For those of you that know Jason, odds are good you are somehow woven into his story. Jason’s love of the Wild Turkey, South Carolina’s low country, and people define who he is. Jason rarely meets a stranger and is a friend to so many. Jason’s love affair with the Wild Turkey has been a lifelong pursuit, culminating in his completion of the US Super Slam last spring. In a way fitting of Jason, he was inspired to pursue the US Super Slam by the passing of a dear friend in 2013. “Following the Hart” tells Jason’s story through the eyes of his friends, in a way fitting Jason.

Adaptable to all scenarios, the lightweight, wearable protection system provides protection from trauma injuries. The GAL VPS absorbs massive kinetic trauma, reducing and diverting the force of a blow to the body. Like all crossbows in the Hyper™ series, the HyperTac 420 is paired with Barnett’s exclusive and patent-pending 22-inch, .204-diameter HyperFlite arrows. The arrow’s 21% increased FOC (front of center) and 61% greater ballistic coefficient reduces wind drift, making for a deadly combination of blistering speed, down-range accuracy, and deeper penetration. HyperFlite arrows provide more than 25% deeper penetration on impact than the competition and are built with a straightness tolerance of +/- .001 inch. The new capture nock increases string-to-nock engagement by 30% resulting in better accuracy while reducing string wear and eliminating dry fires. Arrows are held secure with Barnett’s Soft Lok™ Floating Bristle Arrow Retainer System, and CNC machined aluminum flight track provides consistency shot after shot.

The HyperTac 420 also features a metal-injected molded trigger and TriggerTech™ Frictionless Release Technology (a $200 value). The TriggerTech trigger provides a reliable, crisp, 3-pound pull for consistent shots and improved accuracy. This is another example of how Barnett leads the industry in innovation and value. An Anti-Dry Fire (ADF) system and a nock sensor are added to ensure the crossbow is loaded correctly.

A customized fit and innovative features complete the HyperTac 420 shooting experience. Kansas City, KS (May 31, 2022) – The wait is over for southpaw shooters coveting CZ’s latest generation of precision rimfire rifles. CZ-USA proudly introduces two left-hand 457 rifles – the Varmint in .22 LR and American in .22 LR or .22 WMR – tailored for left-hand shooters.

These new models inherit the advanced features of the CZ 457 series of bolt action rifles but with left-hand comfort and ease of use. The bolt, push-to-fire safety, and a separate bolt extractor control mirror right-hand rifle models for left-hand comfort. The striker status indicator located at the rear of the bolt provides a quick visual check while hunting or competition shooting. A shortened 60° bolt throw allows rapid and convenient reloading and increases clearance between the bolt and mounted optics.

CZ 457 rifles feature an adjustable trigger mechanism with a low trigger pull weight, creep, and customizable travel. While limiting the carrier to a relatively small handgun, pocket carry offers some unique advantages. Not only is the handgun completely covered and concealed, but the gun carrier can casually place a hand on the holstered/pocketed pistol if a nonspecific threat materializes – and the fastest draw is to have the gun already in hand.

Galco’s pocket holsters greatly minimize shifting of the handgun in the pocket, allowing for a fast and sure grip acquisition when drawing. The holster covers the trigger to prevent entanglement with foreign objects and adds a safety barrier between fingers and trigger when acquiring a firing grip. It conceals the shape of the handgun so its outline doesn’t print through the pocket, and allows one-handed release of the handgun from both pocket and holster.

The holster’s hooked shape – at the base of the handgun’s trigger guard – is designed to catch on the pocket so that, with practice (using an unloaded firearm) and while using the proper pants, the firearm can be drawn while the holster remains in the pocket or falls away.

IMPORTANT SAFETY RECALL NOTICE REGARDING CZ 600 BOLT-ACTION RIFLES

Česká zbrojovka (“CZ”) has recently learned of a potential safety issue with the CZ 600 bolt-action rifles. CZ is voluntarily initiating a recall of these rifles in order to protect the safety of its customers because of the potential for failure if the barrel is not installed correctly.

To prevent the possibility of death or serious personal injury, you should immediately stop using your CZ 600 rifle and do not fire it until it has been returned to CZ for inspection and to have the barrel screws affixed with thread lock. 

CZ 600 rifles were designed to allow the users to replace the barrels themselves to change the caliber.  CZ has learned that if the barrel is improperly installed, it is possible that the rifle could still be fired, but potentially result in a failure.

Based on the CZ values of providing the best, most reliable products and never compromising our customers’ safety, we have decided to issue a safety recall on the CZ 600 rifles.  CZ will correct the issue by permanently installing the barrels in CZ 600 rifles. To minimize the risk of improper assembly, barrel replacement and caliber conversions are now available only through authorized service centers. The replacement or removal of the barrel outside of the authorized service centers will void the warranty.

The Henry Nettleton Cavalry is a 45LC single-action, six-shooter with a 7 ½-inch barrel in a standard blue finish with walnut grips. What makes the Henry Nettleton model so unique is that Nettleton, a US Principal Sub-Inspector for the US Ordnance Department in 1878, only inspected and stamped about 3,000 guns. Many of the guns Nettleton inspected were later refurbished for the NY Militia and barrels were cut down to 5 ½-inches and case hardened along with the cylinder, hammer and trigger, and trigger guard. The Cimarron US Cavalry 1873 Henry Nettleton pays respect to the original 1st generation Colt government models inspected by Henry Nettleton, down to the details of proof marks and all of Nettleton’s inspection stamps using the exact same fonts and placements as the originals. By utilizing the meticulously designed single-port compensator, recoil is tamed and muzzle rise is reduced. The Fire Hawk features a bull barrel and full-length guide rod. Using a commander length spring and reverse plug, Nighthawk Custom has maintained the standard stroke of a 5-inch 1911 for reliability. The lightened slide reduces reciprocating mass and delivers flat shooting performance without increasing the size of the pistol. 

A French border ties together both the slide and the compensator for a seamless look, while the one-piece magwell allows for smoother reloads.
