Galco’s versatile Ironhide™ belt holster offers ambidextrous design as well as quick on-off capability. Suitable for casual concealment and outdoor sportsman’s carry, it carries a large handgun high and close to the body.
The Ironhide secures a semiautomatic pistol with a combination of hand molding and a reversible retention strap with a glove-friendly polymer tab. Release the strap and the pistol is cleared for a fast, smooth draw. The retention strap accommodates both hammer-down and cocked-and-locked carry on 1911-type pistols.
The Ironhide allows right or left hand carry by unsnapping the holster from the belt slide, moving the belt slide to the opposite side of the body, reversing the retention strap, and reattaching the holster. The holster body can also be quickly detached from the belt slide, should the carrier need to enter a “non-permissive environment” and temporarily store the handgun.

NSSF Hails Rep. Barr’s ‘Fair Access to Banking Act’

NEWTOWN, Conn. – The NSSF^®, the firearm industry’s trade association, applauded U.S. Rep. Andy Barr’s (R-Ky.) introduction of the Fair Access to Banking Act. The much-needed legislation will pick up where the Fair Access to Financial Services Banking Rule left off, which was proposed by the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency until the Biden administration “paused” publication of the finalized rule.

The bill is companion legislation to U.S. Sen. Kevin Cramer’s S. 563, of the same title, that was introduced last week. The Fair Access to Banking Act would require banks to provide access to services, capital, and credit based on the objective risk assessment of individual customers, rather than subjective broad-based decisions affecting whole categories or classes of customers.

The Fair Access to Banking Act would stop corporate banks from picking winners and losers based on executives’ personal politics. It also protects banks from outside pressure by special interest groups seeking to use the banks as a political weapon to advance their agenda.

“Congressman Barr’s ‘Fair Access to Banking’ bill is vital to ensure financial services aren’t discriminating against lawful industries like the firearm industry to score points with the ‘woke’ cancel culture. This legislation will ensure financial institutions, when deciding whether or not to offer services to fully legal and lawful businesses, make such decisions based upon verifiable financial data and not on the political or social views of a few bank executives,” said Lawrence G. Keane, Senior Vice President and General Counsel for the National Shooting Sports Foundation. “The banking industry has benefited from taxpayer bailouts and taxpayer-funded insurances, and it is unacceptable that these same banking institutions believe they can arbitrarily deny services to legal, constitutional businesses such as our industry, which gainfully employs millions of Americans and helps guarantee the right to keep and bear arms. The firearm industry thanks Representative Barr for his leadership to guarantee all legal and regulated American companies have fair and uniform access to financial services.”

Corporate banks have privatized “Operation Choke Point,” the illegal discrimination scheme that was begun under the Obama-Biden administration. The Department of Justice and Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation-led effort, directed financial institutions to deny entire industries access to services, including the firearm industry. Despite being a constitutionally-protected industry, the Obama-Biden administration illegally coerced banks to end existing business relationships and deny new ones.

After the illegal practice was ended under the Trump administration, banks and special interest advocates simply privatized this scheme by adopting policies that specifically denied firearm businesses financial services for being in the business of selling certain types of lawful firearms. They forced these discriminatory practices while exploiting taxpayer-funded resources like FDIC insurance protections.

Constipation Could Lead to Erectile Dysfunction

You’ve made it through another week and marked the one year anniversary of COVID19 lockdown and all of its problems. It’s been difficult and stressful. Kids are remote learning, you’re probably dealing with business difficulties or a variety of financial pressures. But, you’ve been listing to me and avoided seeing a therapist; otherwise know as a jackass who studied psychology so they could understand themselves. They may even have a psychiatrist prescribe antidepressants, such as the selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor fluoxetine (Prozac) or tricyclic antidepressants such as amitriptyline (Elavil) both of which have been known to cause constipation.

As you struggle to overcome your constipation, you pay a visit to your primary care physician who prescribes Movantik (normally used for opioid induced constipation), which its television ad suggests that a possible side effects is erectile dysfunction. You then would need to seek out some Acoustic Wave Protocol delivered in a series of short painless treatments to the penis using pulsating acoustical sound waves.

“Singles are masturbating more, 66% masturbating more than once per week — up from 53% before the pandemic”
“The most popular sex toy purchases during the pandemic for women were clitoral stimulators and vibrating dildos.
“For men, the most popular toys were handcuffs/restraints and dildos”

These finding may have you considering a change of residence.

New York City Health Recommends:

If you make a living from sex work, the guide suggests utilizing technology instead of in-person dates by setting up “sexy ‘Zoom’ parties,” chat rooms, or a subscription-based platform (such as “OnlyFans”).
Or, If you’re doing it through a wall or via video chat isn’t really your style, the guide recommends wearing a face covering during physical interactions or masturbating with your partner instead. If you’re not wearing something over your face during sex, be wary of heavy breathing and panting, since those behaviors could further spread the virus.

ALLTEC of Brazil and Rafael sign MoU on Add-On Armor Solutions

Tel Aviv – March 10, 2021 – Earlier this month, ALLTEC Composite Material of Brazil and Rafael Advanced Defense Systems of Israel signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for cooperation on passive add-on armor solutions, their maintenance and life cycle support.

Rafael’s Add-On Reactive Armor and Passive Armor defends against a wide range of threats such as anti-tank rockets, small firearms, AP projectiles, high-speed fragments of artillery, mortars, and high explosives.

Under this MoU, ALLTEC and Rafael will cooperate on business opportunities and projects for the supply of passive add-on armor solutions from STANAG Level 4 and above, its maintenance and life cycle support for the Brazilian Ministry of Defense and auxiliary forces.

NSSF Announces How Industry Benefits from Firearm and Ammunition Excise Tax Payments

With support from an AFWA grant, new study reveals long-term value to industry and firearm owners alike

NEWTOWN, Conn. – Each year firearm and ammunition manufacturers pay millions of dollars in excise taxes into the Wildlife and Sport Fish Restoration (WSFR) program that result in long-term benefits to industry, target shooters and hunters. A new study, announced by the National Shooting Sports Foundation, reveals how these payments—some $792 million in 2020 alone—provide not only bedrock funding for enjoyment of the shooting sports but also a major return on investment for industry.

With support from a grant awarded by the Association of Fish and Wildlife Agencies’ (AFWA) Multistate Conservation Grant program, a new report titled “Benefits & ROI of Wildlife & Sport Fish Restoration Funds” highlights for industry leaders the financial returns their businesses receive from investing in the WSFR program.

WSFR is funded by a 10-11 percent tax on firearms, ammunition and archery equipment paid by the manufacturers, along with similar excise taxes on fishing and boating equipment. These funds are distributed by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service to their state agency counterparts to invest in conservation and recreational access programs that benefit hunters, target shooters, anglers and boaters. The excise taxes on shooting sports equipment date to 1937 when the Pittman-Robertson Federal Aid in Wildlife Restoration Act was passed by Congress, establishing a model of conservation funding that eventually would lead to significant expansion of hunting and shooting opportunities nationally.

“Manufacturers and other businesses frequently ask about the importance and effectiveness of the excise tax program. The findings of this study clearly show that decades of sound investment, wildlife management and conservation, and increased recreational access have significantly helped the shooting sports industry grow to where it is today. The excise tax program is an investment in the continued growth of our industry,” said NSSF President and CEO Joe Bartozzi.

Produced by Southwick Associates, the report provides multiple examples of how the excise tax program benefits industry. Two specific examples include:

The public shooting range located within Oklahoma’s Lexington Wildlife Management Area is about an hour south of Oklahoma City and offers thousands of visitors opportunities to enjoy target shooting. Total estimated spending by target shooters on excise tax-related items is an estimated $1.7 million annually. With annual excise tax investments for range improvements averaging $307,000, industry is receiving a 358 percent return.
When North Carolina’s turkey season re-opened in 1977, only 144 birds were harvested. By 2018, over 17,000 turkey were being harvested annually. This is just one of many success stories across the country about the restoration of populations of game species.

Industry investments in WSFR lead to a leveraged cycle of benefits, with investments made in one year often generating benefits for many years to come. In addition, the federal Pittman-Robertson legislation prohibits states from diverting hunting and fishing license dollars away from their fish and wildlife agencies as a condition of benefitting from P-R funds , further protecting sportsmen’s dollars. As a bonus, every three excise tax dollars must be matched at least by a dollar from a non-federal source, further strengthening the value of the tax dollars paid into the program.

“The important thing for industry leaders to know is that their excise tax payments provide real, lasting benefits for the industry, funding more and more hunting and recreational shooting opportunities which translate into greater sales,” noted Bartozzi.

AMBASSADOR ACADEMY GRADUATES FULL CLASS

TULSA, OK – (March 9, 2021) – The annual Ambassador Academy, presented by professional shooters and brand ambassadors Ryan and Dianna Muller, proudly announce 16 recent graduates. Held at the West Orlando Firearms Training facility (W.O.F.T.) in Florida, students learned to become more effective industry influencers and successful representatives for their partners and the overall firearms community.

“To counter the culture war, it boils down to education,” said Dianna Muller. “If our side doesn’t know how to effectively influence their friends, their families, and their communities, it’s up to us to equip ourselves and create better communicators of our message. Ambassador Academy training is for more than just sponsored shooters. It focuses on communication, media, and relationship skills that anyone can use.”

After five days of instruction from subject matter experts, students departed with new concepts in many topics. Social media was taught by TJ Kirgin and Beth Walker; filming and editing from Tim Johnson of Blue 42 Agency. They were able to get first-hand experience at hostile communications with journalist and media specialist Catherine Mortensen. Students were in the hot seat practicing answers to questions like, “Why does anyone need an AR-15?”. They also received on-camera interview techniques from David Lombardo, whom you might recognize from hosting SHOT Show TV and On Target Radio. Matt Mallory from Meet the Pressers instructed on podcast interviews.

Students also participated in world-class personal safety training unique to W.O.F.T. Low-light situational awareness to real-world, force on force scenarios were tackled in their state-of-the-art facilities. This year, there was a special treat on the live fire portion of the class. World-renowned champion, Lena Miculek, was the live fire instructor, but her father, Jerry Miculek, toggled between being a student and an instructor. He even gave the students a surprise one afternoon. Regarding his experience as a student, the senior Miculek said, “I didn’t know what to expect from the class, but there were many great takeaways! Practicing the hard questions was pretty good timing given the attacks on guns and all the censorship that is happening.”

The academy boasted three professional photographers who captured headshots, action photography, lifestyle images, and product shots. Dave Weaver, who was with the Associated Press for over 20 years, was the lead photographer. The students departed with all their images from the photoshoots, including headshots, lifestyle, action, and candid shots from the class.

“You can see why the training is five days long,” said Ryan Muller. “We crammed a lot of content in there and told the students up front they would feel like they were drinking from the fire hose!” He was the chef for the class and provided breakfast and lunch daily.

Marketing Coordinator

The Murray Road Agency seeks a master multi-tasker with excellent communication skills for the role of Marketing Coordinator. Candidates should be proficient with excel, data/resource management platforms, publishing software and other common creative and communication programs. The Marketing Coordinator should also be a proficient written and verbal communicator and project manager able to handle a variety of tasks and items and also be comfortable with/knowledgeable of the outdoor/shooting industry.

Responsibilities:

Proficiency in MS Office, with exceptional knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
Working knowledge of cloud sharing, Google Docs, and Drobox
Knowledge of project and task management tools such as Basecamp, Trello and Monday
Scheduling meetings and appointments and preventing conflicts.
Taking notes and minutes in meetings
Preparing documents for meetings
Processing and directing mail and incoming packages or deliveries
Writing and issuing emails to teams on behalf of teams or senior staff
Researching and booking travel arrangements
Finding ways to improve administrative processes
Support marketing executives in organizing various projects
Employ marketing analytics techniques to gather data (social media, web analytics, rankings etc.)
Update spreadsheets and databases.
Assist in the organizing of promotional events and attend them to facilitate their success.
Compose and post online content on the company’s website and social media accounts
Learning and working with various types of software for digital marketing.
Understanding client product and brand.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business or related field.
2-3 years of experience.
Administration or sales and marketing experience.
Proven writer with editing skills/experience a plus.
A high level of attention to detail.
Ability to work effectively within a team and independently.
Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Good organization skills.
Related job and internship experience.
Digital marketing experience.
Demonstrable ability to multi-task and adhere to deadlines
Good knowledge of market research techniques and databases
Experience with the outdoor industry, hunting, and firearms a plus

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. – March 8, 2021 – The FACT Duty^® Weapon-Mounted Camera (WMC^®) from Viridian Weapon Technologies has recorded another officer-involved shooting. Viridian representatives have been informed that the gun camera footage of the incident, which occurred on February 26, is proving to be an important asset in the investigation. The WMC addresses limitations officers can face with body cameras. Body and dash cameras were not designed to capture officer-involved shootings. NDIA cheers Senate extension of Section 3610 in CARES Act

ARLINGTON, VA – The National Defense Industrial Association applauds the Senate for overwhelmingly passing, in a 96-3 vote on Saturday, an amendment to extend Section 3610 of the Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security Act as part of the $1.9 trillion relief package.
The amendment, co-sponsored by Sens. Mark Warner (D-VA) and Marco Rubio (R-FL), gives agencies funds to cover certain contractor costs and to keep skilled personnel and workers in a ready state during the COVID-19 response through the end of the fiscal year.
The Arlington, Virginia-based NDIA worked with multiple stakeholders to support the passage of this legislation. On Thursday, March 4, a letter signed by small-business CEOs<https://www.ndia.org/-/media/sites/policy-issues/small_business_letter_3610_extension_final.ashx> – including ML Mackey, chair of NDIA’s Small Business Division and CEO of Beacon Interactive Systems – on behalf of the small businesses NDIA represents, went to Senate and House small-business committee leadership. The letter emphasized the importance of the authorization to small businesses in the national security complex.
“Without the ability to draw on 3610 authorities, many companies could be forced to terminate many of [their] employees,” the letter stated. “Many others, fearing disruptions to their incomes, would leave of their own accord to find more stable employment in the commercial sector. Because it is difficult and time-consuming to replace employees with specialized skills or security clearances, our companies’ future ability to support critical government missions would be hindered without 3610 authorities.”
This followed the efforts of the week before by NDIA and nine other organizations<https://www.ndia.org/-/media/sites/policy-issues/3610_multiassociation_extension_request_letter.ashx> to highlight the authority’s continued use by many federal agencies to maintain the capabilities and workforce necessary to meet mission needs and protect our national security and other vital programs.
“Extending 3610 and safeguarding the defense industrial base workforce is critical to our national security today and, more importantly, into the future,” said Hawk Carlisle, NDIA president and CEO. “NDIA is thankful to lawmakers for understanding the criticality of this authorization to government contractors and the skilled, cleared workforce that delivers for our warfighters.”

FAA Selects Five Host Airports to Test and Evaluate Unmanned Aircraft Detection and Mitigation Systems

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) today selected five host airports to evaluate technologies and systems that could detect and mitigate potential safety risks posed by unmanned aircraft. The effort is part of the agency’s Airport Unmanned Aircraft Systems Detection and Mitigation Research Program.

The FAA selected the following airports:

Atlantic City International Airport in Atlantic City, New Jersey
Syracuse Hancock International Airport in Syracuse, New York
Rickenbacker International Airport in Columbus, Ohio
Huntsville International Airport in Huntsville, Alabama
Seattle-Tacoma International Airport in Seattle, Washington

These airports meet FAA requirements for diverse testing environments and represent airport operating conditions found across the United States.

The research will lead to the implementation of new technologies that will make airports safer for passengers and manned aircraft. Researchers plan to test and evaluate at least 10 technologies or systems at these airports. Testing will begin later this year and continue through 2023. It will create standards for future unmanned aircraft detection and mitigation technologies at airports around the country.

The FAA Reauthorization Act of 2018 requires the agency to ensure that technologies used to detect or mitigate potential risks posed by unmanned aircraft do not interfere with safe airport operations. The FAA does not support the use of counter-UAS systems by any entities other than federal departments with explicit statutory authority to use this technology, including requirements for extensive coordination with the FAA to ensure safety risks are mitigated.

He recently caught up with Keith Bernkrant, a second time, to see what’s new at EAA Corp.

From the popular MC312 Sport Shotgun with optics to Tanfoglio and Girsan products, Bernkrant discusses products in the works, including Girsan’s new MC9 Optics pistol with FAR DOT. EAA Corp.’s future plans for the Girsan line include producing Girsans (exception will be the Regard pistol line) with no optics adaptor plate; instead, the slide will be machined for optics. The MC9 Optics pistol is the first product of the new production change that incorporates the proprietary optic solution in the FAR DOT sight. Bernkrant spoke to how EAA Corp. is extremely involved in the design of products, including the new sights and how they integrate with the guns. The FAR DOT sight system has resolved the problem of finding the dot; therefore, the user does not have to raise their head off the gun sightline, making for quick target acquisition and repeat shots. Bernkrant also alluded to the future of FAR DOTs being illuminated for low to no light use.

Although 2021 promises to be challenging, Keith Bernkrant informed the CloverTac listeners that EAA Corp. was busy working on a new optic pistol and long gun options, double-stack 1911’s and new 10mm pistol models.

SIR They’re Mooning Us!

TGIF! We’ve made it through another week. It has not gone unnoticed that we haven’t had a shoot the shit for a few weeks and I sincerely hope you haven’t resorted to seeing a therapist; who, by the way, are salivating over the COVID lockdowns and the corresponding surge in victims, I meant patients, who haven’t figured out that a psychologist is a jackass who majored in psychology so they could understand themselves. Believe me, I understand the emotional toll these lockdowns have taken; however, all of it can be effectively dealt with a bit of exercise and shoot the shits.

So, what’s a shoot the shit? It is a social interaction during which any topic can be discussed. Participants don’t need to know anything about the subject, they are free to make unsupported comments, use uncensured profanity, insult anyone they wish or change the subject altogether. The efficacy of a good shoot the shit will amaze you and as importantly it will save you $150+ per hour that you can use for other things.

I’ve got to tell you that things are so screwed up that it’s hard to come up with a good topic. The morons that mounted an assault on the U.S. Capitol scared the poop out of the Democrats who want to permanently militarize the Washington D.C. area. The authorities have gone from requesting .50 caliber M2HB machine guns to having the National Guard permanently remain there. The latest intelligence, was suggesting that the U.S. Capitol would be attacked today by extremists, who remain unnamed by the Capitol Police, in the interest of intelligence security. Hopefully the FBI did more than intercept a couple of rednecks self-actualizing.

Well, Thursday has come and gone and the only assault we may see on 6 March may look something like this …

Somebody needs to get a handle on this thing and get the U.S. Capitol back to being The People’s House and not a militarized compound! It would be so nice to have adults in Congress. I’m waiting for the Capitol Police to request antiaircraft missile batteries – in case extremists plan mounting an aerial assault.

As much as possible have a great weekend. Do yourselves a favor and keep your sweat pumps in low speed. Make yours and your kid’s lives better by having family shoot the shits, they work.
