CZ-USA Introduces the 600 Series Rifles – High-Performance Models for Every Shooting Style
Kansas City, KS (November 16, 2021) – The 600 Series is the next generation of bolt action rifles loaded with premium features. Built to the exacting standards that CZ is known for, these rifles deliver outstanding accuracy at an affordable price. The series includes four unique models, covering a wide range of stock materials, barrel profiles, action lengths and cartridge combinations. User-friendly options like the adjustable trigger, 60-degree bolt throw, and the ability to swap caliber without a gunsmith using an optional conversion kit adds utility.
Accuracy separates a good rifle from an outstanding rifle, and tack-driving accuracy starts with a great barrel. The CZ 600 rifle barrels are cold hammer-forged, providing smoother, more uniform bores than other manufacturing methods. This translates into smaller groups on target downrange. As a result, select 600 Series rifles deliver 1-MOA or better accuracy at 100m. Better yet, CZ engineers tweaked the 600 Range model’s design, so that it consistently rings out an impressive 0.75-MOA accuracy using factory match-grade ammunition! All barrels are threaded and suppressor-ready so the end user can add additional accessories.
Another common component of great rifles are superior triggers for improved shot-to-shot consistency. Most of the CZ 600 utilize a user-adjustable, single-stage trigger, the trail utilizes a two-stage trigger. The patented trigger adjustment allows users to customize the weight of the trigger pull without removing the chassis from the stock. The customized weight adjustments are selected on a 4-position dial with trigger weights ranging from 1.3 lbs. to 3 lbs., moving over just ½ lb. per click.
Reliability was a vital consideration in the 600 Series’ design. CZ selected the controlled round feed design for round-cycling consistency in all situations. A quiet, 2-position safety compliments this action, allowing a locked or cycling bolt with the safety on. In the field, this type of safety prevents unintentional opening. However, by depressing the bolt release you can still operate the bolt while the safety is engaged.
Shooters will love the 60-degree bolt throw, a design that increases clearance between the bolt and optic, allowing for larger scopes. In addition, it cycles considerably faster than traditional designs. All models use an oversized bolt knob for improved control with gloved hands.
Optional barrel conversion kits offer the ability to change cartridges (within the same-sized action) by swapping barrels, bolt face and magazines, without the need of a gunsmith. This lets shooters use one rifle for a wide range of shooting styles. A detachable magazine allows quick mag changes and secure magazine retention, with an optional locking feature. Magazines are designed to have the ability to be topped off through the ejection port for convenience on most models.
The 600 series rifles include four models: Alpha, Lux, Range and Trail. The 600 Alpha is the versatile hunter’s rifle. Its aluminum receiver and black soft-touch synthetic stock reduce overall weight for field use. It comes chambered in a variety of cartridges from 223 Rem to 300 Win Mag.
Classic wood furniture dresses up the 600 Lux rifle. It includes a steel receiver, wooden stock with Schnabel tip, and an oversized wooden bolt knob. The Lux is chambered for four popular hunting cartridges from 223 Rem to 300 Win Mag.
The 600 Range model is all about accuracy. In addition to the standard 600 series features, these rifles include a steel receiver, heavy barrel and laminate wood stock with a toolless height-adjustable cheekpiece.
The CZ 600 Trail is a super lightweight rifle built with an aluminum receiver, polymer chassis and aluminum forend with an M-LOCK interface. The Trail is chambered in 223 Rem or 7.62×39 and uses AR-15 or Bren 2 magazines. It also features familiar AR-15 controls (safety and mag release).

First Season of Winchester Ladies Cup Is an Astounding Success
EAST ALTON, IL (November 15, 2021) — With the introduction of the Winchester Ladies Cup in 2021 — a yearlong tour of seven major sporting clays regional championships and the recent championship finale in San Antonio, Texas — female competitors (and spectators) had renewed energy and excitement for the game. The Winchester Ladies Cup provided added incentives, more money to the winners, and promoted the shooting sports as fun and exciting entertainment.
According to the National Sporting Clays Association (NSCA), the 2021 Championship Tour, Powered by Winchester, saw a substantial increase in female competitors in 2021, resulting in more female competitors than ever before.
“I have been amazed at the excitement from people, not only female competitors but also sporting clays competitors all across the board, who are following along with the Winchester Ladies Cup this year,” said Team Winchester’s Desirae Edmunds, who finished third in the full-year points total and also helped shape the structure of the Winchester Ladies Cup. “The Winchester Ladies Cup has succeeded in drawing attention and excitement to the continually growing group of female clay target shooters. These types of opportunities and rewards have never been available for female shooters in this sport before. I am grateful and proud to stand by Winchester and their continued support of our industry.”

Female shooters, who have been challenging their male counterparts for decades, had the added incentive in 2021 of competing for the first time for the Winchester Ladies Cup across the span of the NSCA Championship Tour, Powered by Winchester. In its inaugural year, the Winchester Ladies Cup came with serious money. The top three shooters at each regional event split $5,000 (with $2,500 going to the champion, $1,500 to the runner-up and $1,000 to the third-place winner) paid out by Winchester. Then, during the grand finale in San Antonio, a $10,000 prize was split among the top three female competitors who headlined the full-season point race. More money. More incentive. More participation.
“A lot of thinking went into the Winchester Ladies Cup, and it started by looking at the current payout structure between the top male shooters and the top female shooters. There was a big difference in their earnings with the payout to the female winners being significantly lower,” said Brett Flaugher, president of Winchester Ammunition. “The Winchester Ladies Cup is an opportunity to add tremendous value to the many female sporting clays shooters across the country — a group of competitors who continue to grow each year and compete at a high level.”

At SCI’s 2022 annual convention, attendees will have the chance to win the 50th Anniversary Commemorative Rifle-Pistol Project. They plan to unveil and auction off the matching firearms at the annual convention in Las Vegas.

Coronavirus (COVID-19) Information
The Aircraft Survivability Symposium planning team is monitoring the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) situation as the health of our event participants, members, and partners remains our top priority. We are committed to following the guidelines and precautions as outlined by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and NPS. Attendees can expect to see the following at the Aircraft Survivability Symposium:
PROOF OF VACCINATION: All attendees will be required to provide proof of full vaccination within 72 hours prior to badge pick-up. Full vaccination is defined as 14-days after the second dose of a two-dose vaccine series (Pfizer-BioNTech, Moderna, AstraZeneca-SK Bio) or 14-days after a single-dose vaccine (Johnson & Johnson/Janssen). All World Health Organization-approved vaccines are accepted. Details for securely providing documentation will be provided shortly on the event website. NPS is requiring all attendees to be vaccinated, no exceptions.
FORM DD 3150: All attendees need to complete and carry with them Form DD 3150. Please download and bring this document with you.
MASKS: Masks are required of all attendees regardless of vaccination status per NPS. A very limited supply of disposable masks will be available onsite.
WAIVER: All registrants are required to sign the COVID-19 waiver during the online registration process. Attendees may disclose their vaccination status at the time of signing.
SOCIAL DISTANCING: Additional venue space will be available to allow for attendees to spread out. Additional breaks have been added to allow for air circulation.
FOOD AND BEVERAGE: Food and beverage areas will be designed to minimize touch points utilizing individually packaged or attended stations.

DeTavernier Recognized for Outstanding Season
ANOKA, Minnesota – November 12, 2021 – Federal sponsored shooter Payton DeTavernier capped off a strong season with a coveted ATA certificate. The college student at Doane University in Nebraska, earned the AAA27AAA achievement recognition in trapshooting.
To qualify for this one-time designation, DeTavernier finished the year in the Lady 1 Division with an average above 98% in Singles (2,500 targets), 96% average in Doubles (750) and being on the 27 yard-line over the course of the year.
“This is an outstanding achievement,” stated Jason Nash, VP of Marketing at Federal Ammunition. “Payton was new to the Federal Team this year and we are excited to watch her growth in the shooting sports.”
According to the ATA website, DeTavernier is one of seventeen shooters who obtained this achievement during the 2021 target season. The Doane University student shoots Federal’s line-up of Premium target loads while competing.
“This achievement is something I knew I wanted to obtain since I started shooting ATA. It shows that my hard work, dedication and commitment has paid off and I couldn’t be happier,” said DeTavernier. “I have worked extremely hard to accomplish this and I wouldn’t have been able to do it without my parents, Federal, Elite Shotguns and Kolar. It means so much to me that I have an amazing support system and people who are always there to help me.”

Replaceable Blade Knife from True Knives Means Never Going Dull
Fort Worth, Texas (November 11, 2021) – One of the most difficult parts of knife ownership is finding the time and tools to sharpen a dull blade properly. There’s nothing more annoying or dangerous than a dull knife when being used for fine tasks. Injuries from a completely or partially dull blade can be not only annoying but also life-threatening.
True brings to market a rugged and durable knife that features a unique system, allowing users to easily swap their knife blades. This Replaceable Blade Knife has a 2-step locking system and comes prepackaged with three blade options: two 3.5” drop point blades and one 3.5” saw blade.
A blade storage case is also included for a safe carry of extra blades while on the move. This unique 2-stage locking system is locked in place with the thumb stud. It slides back and forth for a lock and unlock setting. The blade must be released via a lever in the spine of the knife once unlocked.
Despite being able to replace them, each blade edge is made from 3CR13 stainless steel. 3CR13 is 0.3% carbon, 13% chromium and 0.6% nickel, along with other trace elements. This composition makes it highly corrosion-resistant while retaining a sharp edge for a longer period of time. Pairing the steel with a black oxide finish means that these blades can handle some extreme environments without showing signs of corrosion.
Black fiberglass-filled nylon scales house the liner lock system to keep the blade locked tightly in position. It is textured enough to add some gripping surface without collecting particles. A small deep pocket carry clip is attached on the right-hand side for a tip down right-handed carry. When opened, the Replaceable Blade Knife measures 8” overall, and closed it comes in at 4.5”. The knife is 0.75” thick and from top to bottom measures in at 1.5”. The overall size makes this an excellent every day carry option, fishing knife, utility knife or any various activity when general cutting is necessary.
