CMMC architects to lead workshop on program basics
ARLINGTON, VA – Who better to teach Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification fundamentals than the experts who helped design the program? The National Defense Industrial Association and the Carnegie Mellon University Software Engineering Institute welcome registrants to learn from these masters during “CMMC 101: A Primer to the Program,” Thursday, May 6, 12:30 to 5:30 p.m. EDT.

SENTRY Tuf-Glide comes in a handy applicator bottle or pen applicator, both excellent choices for hard to reach areas and to “re-activate” your Tuf-Cloth after hundreds of uses. Tuf-Glide’s CDLP technology not only removes the gunk, protects from debris, lint, and dirt sticking to the metal parts, but it also lubricates and protects against corrosion and rust (without sticky oils) and keeps parts moving and functioning at their optimal level even in extreme heat and cold – no gunk freeze-up!
You’ll find more uses for the Tuf-Glide in your tool arsenal, too. Don’t forget your knives need protection too!
What is little, is mighty, especially when it comes in the form of SENTRY Hi-Slip Grease. Offered in either a 2 oz. jar or 12cc syringe, Hi-Slip Grease is a concentrate, in that, a little will go a long way for lubing and protecting against corrosion, especially from salt water, sweat, and any powder residue. A handy tip from gunsmiths: Use Hi-Slip Grease to hold those tiny and tricky springs and washers during assembly. Saves an afternoon on your knees looking for one tiny spring under your dusty work bench.
Although, you shouldn’t make it a habit to look down a gun barrel, bore and barrel cleaning is a fact of life. SENTRY Smooth-Kote Bore and Barrel Treatment is the answer to cut down time and how often your bores and barrels need attention.
How do they do that? Smooth-Kote is based on the same oil free technology using a molydbenum dry lubricant to protect against friction, fouling, and wear. It’s fast drying properties micro bond to the metals and, here’s a big benefit, it actually enhances accuracy, bullet velocity, and reliability. It also eliminates grime and it reduces extreme fouling, leading to less time and less frequent cleaning your bores and barrels!

Set to establish an R&D center in Israel to serve global clients

Griffin Armament® M-LOK compatible SR-RIGIDTM rails (Suppressor Ready – Rigid) allow up to 1.5” outside diameter silencers to be mounted inside the octagonal M-LOK rail. This provides suppressor aficionados a sleek, and compact overall length to AR15 type firearms.
Design objectives of this rail were to provide a suppressor compatible rail, with increased rigidity and durability over similar weight and profile current market options. A custom extrusion provides significant internal reinforcements to reduce flex when loading the carbine on the rail.

Reducing flex with our ID reinforcement spars reduces POI shift related to rail mounted lasers and night vision clip-ons. These rails offer more accuracy (less flex) than their competition which means more lethality under hours of darkness.”

These reinforcements provide rigid mounting for IR laser aimers ensuring minimal POI shift when torque is applied to fore-grip type accessories, or when loads are applied to the rail such as practical shooting off barricades or when loading bipods for rapid follow up shots. Internal practical testing showed substantial reductions in POI shift with laser aimers versus competing “slim rails” that lacked this notable product feature.
The new SR-RIGIDTM rails features a close tolerance, heavy-duty, 7075 aluminum, T-6, type 3 hard coat anodized finish. The barrel nut can be easily installed to 35-85 ft/lbs using the included Griffin Armorers Wrench. The new slip fit clamp design is extremely user friendly and does not require any shims or special timing methods. The clamp geometry in the rear section of the rail is low profile and ergonomically pleasing even for long durations of extended carry at static security positions. Flat head T15 torx screws should be tightened to 25/in pounds. The included 45 degree picatinny QD sling swivel can be installed on the top picatinny rail to the desired position of the end user. M-LOK flats on each 45 degree surface allow for mounting of your favorite M-LOK accessories. A contiguous picatinny top rail ensures repeatable and accurate mounting for night vision and thermal systems.

The Shoot Like A Girl Experience
Both new and experienced shooters are invited to attend Shoot Like A Girl trailer event in cities across the country. Attendees are also encouraged to bring their families and young children to discuss and hear more about firearm safety. No experience is necessary to participate in this free event, and all equipment is provided to guests upon arrival.
Inside the range, attendees who are 16 years of age or older can handle and shoot handguns and long guns with guidance from instructors, using a military-grade firearm simulator which provides immediate recoil, impact and sound feedback. Archery coaches are also onsite to assist guests with shooting bows. Outside the range, at the Shoot Like A Girl gun counter, visitors of all ages are welcome to compare a variety of disabled firearms, including revolvers, semi-automatic pistols, shotguns and rifles.

Winchester Launches Ladies Cup at the NSCA Western Regional
EAST ALTON, Ill. (April 14, 2021) — Sporting clays shooters from around the country met in Phoenix, Arizona, this past weekend at the Western Regional for the first stop of the 2021 National Sporting Clays Association (NSCA) Championship Tour, Powered by Winchester. Not only was this the first stop in the 2021 tour but it was also the first opportunity for lady shooters to compete for the new Winchester Ladies Cup and added prize money.
After five days of competition, the results were tallied and winners announced.

Ankle holsters can be ideal for warm-weather carry of the primary handgun, or in many cases a secondary (or “backup”) handgun. They’re also particularly useful for gun carriers who are seated for much of the day. Galco offers an array of ankle holsters.
Serious gun carriers who need deep concealment rave about Galco’s Ankle Glove™. Constructed of premium saddle leather, it features a reinforced thumb break (most models) for speed of draw and detailed molding for firearm retention.
After two decades of universal praise for the Ankle Glove, Galco added the Ankle Lite™. With a holster pocket made from Premium Center Cut Steerhide™, the Ankle Lite’s reinforced thumb break retention strap combines excellent security with speed of draw.
The Ankle Guard™ is an open top design that reduces draw complexity and increases speed of draw – without sacrificing retention. The lack of thumb break also reduces the (unnecessary) tendency to look at the holster when drawing, and promotes maintaining visual contact with the threat. Retention is accomplished with an adjustable internal retention device that secures the handgun at the trigger guard. The “trench” style sight rail easily accommodates virtually all iron sights, and allows a smooth and easy return to the holster. The front of the Ankle Guard is cut low and allows use of most compact red dot sights.
Finally, the Cop Ankle Band™ combines economy with the ultimate in concealability. The neoprene ankle cuff mates to an elasticized nylon holster pocket. The holster uses an adjustable hook-and-loop retention strap, and comes in three sizes to fit hundreds of different guns.
All three ankle holsters feature a wide, breathable neoprene ankle cuff with hook-and-loop closure. Genuine sheepskin or acrylic (Cop Ankle Band) padding between the holster and ankle greatly enhances wearer comfort when worn for even extended hours in the summer heat.

April 13, 2021 – Andover, MA – MKS Instruments, Inc. (NASDAQ: MKSI), a global provider of technologies that enable advanced processes and improve productivity, has announced the Ophir® LightIR 16-180mm MWIR f/3.6 continuous zoom lens, the newest addition to the LightIR family of lightweight, long-range, motorized continuous zoom lenses. The LightIR 16-180mm f/3.6 is a compact, thermal imaging lens optimized for smaller size 10µm pitch VGA FPA (focal plane array) detectors. It features a folded optics design that significantly reduces the length of the lens and, therefore, the overall size and weight of the optical system in which it is incorporated. The lens is 65% smaller than existing MWIR (medium wave infrared) 10µm VGA lenses. This makes it ideal for the demanding requirements of reduced size, weight, and power (SWaP) and small gimbal thermal imaging applications, including drones and tactical UAV IR cameras as well as micro-/mini-tactical payloads in the commercial, homeland security, and defense markets.

With a focal length of 16-180mm and an f/stop of 3.6, the latest LightIR is a compact, high performance, motorized continuous zoom lens. The folded optics design enables long optical lengths, which produce a reduced sensitivity to tolerances in compact configurations that incorporate fewer optical elements. The innovative design also enables near diffraction-limit performance in harsh environments, and addresses such challenges as line-of-sight (LOS) stabilization and athermalization. At only 460gr, it is one of the lightest weight, continuous zoom lenses on the market. It maintains sharp focus over the entire zoom range. The mechanical and electrical interface assures easy integration into camera systems.

The battle-tested Vudu® 5-25×50 FFP now offers an illuminated Horus™ TREMOR3™reticle for superior long-range accuracy. The Horus TREMOR3 reticle allows Vudu shooters to quickly and accurately estimate target range and size while compensating for bullet drop and wind.
This next-generation TREMOR3 reticle takes advantage of the Vudu 5-25×50 first focal plane design for accurate distance estimation, bullet drop and wind correction subtensions at any magnification. The uniform 0.2 milliradian Horus grid provides numerous aiming points, allowing for pin-point precision without guesswork. The reticle features refined “chevron” mil markers, at 0.1 milliradians, throughout the reticle for precise target range and size estimation. Vertical chevrons are ideal for milling target height, and horizontal chevrons for milling target width.
The Horus TREMOR3 features patented Time-of-Flight wind dots, providing accurate wind calls without the need to consult a ballistic chart or count numerous subtensions. A quick calculation using Horus’s online TREMOR Wind Dot Calculator calibrates the reticle’s wind dots for bullet ballistics and density altitude.
Easy-to-read Rapid Range Bars enable quick estimates of the range to known-size targets. The numbered vertical hash marks on both sides of the main horizontal crosshair indicate leads for targets moving at speeds up to 10 mph and work for many common calibers from about 200-500 yards. Both estimating systems work with the Accuracy 1st Speed Shooting Formula.
Built to perform in any condition, the light-weight and waterproof Vudu 5-25×50 FFP scope features a 34mm, shock-resistant, aircraft-grade aluminum tube with a hard-anodized, durable finish. Its multi-coated XC High-Density glass maximizes light transmission and offers accurate color reproduction for exceptional edge-to-edge optical clarity and resolution.
The Vudu 5-25×50 FFP excels in both day and night applications. An etched reticle provides crisp hash marks for daylight shooting and with a simple push of a button, the illuminated reticle gives shooters the edge in low-light. With ten brightness levels, it easily adapts to any situation. Thanks to its compact design, there’s ample room for a night vision or thermal device. A 2-hour auto-shutoff protects the batteries from draining.
The one-piece eyepiece makes transitioning from low to high magnification easy and fluid. The included, removable throw lever is easy to locate and allows shooters quick magnification changes. Vudu’s surgically precise EZ Chek (Zero Stop) Tactical Turrets allow shooters to re-index to zero after sighting in their optic, allowing for confident windage and elevation adjustments in the field to ensure critical shots hit their mark when it matters most.

This is the fifth consecutive year that MPA has been named the Official Chassis of the PRS. MPA will also sponsor multiple PRS Regional 1-Day matches throughout the year and several Pro Series matches, including the MPA Spring Shootout, the MPA Summer Shootout, and the MPA Fall Shootout, which have proved to be some of the more popular PRS Pro Series matches in the past.

The MPA Matrix Chassis, introduced in the fall of 2019, has quickly become a favorite chassis of PRS competitors. It can be a drop-in replacement for Remington 700 footprint actions, as well as Tikka, Howa, Savage, and a variety of other inlets. Whether interested in increasing the accuracy capabilities of an existing action, adding tactical features to a rifle, or building a precision rifle for long-range competitions, this chassis is sure to exceed expectations. The Bull-Dog is a 12-gauge shotgun with a 3-inch chamber and an 18.5-inch barrel length. The overall length is 29.5 inches. The Bull-Dog comes with one 5-round magazine with Picatinny cut-out. The Picatinny rail system allows shooters to use an extra magazine as a fore grip. The Bull-Dog has removable adjustable open sights, an adjustable cheek rest, and a patent-pending AR-style charging handle. Three choke tubes are included with purchase.
The Bull-Dog shotgun has an MSRP of $499.95. Extra magazines are also available with an MSRP of $27.95 for 5-round and $39.95 for 10-round.

Congratulations to Team Ruger Captain Doug Koenig on taking home another PRS Production Division win at the 2021 W.A.R. Rifle Shootout held in Tremont, Pennsylvania. Doug claimed his win competing with the Custom Shop Ruger Precision® Rifle chambered in 6mm Creedmoor and finished with a score of 98.00.
