Henry Repeating Arms Returns to Racing for Darlington Throwback Weekend

RICE LAKE, WI – April 29, 2021
A classic race serves as the perfect backdrop for Henry Repeating Arms, with the American manufacturer of classic rifles and shotguns kicking off its third season of partnership with Stewart-Haas Racing (SHR) on May 8 in the NASCAR Xfinity Series race at Darlington (S.C.) Raceway.

On Saturday of the Official Throwback Weekend of NASCAR, Henry Repeating Arms will be the primary sponsor of driver Riley Herbst and his No. 98 Ford Mustang with a throwback paint scheme tribute to SHR co-owner Tony Stewart.

Stewart is a member of the NASCAR Hall of Fame. He earned three NASCAR Cup Series championships and won 69 races across the Cup, Xfinity and NASCAR Camping World Truck Series. The first three of those victories came in 1999 when Stewart was a Cup Series rookie. The paint scheme Herbst will run at Darlington mimics the design of Stewart’s orange-and-white car during that incredible season where Stewart finished fourth in the championship and ran away with the rookie-of-the-year title.

“I can’t wait to drive this throwback scheme for Henry Repeating Arms at Darlington,” said the 22-year-old Herbst, who was born 10 days after Stewart made his Cup Series debut in the 41st Daytona 500. “Tony had a lot of success with this design during his rookie season, and if just a little bit of that success can rub off on us, we’ll take it. Darlington is a tough track where any little bit helps.”

Recap: Anthony Bourdain's 'Parts Unknown' Visits Lagos, Nigeria | Condé Nast Traveler

The weekend is upon us and I hope you’re planning on a couple of meritorious R&R days; doing whatever floats your boat. There’s not much to crow about in this political climate, but on the up side, the pandemic is coming to an end, the country is opening back up, with a few exceptions, so things should be getting back to normal. Hang in there and keep those sweat pumps in low speed.

In all of my shoot the shit pieces, I’ve taken potshots at the behavioral sciences that’s because I feel the group as a whole is poorly regulated and the most inept bunch of “professionals” in the country. You are much better served by scheduling or participating in a shoot the shit. You may not know this, but a large percentage of psychology majors chose the field so they could understand themselves. The estimate is that about 60% of psychology majors fall under this group. If you went to a psychologist and told them that you’ve been talking to the devil, they’d want to know what he said to you and the conversation would inevitably get around to penis size as they touch their crotch. Now compare that to a shoot the shit.

A shoot the shit is a social interaction during which any subject can be discussed by participants who need not know anything about the subject, are free to make any unsupported comment, use uncensored profanity, insult anyone they wish or change the subject altogether. So, if you were to be party to a shoot the shit and say that you were speaking to the devil you’d hear “get the fuck out of here, you are so full of shit go beat your meat.” At the end of that feedback, you would no longer think you and the devil had been chatting.

On several occasions, I’ve identified the states with the highest number of per capita psychologists as California, New York and Pennsylvania ( around the Philadelphia area). Let me demonstrate what I see as evidence that psychologists will hose you up.

The picture on the left is of Italian actress Asia Argento, a babe x 2. I love her $10K worth of ink; in fact, I’m going to see if George Clooney will introduce me. Once I do my Arnold Schwarzenegger impersonation for her she’ll be mine. She probably cooks too!

Continuing… in the 90’s she was allegedly raped by Harvey Weinstein, but, she too was accused of sexually assaulting actor Jimmy Bennet, age 17, in a California hotel room, circa 2013.

Now, Jimmy Bennett reported that in their encounter Argento gave him alcohol, performed oral sex on him and had sexual intercourse with him. Apparently Jimmy sued and Asia ended up arranging a $380,000 nondisclosure settlement with Bennett. Why in God’s name would someone sue for that! Apparently when Asia came out against Harvey Weinstein Bennett said “it stirred memories of his own experience in 2013.” How many of you would sue Asia Argento because she gave you a drink, head and a hump? Are you kidding me! Bennet must have been seeing a therapist; that’s the effect of psychology. Had Jimmy been attending a shoot the shit, the participants would want to know if he experienced a perfect vacuum or what she had for crotch tattoos.

I don’t know if you know this but she was Anthony Bourdain’s main squeeze, they got together in 2017. Anthony was a chef and journalist known for his Parts Unknow Show which was a must watch for me, Bourdain mooched more fantastic meals than anyone I’ve seen. Sadly, Anthony Bourdain committed suicide by hanging in 2018 while in France.

The video below is a detailed treatise of Bourdain’s “suicide” I think there is a simpler explanation. Asia liked to wear the t-shirt on the right and it’s entirely possible he misinterpreted its meaning!

(April 2021) – MasterPiece Arms (MPA), manufacturer of the MPA BA Rifles and Chassis Systems, is proud to announce five new long-range shooting competitors will be joining Team MPA for the 2021 competitive precision rifle shooting season. The latest additions to MPA have been running MPA products for years and include Tracy Lewis, Lauryl Akenhead, Corson Piper, Matthew Caruso, and Keith Rudasill.

“These outstanding shooters are excellent ambassadors to our sport, show exemplary sportsmanship, and are top performers in National and Regional Precision Rifle Series (PRS) and National Rifle League (NRL) matches. For several years, Lewis has been running MPA Chassis and Rifles. Her shooting performances have increased significantly since she started shooting PRS and include four Top Lady wins, the MPA GA Season Top Lady title, and another Overall 2^nd Place finish just in 2020 alone.

“To say I’m excited for 2021 is an understatement! I am so happy to be able to represent MPA and thank them for this opportunity,” Lewis said.

Early in 2020, one of the MPA Team Shooters, Allen Abisia, told Cashin about a talented young shooter in Virginia he had been training. His eye for talent was spot on. Akenhead started shooting One and Two Day PRS matches in 2020 and her performances have been outstanding. She has won Top Junior Shooter in six PRS matches and Top Lady in four matches, including the National MPA Summer Shootout, all in the past 12 months. She is also a speaker for Second Amendment rights and was selected as the Virginia 4H Shooting Ambassador.

“I’m extremely excited to be joining Team MPA this year and I can’t wait to get the 2021 season started,” remarked Akenhead.

Piper lives in the Pacific Northwest and has been running MPA Chassis for several years. Having experience with road racing, Piper is used to pushing the limits and his shooting performance reflects this competitive spirit. In 2020, he had two wins at Regional Matches, multiple Top Five finishes, multiple 3^rd Place finishes in the Rifleman’s Team Challenge Series, and placed Top 10 at the Blueridge AG Cup Match.

“I am honored to be chosen to shoot for Team MPA and humbled to be included as part of such a talented group of competitors. I have been using MPA chassis for over three years now and they know how to deliver a top-notch product. Thank you for the opportunity!” Piper commented.

Caruso has been involved in PRS for several years and has quickly become one of the top shooters in the country. With multiple top regional and Two Day National Match finishes, he is a great ambassador for the sport.

Rudasill has been running the MPA chassis for multiple years. Recently, he won the MPA Spring Shootout 2 Day PRS National Qualifier match at Arena Training Facility located in Blakely, Georgia.
