Granbury, TX (May 13, 2021) – Bond Arms designed the “Protect the 2nd Amendment” handgun as a testament to what they believe – every citizen has the right to bear arms. The Bill of Rights enshrined this constitutional right in 1791. Today, however, the 2nd Amendment is under attack! Bond Arms joins the fight to protect the 2A with a distinctive model—the PT2A.
The bold and beautiful PT2A handgun packs a double punch, protecting American gun owners in two ways. First, Bond Arms donates a portion of each PT2A’s sale to organizations fighting for gun owners’ second amendment rights. Secondly, like all Bond Arms’ handguns, Americans can trust their lives to the compact, powerful PT2A for personal protection.
The PT2A inherits the premium features found on all Bond Arms, including stainless-steel barrels and frame, cross-bolt safety, retracting firing pins, spring-loaded cam-lock lever and rebounding hammer – essential elements in a modern derringer.
The Protect the 2nd Amendment has a 4.25″ long barrel providing tighter shot patterns, higher velocities and even more manageable recoil than shorter barrels. The PT2A is customizable, accepting all Bond Arms’ standard interchangeable barrels from 2.5 inches to 6 inches long.
Buying a PT2A leaves no doubt as to where you stand on the 2nd Amendment. Engraved on the flats of the octagonal handgun barrels’ right side are the words “The right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed”; on its left side, “In God We Trust” – both statements Bond Arms’ believes and lives by each day. The model’s name, PT2A, is laser etched on the frame’s side and directly below the fixed rear sight. An ornate, extended rosewood grip, laser engraved with the stars and stripes overlaid with “2nd A” and finished in high gloss, adds character to this unique derringer.
Bond Arms chambers the PT2A in .38SPL/.357MAG or .45LC/.410 Bore. Any of these cartridges are solid choices for self-defense, with the .410 bore option capable of shooting the powerful 3-inch .410 shells stoked with either birdshot or buckshot. The gun’s automatic spent casing extractors expedite reloads.
Carry your pistol in style with its included BAD premium leather driving holster. White stitching accents this custom wet-molded holster, while an embossed “2nd A” mark proudly touts the constitutional right to bear arms.

BOND ARMS, INC. is located in Granbury, Texas and manufactures the award-winning Bond Arms Derringer – the finest in double barrel protection. Originally organized under the name Texas Armory, the company became incorporated as Bond Arms in 1995 with the idea that the Remington Model 95 over-under, single-action derringer could be converted from an Old West anachronism into a modern & reliable handgun. The barrel and frame were redesigned to safely fire modern calibers & the entire handgun is constructed entirely from stainless steel. This makes for a pistol that’s both strong and durable. FAA Awards $898.9 Million in Airport Improvement Grants
WASHINGTON – The U.S. Department of Transportation’s Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) announced the award of more than $898.9 million in infrastructure and safety projects through the FY2021 Airport Improvement Program (AIP). This total includes $113.5 million in American Rescue Plan Act funding to award all grants at a 100-percent federal share.
“Investing in our nation’s infrastructure is how our country helped spark an aviation industry that now supports millions of jobs,” said U.S. Secretary of Transportation Pete Buttigieg. “These Airport Improvement Program grants will help modernize America’s airports and ensure that our air transportation system remains the safest and most efficient in the world.”
Grant projects funded through the Airport Improvement Program promote safety, efficiency, environmental stewardship, infrastructure, and security at the nation’s airports. Today’s announcement includes 488 grants to 447 airports in 49 states and American Samoa, the Northern Mariana Islands and Puerto Rico. Today also marks the 75th anniversary of the legislation that established federal investment in our Nation’s airport infrastructure.
“These grants represent the legacy and vital role of airport infrastructure grant programs in helping the air transportation system operate safely,” said FAA Administrator Steve Dickson. “Investing in our nation’s infrastructure through AIP grants is a cornerstone of our commitment to safety.”
Examples of airports receiving grants for projects in this round include:
Glendale Municipal, Glendale, Arizona, $1.4 million – To rehabilitate 3,500 feet of the existing southern portion of Taxiway A pavement to extend its useful life and enhance safety by minimizing foreign object debris.
Van Nuys, Los Angeles, California, more than $18.9 million – To resurface and seal the pavement for the airport’s primary Runway 16R/34L. This project will extend the useful life of the runway pavement. Van Nuys airport is one of the busiest general aviation airports in the United States in terms of aircraft operations. Work is scheduled to begin in February 2022 and be completed in November 2022.
Bradley International, Windsor Locks, Connecticut, almost $11.3 million – For reconstructing the Taxiway S and to bring the connector taxiways to current federal design standards.
Denver International, Denver Colorado, nearly $26.7 million – To rehabilitate the pavement and lighting systems on Runway 16L/34R to enhance safe airfield operations during low-visibility conditions and to rehabilitate a taxiway.
Valdosta Regional, Valdosta, Georgia, nearly $5.7 million – To rehabilitate 8,000 feet of Runway 17/35 maintaining the structural integrity of the pavement and minimize foreign object debris. Additionally, this project enhances safety by removing vegetation obstructions from the Runway 35 approach and departure paths.
Scott AFB/MidAmerica, Belleville, Illinois, more than $12.6 million – For expanding the terminal building to accommodate existing passenger demand and meet security and American with Disabilities Act (ADA) requirements. The airport has seen an increase in enplanements from 20,000 in 2015 to more than 150,000 in 2018. The security checkpoint is being relocated to the first floor of the terminal and expanded by an additional lane to meet Transportation Security Administration design requirements.
Frederick Municipal, Frederick, Maryland, more than $4.8 million – For extending Runway 05/23 to meet the operational needs of the airport. Additionally, this project relocates the parallel taxiway to meet federal design standards for separation between runways and taxiways.
President Harry Truman established the first program to provide federal investment for airport infrastructure and development of the nation’s civil airports when he signed the Federal Airport Act of 1946. The first grant was awarded to Twin Falls, Idaho, to help construct an airport. Since 1946, the FAA has issued more than 89,000 grants totaling $96 billion.
The Airport Improvement Program receives approximately $3.2 billion in congressional funding each year. The FAA will award more than 1,500 grants this year. A complete listing of grants (PDF) and an interactive map of airport recipients is maintained on the FAA website.
GRAND JUNCTION, CO (AGirlandAGun.org) – A Girl & A Gun Women’s Shooting League (AG & AG), the firearm industry’s first large-scale chapter-based women’s organization, recently hosted its 9th Annual National Conference Presented by GLOCK. The sold-out event took place at Cameo Shooting and Education Complex near Palisade, CO, from April 27 through May 2, 2021. More than 600 AG & AG members, sponsors, staff, and friends were in attendance.
“Last year we hosted a very successful virtual Conference, but we were unable to meet face to face, give hugs, and cheer for success,” says Julianna Crowder, AG & AG’s Founder. “This year, with RISE 2021, we welcomed diverse and enthusiastic women, aged 12 to 77, who each have unique goals for self defense and recreational shooting sports. It is an honor that we get to share in their journeys and guide them along the way.”
Participants included approximately 450 members representing 96 AG & AG chapters from 35 different states. The women were able to choose from among 250 training classes run by 54 of the nation’s top firearms educators. Training classes ran over 3 days, with an additional 2 days of lectures and leadership development. The event also included a Vendor Day with 49 brands, including GLOCK, CZ-USA, Walther, USCCA, XS Sights, Primary Arms, Stag Arms, Heckler & Koch, U.S. Law Shield, and others, showcasing the latest product lines to AG & AG members and their guests.
“The firearms industry is not only providing superior products for women, but also providing opportunities for training and helping our members grow in skill and confidence,” says Robyn Sandoval, AG & AG’s Executive Director. GLOCK’s National Director of Training Willie Parent, CZ-USA Field Sports’ Brand Manager Dave Miller, and Walther’s Tatiana Whitlock, Jim Dexter, and Gabby Franco were among the all-star instructors at Conference.
U.S. Representative Lauren Boebert was also on site to welcome the attendees to her home state of Colorado. This was the first AG & AG National Conference to be hosted outside of Texas.
Cameo Shooting and Education Complex was the ideal location for the event. With 20 live-fire bays, numerous field classrooms, a beautiful sporting clays course, and a 2,003-yard rifle range, AG & AG was able to provide training classes on a wide variety of shooting and self-defense topics. Cameo also allowed AG & AG to bring Heligunner, so attendees enjoyed aerial gunnery with views of the gorgeous Grand Mesa. The Cameo staff and volunteers were invaluable to the success of the event, as were local businesses and the Grand Junction Sports Commission. With facility developments planned in the next several months, AG & AG will be able to increase attendance for CELEBRATE 2022.
Registration for CELEBRATE 2022 opens September 1, 2021. Learn more at AGirlandAGun.org/conference/.

We’ve made it through another week, but I’m not going to ask if you’ve had a nice week so as to not provoke a desire to book a session with a therapist; however, I will tell you in a less than delicate manner that it’s been huge cluster fuck.
When it’s not COVID and the facemask extravaganza, we find ourselves in a “a la 70s” gasoline shortage because some moron clicked on a link or visited a website with his’ or hers’s work PC and picked up malware. These perpetrators do not attack routers, gateways or firewalls, state actors do that; instead, they attack the individual implanting keyboard loggers and other forms of malware which then spread across the enterprise network.
If after my less than tactful introduction you still feel you need to see a psychologist, keep in mind that the majority of therapists are jackasses who majored in psychology so they could understand themselves and could not make it through calculus or organic chemistry, and for sure couldn’t pass the Medical College Admissions Test (a.k.a. MCAT). The $150 per hour that you’re going to spend can best be directed to putting on a great shoot the shit. What’s a shoot the shit?
A shoot the shit is a social interaction during which any topic is open for discussion. Participants don’t need to know anything about the subject, are free to make unsupported comments, use uncensured profanity, insult anyone they wish or change the subject altogether. So, let’s get this shoot the shit started!
Those of you familiar with the Hippie movement know that it was an era of social revolution. People believed in free love, communing with mother earth and yes, drugs. If you’ve spent time in the Height – Ashbury district of San Francisco you were able to observe or participate in that spirit. You could hear the music of Ravi Shankar, Jimmy Hendrix, Janice Joplin and others playing from apartments, stores and restaurants. The Height-Ashbury is the area near the University of California School of Medicine and is defined by the intersection of Height and Ashbury Streets. It’s a colorful place even today.
At the Height it was not uncommon to see women who favored a more natural look, but as earthy as this look may seem, it does present a significant hygiene challenge; imagine what this photo is not revealing. Is this an expression of a desire to be natural and commune with mother earth or is she afflicted with Hirsutism?
Hirsutism, is excessive female hair growth on unexpected areas of the body, such as on the face, chest, and back. It also manifests itself in a large accumulation of thick stiff hair in the pudendum and emanating from the intergluteal cleft.
Hirsutism can result from an excess of androgens and may occur with certain medical conditions. It may also be inherited. Hirsutism results in excessive amounts of stiff and pigmented hair on body areas where men typically grow hair, including the face, chest, and back. Hirsutism is treatable with medications and hair can also be removed with electrolysis or laser therapy.
Whether by design or affliction it’s quite likely she has never experienced workplace harassment.
I neglected to mention that this female “en naturel” way of life was also prevalent in Europe and a number of Central and South American countries. Unfortunately it was usually associated with poor hygiene resulting in a particularly offensive permeating aroma and violating the olfactory senses .
Moving along…
I feel that social decorum is lacking in our society, so in older shoot the shits I’ve included topics like proper use of silverware, and not inhaling cigar smoke or be exposed as a charlatán and impostor, all of my tips are important in communicating that you are upper crust. So, in this shoot the shit, I will introduce you to the Baccarat card game, one of the oldest and most selective card games in human history.
Baccarat origins are still up for debate; however, the intelligentsia believes this card game was created in Italy, in the 1400s, by a man named Felix Falguiere or Falguierein. He called the game “baccara,” Italian for “zero,” because all the tens and face cards were worth zero. There are a couple of variants, but by far the most influential is Chemin de Fer. The game is very upscale, A number of years ago, I was at a table where two individuals affiliated with the Mexican oil company were making $30,000 bets a hand.
Only three bets can be made in Baccarat: bank, player and/or tie. If you bet on the bank and win, you pay the house a commission of 5%. If you bet on the player and win, you get even money and if you bet on a tie, and the bank and player tie, you’ll see a 9:1 return.
You can bet on the bank and a tie, a tie only or on the player and tie. Betting on the bank has the highest probability of winning, which is why the house charges you a 5% commission. The game of Baccarat has the lowest probability in favor of the house which is why many of the Vegas Baccarat games have all kinds of spins.

In Baccarat, 10s and face cards are worth zero, so this hand is a 9. In Black Jack you’d have a 19 not in Baccarat.

Here A = 9 B=5 and C=3 (not 23) “A” is the winning hand. Unlike black jack, a baccarat has no bust.
If either hand, Player or Banker, totals 8 or 9, both hands automatically stand. The hand closest to a value of 9 wins (except on a
Tie).
If the Player’s hand totals 6 or 7, the Player’s hand will stand (take no more cards). When the Player stands, the Banker’s Hand must
take one more card if the Banker’s total is 5 or below, and must stand if the total is 6 or above.
If the Player’s Hand totals 5 or below, a third card is dealt to the Player’s hand. When the Player hits, the Banker’s Hand must abide
by the following set of rules:
| Banker Hand |
Player’s 3rd Card |
Banker Must |
| 0, 1 or 2 | Any | Draw a 3rd card |
| 3 | 0,1,2,3,4,5,6,7 or 9 |
Draw a 3rd card |
| 4 | 2,3,4,5,6 or 7 |
Draw a 3rd card |
| 5 | 4,5,6 or 7 | Draw a 3rd card |
| 6 | 6 or 7 | Draw a 3rd card |
| 7 | Any | Stand |
| 8 | Any | Stand |
| 9 | Any | Stand |
Bet on Player: Pays 1-to-1
Bet on Banker: Pays
1-to-1, minus 5% commission
Bet on Tie: Pays 9-to-1
A croupier (dealer) runs the game and in the more formal games played in large oval tables a pallet is used to handle the cards. Unlike Black Jack players aren’t dealt cards. In baccarat, the dealer draws cards for both player and bank
![]()
You may hear of a “natural” in Baccarat, this is a two-card total of 8 or 9. The picture above would be called as a natural 9
There are a number of systems used to play Baccarat. Systems are used to help you recognize a streak or capitalize when hands are going back and forth between bank and player.
Player behavior is important in communicating your social status, when you’re betting simply hesitate as you dip your head and look up with your eyes. Make your bank bet by softly saying “banco” while your head is dipped and your eyes looking at the croupier.
Have a great weekend! Schedule your own shoot the shit with your buds or family you’ll be glad you did!
Sig Sauer’s most significant addition to their red dot line of sights is without question their new ROMEO 7S. Every feature that you’ve come to expect from a high end enclosed red dot sight are standard equipment on the ROMEO 7S. A sharp crisp dot with a 50,000 hour battery life to name a just few.

City of Industry, Ca. (May 12, 2021)- One of the best things about some of the optics advancements in recent years has been the ability to incorporate them into all sorts of firearms, including pistols. This proves extremely beneficial for acquiring a target with as little effort as possible and takes the guesswork out of aiming. For a new and inexperienced marksman, this gives immediate results with little effort; that is, if it’s dialed in correctly.
Holosun offers a broad range of reflex sights that will work on properly equipped pistols. The 407, 507, 508 and 509 series come with all sorts of options. Mounting interface, reticle choice and color are the most obvious choices that need to be made. While these optics series are going to be different sizes, they are adjusted in remarkably similar ways.
When first using a reflex optic – let’s use the 508 series, for example – check to see if there are any specific items or tools necessary for adjustments. While the 508 series need a small flathead screwdriver, other brands may require custom tools and measurement systems. This is one significant benefit and testament to the consistency of Holosun products.
The Process:
Here’s a few basics before we begin on the overall process. Every optic will have a north-south knob for adjustment and an east-west knob for adjustment. Depending on where you aim and the location of the impacts, any changes to point-of-impact would be made using these knobs. Holosun includes a small tool that can be used for making these adjustments. Every time the knob is twisted, there will be a small ‘click’ sound. Each click is equivalent to a 1 MOA adjustment which may be unnecessary to know depending on your method for finding zero.
#1: With standard sight co-witness:
With some pistol optic installation, the ability to use the standard sights may still be possible. One method of zeroing a reflex optic is to line the dot from the optic over – or directly on – where the point of aim would normally be on the standard sights. There is some personal preference when it comes to co-witnessing. The next step would be as easy as heading to the range. From there, if the projectile is traveling too far in any direction, move the reticle an appropriate amount using the built-in knobs.
#2: Without co-witness:
A bit more complicated, this method can also be used even when co-witnessing. While you can eyeball it and waste ammunition in the process, a 10-yard zero target makes the process move without a hitch.
Pistol zero targets will most likely have an MOA measurement built-in. They are reliable if a target is set up at the proper distance. With an optic mounted and the target set up at ten yards, fire a group of 5 shots. From the shot group, find the center and estimate the MOA adjustments necessary to reach the bullseye. Using the dials on the side of the optic, adjust accordingly. Remember, Holosun pistol optic adjustment values are 1 MOA per click, so a 3 MOA adjustment would be three clicks.
Final Steps:
Following any adjustments, it’s recommended to do the same target process 3-5 times. After each group, continue making slight adjustments if necessary. This will do several things.
First, it will work out the user’s cobwebs and any flinching that might have happened during the first group shots.
Second, it will allow the settling in of any irregularities with the pistol, such as lack of lubrication or magazine difficulties.
Third, it will also test the consistency of the ammunition itself. Ammunition is one of the largest uncontrollable variables when finding zero and the accuracy of any firearm.
Conclusion:
So, there you have it! Two methods of zeroing your pistol-mounted optic. Promptly, find some inexpensive ammunition and get out to the range. The only thing standing in the way of an accurate pistol is you… and ammunition prices…

NEWTOWN, Conn. — The National Shooting Sports Foundation® (NSSF®), the firearm industry trade association, wholeheartedly supports Ohio state Representative Scott Wiggam’s introduction of House Bill 297, the Firearm Industry Non-Discrimination (FIND) Act. This crucial legislation would stop corporations from discriminating against the firearm and ammunition industry and diminishing the Second Amendment.
“The legislation protects firearm and ammunition businesses from being canceled by ‘woke’ activists who would unfairly and unlawfully discriminate against an entire industry simply because they disagree with Americans exercising their constitutional rights,” said Lawrence G. Keane, NSSF Senior Vice President and General Counsel. “We have witnessed the highest levels of government abusing their authority to discriminate against the firearm industry when the Obama administration and Department of Justice began Operation Chokepoint to deny services to the firearm industry. That discriminatory practice continues by big corporations and NSSF is grateful for Representative Wiggam’s leadership to end it in Ohio.”
Ohio’s Firearm Industry Non-discrimination (FIND) Act would protect the Second Amendment rights of Ohioans by requiring that government contracts include verification that the company seeking the contract does not have discriminatory policies against the firearm industry and will not discriminate against the firearm industry for the duration of the contract.
Ohio would join Georgia and Wyoming, which enacted their own versions of the FIND Act, to end discrimination against the firearm industry within their borders. This legislation doesn’t force corporations to change policies but enables Ohio to exercise discretion over which corporate entities the state will do business with. Ohio’s legislature has an opportunity to stand with the industry that makes products that are critical for military personnel, law enforcement officers and the Second Amendment rights of Ohioans.

NEWINGTON, N.H., (May 11, 2021) – Today, SIG SAUER, Inc., filed a lawsuit in the United States District Court for the Central District of Illinois, Rock Island Division, alleging that Springfield, Inc. (Springfield Armory) infringes two SIG patents relating to SIG’s P365 magazine.

A NEW French-Australian team for SEA 1905 : ECA GROUP and TMT sign an MoU for the Mine Countermeasures program of the Royal Australian Navy
Australian company Total Marine Technology (TMT) and the French company ECA GROUP have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to combine their expertise in the domain of unmanned technologies in order to partner for the SEA 1905 Phase 1 – Tranche 1 Program of the Royal Australian Navy (RAN) for their future Maritime Mine Countermeasures and Military Survey Capability.
Both companies are highly skilled in robotics equipment for harsh maritime environments and have been serving customers in the Defence and Security domain for many years. Today, ECA GROUP and TMT announce their partnership and a common commitment to supply the Commonwealth of Australia with the most competitive and technologically advanced solution for SEA 1905. TMT and ECA GROUP are already in discussions with other possible Australian partners to further enhance their offer.
The Royal Australian Navy’s SEA 1905 Maritime Mine Countermeasures (MCM) Program was announced in April 2019 to replace the RAN’s four remaining Huon-class Minehunter Coastal (MHC) ships. In January 2021, Australia’s Minister for Defense also stated that the new ships would be based on the Arafura-class offshore patrol vessel. The vessels will deploy modular unmanned autonomous systems that will provide them with mine-hunting and military survey capabilities. The request for tender SEA 1905 Phase 1 – Tranche 1 is expected for the fourth quarter of 2021. According to Admiral Michael Noonan for Australiandefence.com.au, the program schedule of SEA 1905 Phase 1 is well on the track: “first pass approval has occurred, second pass approval will be in the third or fourth quarter 2022 with the introduction of capability in 2023/2024 and IOC (initial operational capability) in the backend of 2024”. Admiral Noonan also shared a figure of A$3.3 –A$5 billion (€2.1 – €3.2 billion) for the future mine warfare and hydrographic vessels.
ECA GROUP over 50 years experience in Mine Countermeasures for over 30 navies
ECA GROUP has over 50 years’ experience in the design, manufacturing and support of complete and integrated unmanned systems based on autonomous and remotely operated technologies for mine clearance at sea, while constantly keeping crews and the ship out of the danger zone. UMIS – ECA GROUP’s integrated drone systems for Mine Detection, Classification, Identification and Neutralization benefit from its many years of experience in engineering and solutions development offering compact, interoperable, modular and scalable systems. They can be operated from dedicated mine hunters as an integrated solution, but also from a ship of opportunity or from the shore as an air/road transportable configuration. This solution being comprehensive, as well as sea proven, ECA GROUP has a unique offer on the market of maritime unmanned technologies.
In addition, ECA GROUP also offers deep and ultra-deep unmanned underwater vehicles down to 6000m for hydrography and oceanography.
ECA GROUP systems support over 30 navies including the Royal Australian Navy. In the past, ECA GROUP provided and supported the RAN with its mine disposal PAP robots which were in operation on the Bay Class minehunters until 2001. In the late 90’s, ECA GROUP delivered and installed onboard the RAN Leeuwinn class ship an integrated platform management system OPSYS which was upgraded in 2010. Currently, ECA GROUP is participating in the SEA1778 project by supplying and integrating two “remote control kits” on two boats to transform them into Unmanned Surface Vehicles (USV) to tow the AMASS (Australian Minesweeping and Support System) influence sweep. In addition, in 2008/2009 ECA GROUP also delivered the software suite (now integrated in UMISOFT software suite) to the Australian Hydrographic Service, for acquiring and processing the hydrographic data collected by the four Paluma-class motor launch vessels.

It holds a number of patents and continues to be active in R&D to further push the boundaries of possibility in remote technology for harsh and dangerous environments.
TMT has been proudly supporting defense since 2014, with defense ready tooling and through life subsea asset equipment management. TMT’s Sovereign capabilities include reliable through life subsea asset equipment management.
” We are extremely happy to team with TMT, to strengthen our position in the southern hemisphere and specifically Australia, and to contribute to a sustainable Australian SEA 1905 Tranche 1 program. Our aim is to share and implement our expertise together with TMT in order to provide the Royal Australian Navy with sea proven, state of the art technologies tailored to their operational needs and to adapt the system over time to take into account the evolving threat as well as new technologies as they become available.” states Daniel Scourzic, VP for Strategic Programs at ECA GROUP.
“We believe the linking with ECA Group is a significant event which will unlock opportunities in the defense sector, through the provision of focused and well implemented new technologies. The strengths of both companies are well suited to providing an integrated solution to address the rapidly developing area of undersea capability. To work collaboratively with the ECA GROUP is a real win for TMT. Their world leading technology in this sector will further enhance our ability to generate new skills and jobs as we seek to strengthen and diversify our core capability for future growth.” states Paul Colley, CEO of TMT.

Stryk Pay Offers a New Pro-Gun Friendly
Means of Credit Card Processing
BOZEMAN, Mont. (May 11, 2021) — Despite the recent surge in firearms sales, the gun business is facing a serious challenge. That challenge is the fact that many “gun unfriendly” banks, financial institutions, and credit card processing businesses have been cancelling their agreements with the gun industry at an alarming rate.
Stryk Group USA – the Bozeman, Montana-based impact consulting company serving several leading hunting, fishing and firearms brands – has developed an innovative solution to the problem – Stryk Pay.
“First it was the Obama Administration’s onerous Operation Chokepoint that was thankfully nullified by the Trump administration.” said Ron Dan, director of sales, Stryk Pay. “Sadly, today it is the Biden Administration – perhaps the most anti-gun administration in history – that has set the tone for financial institutions to simply refuse to do business with legal firearms businesses. They are looking to accomplish this by not processing credit card transactions and not providing other essential services to our dealers and manufacturers. Stryk Pay was created by our company – one staffed from top to bottom with people who are endemic shooters, hunters, and outdoor enthusiasts. All with experience in everything from running firearms companies and retail operations for firearms brands to high-risk credit card processing for e-commerce, wholesale and retail companies – as a solution to these discriminatory business practices.”
Key elements of Stryk Pay include:
* It is supported by a network of Second Amendment-friendly banks (redundancy in bank approval to ensure continuity of services.)
* PCI Compliance Level 1 gateway, the highest, most stringent, of the PCI security levels. Top tier security, established in an effort to protect the security of credit card data and cardholder data, in e-commerce transactions as well as in-store.
* Safeguards for fraud protection and chargebacks.
* Integration with current hardware and point-of-sales systems.
* Reliability and security, while still able to provide cost savings.
* Flexibility in implementation with current hardware, making a change as non-invasive as possible.
* From the initial application to implementation, Stryk Pay has the most tech-forward systems in place to ensure a streamlined process.
* Dedicated USA-based customer service.
“We are equally invested in preserving and supporting the Second Amendment as we are to offering cost savings and processing solutions, regardless of the nature of the transaction,” Dan said. “It’s that simple.”
Stryk Pay is here to help you, protect you and help you grow your company. For more information on Stryk Pay, Click Here or visit www.strykpay.com .

Umarex Airguns Announces
the Gauntlet 2 PCP Air Rifle
FORT SMITH, AR (May 10, 2021) – Umarex USA, innovator, manufacturer, and marketer of airguns, optics, and accessories for outdoor enthusiasts is pleased to announce it is running the Gauntlet again! The Gauntlet 2 pre-charged pneumatic (PCP) is all new for 2021. Umarex Airguns is bringing substantial improvements over the first generation Gauntlet and its direct competitors. The new Gauntlet 2 will be available in both .22 and .25 calibers and bring a refined look and a new performance potential to shooters looking for an alternative to rimfire rifles or the discerning air gun shooter in aim of the 10-ring.
Ergonomics mean everything when it comes to handling any tool and air rifles are no different. The new Umarex Gauntlet 2 stock has been optimized with esthetic design changes as well as functional improvements that captivate the eyes and meld with the body. Its new high-strength polymer stock is molded in Flat Dark Earth with the adjustable cheek rest accented in black. The stock has been slimmed down and trimmed in conspicuous places while still offering superb interaction, reduced weight, and synonymous feel for the shooter. This new approach accommodates M-LOK® accessories via the attachment points on three sides of the reinforced and lengthened forearm. Additionally, the new Gauntlet 2 is fitted with an easy-to-grip knurled cylindrical bolt handle that treats the shooter to a much more positive interface, especially in inclement weather.
Umarex Airguns raised the bar with improved performance in this new edition to their PCP lineup. The Gauntlet 2’s new onboard air tank has been increased to 24 cubic inches from the first generation’s 13 cubic inch tank. The biggest news for the Gauntlet 2, however, is the increased regulated pressure. Shooters picking up the .22 caliber Gauntlet 2 will find the regulated shot pressure at 1,900 PSI and the .25 caliber Gauntlet 2 tank regulated at 2,100 PSI. Velocities for .22 and .25 caliber pellets will hover in the 1050 FPS and 980 FPS range using lightweight lead pellets and energy levels in the 33 FPE and 51 FPE range with popular standard weight pellets, respectively. The huge 24 cubic inch tank also works to increase the shot count by 17% in .22 caliber to 70+ shots and 85% in .25 caliber to 50+ shots. Even though the Gauntlet 2 is producing substantially more muzzle energy than the original Gauntlet, additional baffling in the barrel assembly works to reduce the noise level by 8dB in both calibers. Mounting a scope on the new Gauntlet 2 is also easier than ever with a Picatinny style optics rail now topping off the receiver.
Umarex USA has run the Gauntlet again by refining the lauded Gauntlet platform to create a powerful and pleasing PCP pellet rifle that, in typical Umarex Airgun fashion, offers exceptional power and exceptional value for the consumer’s shooting dollars. The Gauntlet 2 will be offered at fine airgun retailers and the Umarex USA webstore at a MSRP of $449.99.

OVERLAND PARK, Kan. – May 10, 2021 – Tasco®, a leader in superior value optics, has launched a major redesign of its website, Tasco.com. Besides a new look and feel, the website features overhauled navigation, enhanced product content and new categories for customers to explore.
Tasco.com now includes integrated connections to Tasco social media, streamlined customer support and in-depth product pages so customers can quickly and easily find the information they need. Searchers can find products by category, with added filtering or with new and improved search functionality. Besides classics like binoculars, rifle scopes, telescopes and spotting scopes, customers will notice new red dot and golf categories highlighted on the website’s homepage.
The Tasco lineup of red dot sights is also new and improved in 2021 with the addition of two new models – the TRD130T ProPoint® 1×30 and TRDPCC ProPoint 1×30 PCC. Designed with rugged construction and versatile mounting options, both red dots offer outstanding value at an entry-level price point.
At the core of the ProPoint line is a crisp red dot with multi-coated lenses for a bright image without the blue tint found on other brands’ red dots. This provides a clear target view and aiming point for quicker and more accurate shooting, making ProPoint red dots intuitive sights for hunters and range shooters alike.
Both red dots come with capped elevation turrets and provide up to 500 hours of battery life. From front to back, these red dot sights are designed, constructed and tested to withstand relentless recoil for years of service at the range and in the field thanks to their rugged aluminum construction.
Manufacturer’s suggested retail price for the TRD130T Red Dot is $41.59 and for the TRDPCC is $79.99. For more information on these or to see other Tasco products, visit Tasco.com.

Galco’s FasTrax PAC!
PHOENIX, May 2021
An instant bestseller the moment it was introduced, and designed to blend with casual modern clothing styles, the FasTrax PAC discreetly carries a subcompact or compact defensive handgun ready for action.
Unlike old-style waistpacks that required the user to dig deeply into the pack or tear it open to draw the handgun, the FasTrax PAC uses a highly innovative combination of a pivoting holster component and external activation cord. This enables you to get your handgun into action much faster than with legacy waistpack designs. As we all know, time is often in very short supply when you need a handgun to defend yourself and your loved ones.
Comfort is key when carrying all day, of course. To maximize wearer comfort, the FasTrax PAC’s back panel is made of Galco’s Comfort Cloth™, a soft and breathable adaptive performance mesh that keeps the pack comfortable against your body when worn all day long.
Convenient concealment is also important. The FasTrax’s adjustable, stretchable elasticized waist strap also helps make for easy carry, and uses a Nexus® buckle for quick on-off capability. The pack’s contemporary flat front has a zippered pocket for carrying some EDC items. A helpful pass-through port on the front pocket accommodates cables for earbuds or other devices.
Galco’s patent-pending FasTrax PAC tops the list for comfortable, convenient carry and speed into action in an increasingly casually-dressed world.

Escort Shotguns has taken the best cycling features and made them their own.

![]()

Bentonville, AR (May 10, 2021) – Escort’s Dynamax Semi-Auto Shotgun is a marvel of modern engineering. Designed to be the perfect combination of speed and comfort, the Dynamax is loaded with features that maximize both performance and value.
The Dynamax is outfitted with Escort’s ultramodern, patented Hybrid Cycling System (HCS). It combines the best features from each of the two traditional cycling operating systems, gas and kinetic. The Dynamax will cycle light loads like a traditional gas system but uses much less gas. As a result, recoil is reduced, and the cycle rate is faster and more efficient. With less felt recoil, a shooter acquires targets faster, making follow up shots more effective. Using less gas to cycle the gun also means the Dynamax does not have to be cleaned as frequently. The HCS is easy to break down, making maintenance easier than ever.
The entire barrel/receiver module is oxidation-proof for ultimate weather resistance. The precision-tooled barrel is made from Ni-Cr-Mo steel, and is hard chrome lined. The bolt of the Dynamax is also fabricated from Ni-Cr-Mo steel and is hard chrome plated for long life, reduced friction, and maximum resistance against corrosion. This unrivaled process makes for maximum durability and provides the utmost resistance against rust and corrosion. In addition, all Escort barrels are rigorously proof tested to ensure both strength and longevity.
The Dynamax stock is an excellent example of form meeting function. Its DaSoft finish provides scuff and UV protection while improving durability and handling feel. The DynaPad recoil pad’s advanced elastic material and V-shaped ventilations provide superior recoil absorption to maximize shooting comfort. The Dynamax is also equipped with an integrated DynaComb cheek piece that increases comfort and reduces felt recoil. All of these features make the Dynamax a dream to shoot, with even the stoutest of magnum loads.
The unique two-piece modular design makes the Dynamax one of the world’s fastest and easiest shotguns to assemble and disassemble. The two-piece modular design is comprised of the stock / trigger group module and the barrel / receiver module. This intuitive design allows the shotgun to be fully disassembled and reassembled in just seconds with no tools. Simply loosen the magazine cap a few turns, and the two modules can be separated.

Don Trump Jr.’s Disruptive Outdoor Media Brand, Field Ethos, Hires Industry Veteran Mike Schoby BOZEMAN, MT (May 6, 2021) – Field Ethos Inc., the multi-media platform dedicated to providing adventure seekers with unparalleled hunting, fishing, travel, and adventure content, is pleased to announce the appointment of Mike Schoby as Chief Operating Officer. Schoby will be responsible for strategic brand growth, sales and partnerships with quality brands in the outdoor space.
Schoby’s outdoor industry experience spans nearly three decades as a writer, photographer, book author, as well as Editor-in-Chief of Petersen’s Hunting magazine and Group Publisher overseeing Outdoor Sportsman Group’s shooting division, including legacy brands such as Guns & Ammo and Shooting Times.
“Schoby is an excellent fit for our team of troublemakers at Field Ethos. His many years in the outdoor industry partnered with his unfiltered style align with our collective mindset. With the way many brands are shying away from unapologetic sporting content, Schoby fits in well with a team that’s not afraid to swim against the current,” said Jason Vincent – Field Ethos Inc. Founder. “When you combine his comprehensive hunting and fishing experience with his track record of innovative content development, the ability to lead sales teams and success in developing long-lasting relationships in the industry, he really is the perfect fit for Field Ethos, and we’re excited he is attracted to our brand.”
“I’m thrilled to join the Field Ethos team,” says Schoby. “It’s a chance to help create a renaissance of the masculine sporting culture—adventure, hunting, guns, travel and fishing. Most importantly it is about representing our lifestyle honestly. For example, Field Ethos doesn’t justify hunting solely for the sake of food…it is a part of it, but we know there is much more. It is equally about the adventure, culture, comradery and tradition. At our core we are about embracing toxic masculinity and rejecting the woke, P.C. culture.”
“Mike is a friend and someone I respect in the outdoor industry. I think everyone knows I’m unapologetic by nature and he has a very similar mindset when it comes to how we want to see our brand evolve—and we’re pretty much doing exactly the opposite of most brands in our space. In this day and age, honest representations of hunting and fishing pisses a lot of people off. Mike won’t take his foot off the gas when that happens,” said Don Trump Jr.—Field Ethos Inc. Founder. “We’re just a few dudes being dudes. Less and less people seem to be ok with this these days, but we’re here for those of us who still value that.”

About
Don Trump Jr. along with several friends launched Field Ethos Journal in 2020 with a mission to create a brand that takes a strong stance as a pro-hunting, pro 2A, non-PC outlet for those who appreciate unapologetic, authentic and unfiltered content. Unlike some brands that have financial ties to known anti-gun groups, Field Ethos is free from all encumbrances and welcomes every aspects of the gun culture from fine English doubles to machine guns. While the brand currently focuses on digital content through it’s website, films, podcast and social media, it’s inaugural print magazine will launch in early 2022.
