Caimano Nero N.A. is the non-automatic version of the tactical knife that Extrema Ratio has supplied to the G.O.I. (Operational Raiders Group) of the Italian Navy.
The blade is a 4 mm thick asymmetrical spear point. The serrated part of the edge allows to cut highly-resistant cables and fabrics without losing its sharpening.
The bottom part of the handle is designed to enhance the grip for a rapid extraction of the knife from the pocket. It is also equipped with a hard-metal glass breaker.
The DLC-coated titanium clip can be positioned in three different angles on both sides allowing to conceal the knife as much as possible inside the pocket.

Blackhawk® Athlete Zach Rodman Takes First at Utah Tactical Games
VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. – March 17, 2022 – Blackhawk®, a leader in law enforcement and military equipment for over 20 years, congratulates tactical athlete Zach Rodman on his first-place finish in the Men’s Elite Division of the Tactical Games Utah. The two-day competition, which hosted close to 200 competitors, took place March 12-13 at the Southern Utah Practical Shooting Range in Washington, Utah.
Rodman, a 15-year veteran of the Kokomo, Indiana, police force and SWAT team, utilized Blackhawk’s T-Series holster and new Foundation Series Tac Nylon gear, including plate carrier, belt, and pouches throughout the competition.
“Zach is off to a great start this season, placing 6th at the Meridian event and then following it up with a fantastic first place finish in Utah,” said Courtney Tiziani, brand marketing manager for Blackhawk. “The Men’s Elite Division is arguably the toughest classification in the Tactical Games, and it’s been no surprise to see Zach and his gear performing at an optimal level.”
Two pieces of kit that have been cornerstones to Zach’s gear list are the Blackhawk T-Series holster and Foundation Series Tac Nylon. DJI Mini 2 and Mini SE now supported in Litchi for iOS
Litchi pilots, we know you have been waiting for this! We are happy to announce that the Mini 2 and Mini SE are now fully supported in Litchi for iOS 2.12.
Flying an Air 2S? Be sure to update to the recently released Air 2S firmware v02.04.21.50 in which DJI fixed the issue where the gimbal’s position is not reported in Litchi. This update means the Air 2S is now fully supported in Litchi for Android 4.21.3.
We have also added support for the Air 2S in Litchi for iOS 2.12, however be aware that currently you can only do one autonomous or semi-autonomous flight per launch of Litchi on iOS. After that flight, a restart of Litchi is required in order to start a new one. This is caused by a bug in the DJI iOS SDK which we have reported to DJI and hope they will fix soon.

FN ANNOUNCES SAFETY RECALL FOR THE FN 502 TACTICAL
(McLean, VA – March 17, 2022) FN America, LLC announces a safety recall for the FN 502 Tactical .22LR pistol, which was previously the subject of FN’s January 27, 2022 safety bulletin. The original concern involved a missing manual safety lock lever in a small number of FN 502 Tactical pistols that would allow the discharge of the pistol when the trigger is pulled with the manual safety in the SAFE position. While investigating this issue with Umarex, the supplier of the FN 502 Tactical, we encountered a separate concern with proper installation of the manual safety lock lever. Consequently, if forced by multiple pulls of the trigger in succession, or if the pistol is jarred, an unintended firing may happen when the manual safety is in the SAFE position.
Because the safety of our customers is our primary concern, FN is voluntarily issuing a recall to address this newly discovered issue involving the safety and advising all owners of the FN 502 Tactical with a serial number lower than LR010300 to suspend use of their pistol and return the pistol to FN for repair or replacement in accordance with the recall instructions.

OVERLAND PARK, Kan. – March 16, 2022 – Bushnell®, an industry leader in performance optics, congratulates Elite Tactical pro shooter Troy Livesay on his first-place finish at the Accuracy Indiana Long Range Precision Rifle Shoot. Livesay claimed the top spot at the 1-mile match in Newberry, Indiana, for a second year in a row using the new Bushnell Elite Tactical XRS3 riflescope.
This year’s Accuracy Indiana Long Range Precision Rifle Shoot consisted of 11 stages with targets ranging from 268 to 1,760 yards (one mile). Throughout the match, shifting winds and difficult target arrays challenged competitors on each stage. Despite the tough match conditions, Livesay was able to stay one-step ahead of the other 94 competitors to claim the top overall spot. Livesay’s first place finish matched his performance from 2021, giving him back-to-back titles at the annual competition.
“Shooting long range field-style matches has always been my favorite,” Livesay said. “These types of matches force you to make good wind calls and the unpredictable environment keeps everyone on their toes. This was also my first match behind the XRS3, and it was a critical piece of coming out on top in some challenging conditions. I couldn’t be happier with clarity of the glass or its consistent tracking. The new G4P reticle gave me everything I needed and more. I can’t wait to keep shooting with it.”

The Honorary William C. Baugh CBRN Defense Excellence Award recognizes an individual who has made the greatest overall contribution to CBRN defense programs during their lifetime. Achievements for which this award will be considered may relate to any of the many components that make up this highly diverse, complex, vital commodity:
Research and development through the acquisition of capabilities needed by the warfighters and first responders;
Identification of ever-growing threats; or
Innovation in training for the current, or future fight and identifying readiness initiatives for business opportunities.
The Joseph D. Wienand NDIA CBRN Division STEM Excellence Award is in recognition of the greatest overall STEM achievement and/or efforts of an individual that most significantly impacted CBRN defense programs. Henry Raises Over $40,000 for Milah
Henry Repeating Arms Donation Raises Over $40,000 for Indiana Girl’s Cancer Treatments
RICE LAKE, WI, Mar. 15, 2022 – Henry Repeating Arms, the country’s leading lever action firearm manufacturer, is pleased to announce that its donation of 55 custom rifles raised a total of $40,660 for 4-year-old Milah Schevenius of Decatur, Indiana. The funds will provide financial assistance for the medical expenses incurred throughout Milah’s kidney cancer treatments, including several surgeries and 42 weeks of chemo and radiation. Milah was diagnosed with bilateral Wilms’ Tumor, a rare occurrence affecting only 6% of Wilms’ tumor patients.
The “Miss Milah’s Miracle” campaign is the latest fundraising effort of Henry’s Guns For Great Causes program, a charitable branch of the company that focuses on providing support for sick children, children’s hospitals, military veterans organizations, and other non-profit groups. Each rifle in the limited-edition series features a colorful, childlike design unique to Milah’s personality engraved and hand-painted on the walnut buttstocks. All of the rifles sold out within 3 hours of the initial release announcement. In addition, the online auctions for the first and last serial numbers in the limited series ended at $5,850 and $4,600, respectively.
“I am in shock; this is just still so surreal,” said Keyara Schevenius, Milah’s mother, after learning how fast the rifles sold out. “I would never have imagined how big this would get when we first heard about what Henry was doing for Milah…our little girl is so loved!”

Beretta Holding Agrees to Acquisition of RUAG Ammotec
New Group Will Have Over 50 Subsidiaries and $1.5 Billion in Revenues
Beretta Holding announced on 9 March it has entered into a binding agreement to acquire 100% of RUAG Ammotec. The parties have agreed not to disclose the financial terms of the transaction, completion of which will be subject to normal regulatory approval and closing conditions and which is expected to be completed within six months.
“This is a very special moment in the history of our Group. We warmly welcome the more than 2,700 employees of RUAG Ammotec to our Group, having worked almost three years on this project,” stated Pietro Gussalli Beretta, President and CEO of Beretta Holding. During that period, there has been clear recognition of the excellent cultural fit between the two organisations, and that RUAG Ammotec has a strong, experienced and competent management team in place. “We have the firearms and the optics, RUAG Ammotec has the ammo – there is almost no overlap, explained Beretta”.
There are also strong synergies in R&D and distribution, which will lead to strengthening the enlarged group’s European business and further develop its global footprint. “This new addition to our group will add a substantial number of high-end brands to our existing portfolio of premium brands,” Beretta added. As requested by the Swiss government, Beretta commits to maintaining the existing locations and has specifically agreed to maintaining 400 jobs at the Thun facility for at least five years, according to a RUAG statement.
From a RUAG International perspective, the sale of the Ammotec division fits perfectly with its evolving strategy of becoming an agile technology provider with a focus on space. “We are taking the next step to withdraw from the defence-related business completely. We are pleased to have found a renowned industrial partner for Ammotec in Beretta, who will take over all employees and the Thun site. With its industry experience and global presence, Beretta offers the best conditions to sustainably grow Ammotec’s business activities for the benefit of customers and employees,” explained André Wall, RUAG International CEO.
Beretta has been family-owned for nearly 500 years – since Mastro Bartolomeo Beretta was commissioned to provide arquebus barrels for the Venice Arsenal in 1526. Post acquisition, Beretta Holding Group will encompass some 6,000 employees and will have revenues of approx. €1.5 billion. It will add five manufacturing sites and 16 new companies in 12 countries, meaning there will be over 50 subsidiaries worldwide.

Brownells Announces Mag Dump for Washington State
GRINNELL, Iowa (March 14, 2022) -– In response to the standard-capacity magazine ban passed in Washington state, Brownells will donate $2.00 to the Washington-based Second Amendment Foundation (SAF) for every aluminum Brownells AR-15 magazine sold. SAF is currently planning to file a lawsuit against the state of Washington on behalf of gun owners in the state.
The Brownells Mag Dump donation event lasts through June 24 and has two main goals.
The first is to help Washington state gun owners procure reliable, proven, standard-capacity magazines for their AR-15 style firearms – before the ban goes into effect – to help guarantee their ability to exercise their 2nd Amendment rights and freedoms.
The second is to supply cash to the Second Amendment Foundation that will be earmarked to help fund a lawsuit to be filed against the ban on all magazines that hold more than 10 rounds.

Kim has been shooting Winchester ammunition products in training and competition for more than 30 years.

About Kim Rhode
Kim Rhode’s journey with Winchester began when she was 10 years old. Winchester employee Sandy Wood met her at a shooting event in California and the rest is history.
Over the next 33 years, Rhode blazed a path through the shooting sports that is unequaled. Her six Olympic medals, including three gold medals while competing in the multiple disciplines of Double trap, bunker trap and international skeet make her the most decorated shooting sports athlete of all time.
At age 13, Kim won her first world championship in American skeet. In International Shooting Sports Federation (ISSF) competition, Kim has 29 gold medals along with gold medals in five Pan American Games.

AKTI Enlists Industry Veterans to Assist With Marketing Efforts
CODY, WY – The American Knife and Tool Institute is pleased to announce it has engaged a duo of marketing specialists with experience in the knife industry to assist in communication, outreach and branding to support the organization’s non-profit mission.
Matt Crawford and Jay Stilwell, who previously worked together with SOG Knives & Tools, will begin work as marketing support specialists for AKTI immediately. The two will work closely with AKTI’s marketing committee to create and execute marketing and communication strategies for AKTI programs, events and initiatives to increase awareness, audience and membership.
“Matt and Jay both played roles in assisting SOG to rebuild its brand over the last few years and we’re looking forward to them helping us raise AKTI’s profile and increase our communication,” said Jan Billeb, Executive Director of AKTI. “We are thrilled to have them with their deep knowledge of both the knife industry and marketing to deliver a solidified voice to all audiences that interact with our advocacy organization.”
The American Knife & Tool Institute is a non-profit organization representing all segments of the knife industry and all knife users. OWENS CROSS ROADS, Ala. (March 14, 2022) — AG Composites, a veteran-owned manufacturer of premium composite rifle stocks, has begun enthusiastically supporting Oconto River Kids (ORK), a Wisconsin-based non-profit volunteer charity group dedicated to providing hunting and fishing opportunities for children with life-threatening illnesses and their families.
“When AGC’s Matt Tandy asked how the company could help ORK, we advised of our need to set up one of our shooting systems with a shorter stock, one that would fit 12-year old Cain, a smaller-framed shooter who has been battling cancer for six years now,” said Brandon Baudhuin, Oconto River Kids Western Hunt Coordinator. “AG built, inletted, and sent that youth stock our way in short order. After a quick stock swap on our Bergara Premier Mountain 2.0, we had a rifle that was perfect for Cain. It was really that simple. The fit was perfect and Cain was soon shooting tiny little groups with it at the range — and later harvested a tremendous antelope and bull elk in the high desert of Wyoming. AG Composites was amazing with their monetary support of our mission and equipment support for this hunt of a lifetime.
“In the three years that Oconto River Kids has been operating in Wyoming, our youth hunters have harvested 20-plus big game animals, with about 60 percent of those using one of our AG Composites outfitted rifles. We cannot thank this veteran-owned company enough for their continued support.”

They immediately recognized the possibilities and identified other key individuals who shared their vision and passion. That group of individuals dedicated themselves to the idea and moved forward to create Oconto River Kids. The group continues to grow, but maintains its simple grass roots approach to providing unique hunting and fishing experiences for children with life threatening illnesses and their families. In 2014 Oconto River Kids reached a milestone when it was incorporated as a non-for-profit corporation in the State of Wisconsin and now operates as a Wisconsin charitable organization.
