, they are accelerating expansion of their military and increasing space assets with a proposed colonization of the dark side of the moon. They want to replace the United States of America, so they will not hesitate to destroy our economy, just pay attention to what’s happening with our medical response to corona. They have used their huge market to lure American companies into the country. Part of that deal is the theft of technology. I know of companies who developed network routers and sent them out to China for manufacture. Five months later they saw the same router enter the U.S. market at 50% the price and under a different brand.They are also conducting industrial espionage using Chinese university students in US schools.
China has the capability to strike at the United States using cyber to disrupt all services including medical. They also have the capability to strike at the U.S. with biological weapons. If we respond with a nuclear strike and kill 300 million Chinese, the remaining 1.2 billion will have a better life. They can literally replace our entire population along with the EU’s.
As extreme as this sounds, and it is, as a country we need to have our eyes wide open and our heads out of our ass and fully oxygenated when it comes to dealing with the Chinese Communist Party at any level.
Having said that, shift those sweat pumps into low speed. Have a great weekend and relax, but if you wake with sniffles remember that it could be pollen.

MasterPiece Arms introduced its most revolutionary chassis configuration yet, the MPA Matrix Chassis, in the fall of 2019. This is an enhanced version of MPA’s highly successful BA Chassis System. With a multitude of configurations in grips, thumb rests and trigger finger supports, the primary interface between the shooter and the rifle (the grip) has over 100 different variations. The MPA Matrix Chassis features five different grip options (three swept and two vertical), three different thumb rest designs and four different trigger finger supports. It also has M-LOK slots along the side of the chassis forend and barricade stop holes along the bottom of the forend. The non-profit Team 5 Medical Foundation sets off on a five month, five continent expedition to bring medical relief across the globe, supported by donations from individuals and companies like Tasmanian Tiger®.
Miramar, Fla. (March 2020) – Tasmanian Tiger®, a tactical nylon line of products distributed exclusively for the US market by Proforce Equipment, Inc., and Silver Sponsor for the Team 5 Medical Foundation, has donated $25,000 to support their five month, five continent expedition around the world to bring much needed medical care to hard-to-reach populations.
The Team 5 expedition “Deploying for Humanity,” was the brainchild of Team 5 Medical Foundation founder, Eric Linder, to “deploy, explore new locations that have been overlooked, forgotten or undiscovered. Then, break bread with village elders and leaders and learn the culture and gain trust with them.” The volunteer teams will also inspect and inventory clinics and medical facilities, provide mini-clinics for local healthcare providers, generate information on demographics, patient assessments and needs of the community. As part of their initiative, Team 5 members will also gather information for partners working with clean water initiatives and human trafficking. Once all the information is gathered and reviewed, Team 5 will return in 2021 to the hosting village with surgical and medical plans in place, including providing medications, surgery, and educational courses.
The Team 5 volunteers comprised of a doctor, PA/RN/SF medics, Veterinarian, Logistics, translators, and cameramen are currently in Guatemala, where they begin their journey. From there, the teams will venture to Costa Rica; Columbia, South America; Nepal, India; Israel; Ethiopia, Kenya and Somaliland, Africa; Australia, Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, Cebu and finally, Alaska. Team 5’s travel blog will provide up-to-date information on locations, peoples, and situations throughout the next five months.

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. – March 10, 2020 – The Decatur, Texas Police Department has deployed the FACT Duty™ Weapon-Mounted Camera (WMC™) in the field. Police Chief Rex Hoskins, Captain Delvon Campbell and officials from Minnesota-based Viridian Weapon Technologies will give a short news conference on the impact of the new technology. The news conference will take place at 10:00 AM at the Decatur Conference Center (Great Hall) located at 1910 West US HWY 380, Decatur, Texas 76234.
Decatur’s announcement comes on the heels of a high-profile trial in Vernon, Texas just last month. For the first time, footage from Viridian’s gun camera was used in an officer-involved shooting (OIS) trial, and a jury quickly convicted the defendant of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon on a public official. The WMC provided the critical evidence in the case by showing the defendant pointing a sawed-off shotgun at Vernon Police Corporal T.J. Session during an exchange of gunfire in which both Corporal Session and the defendant were shot and wounded.
“The Weapon-Mounted Cameras now in use by our department better prepare them for the dangers and realities facing police officers today,” said Decatur Police Chief Rex Hoskins. “The FACT Duty provides a perspective different from any other cameras available today. We saw this when we first learned of the cameras, and last month’s trial in Wilbarger County was very compelling reinforcement on why we want it for our officers.”
