NSSF Applauds Senator Steve Daines’s FIND Act Bill

NEWTOWN, Conn. — NSSF®, the firearm industry trade association, welcomed the introduction of S. 4435, the Firearm Industry Nondiscrimination (FIND) Act, into the U.S. Senate by Sen. Steve Daines (R-Mont.). This vital legislation will end the ability of corporate entities from profiting off of taxpayer-funded federal contracts while discriminating against a Constitutionally-protected industry at the same time.

“Senator Daines’s legislation is crucial to protecting against ‘woke’ corporations that use their financial might, funded by taxpayers, to deny essential services to companies in the firearm industry,” said Lawrence G. Keane, NSSF Senior Vice President and General Counsel. “Corporations, in particular financial institutions, have been forcing their own public policy agendas that discriminate against firearm businesses, which are Constitutionally-protected. This bill will ensure public policies are crafted by the elected officials the American public sends to represent them and not unaccountable corporation executives that benefit from taxpayer dollars while at the same time using those funds to deny Americans their Second Amendment rights. We thank Senator Daines for his leadership to ensure fairness in business, reasserting Congress’s role in ensuring the federal government isn’t picking winners and losers in the marketplace based on politics and protecting the ability of a lawful industry to compete for goods and services without artificial and agenda-driven barriers.”

Sen. Daines’s FIND Act doesn’t tell companies with whom they must do business. However, just as companies can choose who they wish to do business with, so can the government when it spends taxpayers money. This bill ensures corporations cannot benefit from contracts and subcontracts funded by taxpayers only to use their financial strength to unfairly discriminate against members of the firearm industry. For far too long, corporations have engaged in “boardroom gun control” to force firearm businesses to adopt measures that would restrict Americans’ Second Amendment rights. Corporations are free to hold these anti-Second Amendment policies if they choose but would forfeit access to compete for federal contracts.

Texas Republican Governor Greg Abbott signed a similar law in his state in 2021 and similar legislation is being considered in other state capitols. Senator Daines’s legislation would bring those same fair business protections to the federal government to ensure corporate entities are not forcing policies that deny American civil liberties through the benefit of taxpayer-funded federal contracts. Similar legislation was recently introduced in the U.S. House of Representatives by Congressman Jack Bergman (R-Mich.) as H.R. 6970.

Under Senate Bill 215, which went into effect, Monday, June 13, 2022, gun owners 21 or older can carry a concealed handgun without a permit. This new law also means they can legally possess a handgun without a license, training, or a background check.

According to U.S. LawShield President, Kirk Evans, “Even with this new law passed in Ohio, restrictions on carrying guns in certain places like courthouses remain in place. Understanding the new law will be important for handgun owners who want to carry without a permit because gun laws are complex and could place you in a difficult position if you don’t follow them.”

Permitless carry doesn’t mean that everyone can just carry because they want to. It’s important to know who can carry, where you can carry, etc. Without having your concealed carry license or CCW, you could be completely unaware that you’re committing a felony. Ignorance of the law isn’t an excuse.”

NDIA applauds congressional Armed Services committees for NDAA actions

ARLINGTON, VA — The National Defense Industrial Association issues Wednesday, June 22, the following statement on congressional actions for the fiscal year 2023 National Defense Authorization Act committee marks:

NDIA applauds the bipartisan House 42-17 vote this afternoon to increase the topline and commends the congressional Armed Services committees for moving forward with their individual marks on the forthcoming National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) for fiscal year 2023. We look forward to a 62nd consecutive passage of the authorities critical to defense that ensure our troops have the equipment and resources necessary to carry out their missions.

Both bills continue support for current readiness, increased warfighting capabilities, investment in new technologies, and replenishing critical munitions.

NDIA is especially pleased with the 23-3 vote of the SASC to increase the topline to $847 billion. The additional increase over the president’s budget request will help answer inflation and provide the authorization of appropriation needed to implement the National Defense Strategy. We call upon Congress to find a similar bipartisan agreement to properly fund the defense appropriations bills.

NDIA CEO and President HON David L. Norquist commends the votes, stating, “Inflation is our reality, and we cannot dismiss its effect on the Defense Department. These overwhelming bipartisan votes are a recognition of our strategic challenges and a commitment across the aisle to ensure national security is sound and it remains a priority.”

NDIA will be following closely as the NDAA progresses through the respective chambers to conference. We encourage an on-time passage of the bill to ensure our nation has the authorizations necessary for our national defense.

The inclusion this afternoon by HASC of an amendment in the en bloc package No. 1 to reauthorize the Small Business Innovation and Research Program affirms NDIA and its small-business members’ efforts. The authority, set to expire at the end of the fiscal year, provides critical capabilities to DoD. We commend these efforts and hope to see a similar provision included in the Senate’s mark.

Survivor® X Offers 250 Lumens, New Features and Multiple Power Choices

EAGLEVILLE, PA, June 21, 2022 – Streamlight® Inc., a leading manufacturer of high-performance flashlights for fire/rescue and industrial professionals, introduced the Survivor® X, an updated version of its popular Survivor right-angle light, now offering 250 lumens, new features for improved operation, and multiple power options to suit user needs and budgets. The low-profile light is available as a Rechargeable System or in an economical Alkaline Model, both for use in Division 1 hazardous environments. Also available is the Survivor X® USB, a budget-friendly USB rechargeable option for use in Division 2 conditions.

“The Survivor personal light, known the world over for its toughness, compact size and reliability, just got even better with the new Survivor X, which not only offers enhanced brightness and added features, but also multiple power options, including the Survivor X Alkaline model which provides a 25 percent cost savings on batteries, as well as the Survivor X USB which offers an economical USB rechargeable alternative and also accepts alkaline batteries,” said Streamlight Chief Revenue Officer Michael F. Dineen. “Fire and rescue personnel, industrial firefighters, utility workers and others now have an even more powerful and versatile tool to use when operating in the trying conditions they often face.”

Also available as a Rechargeable System or Alkaline Model is the Survivor X ATEX, pending approval, for Zone 0 gas and Zone 20 dust atmospheres.

The new light features several improvements in response to user feedback, including:

An easy-to-operate battery door that provides a tight, dust-resistant seal
A battery status indicator in the switch that turns red when the battery is nearing low voltage, flashes continuously when there are 15 minutes of battery life left and turns green when the battery is fully charged
An improved charge cradle design that locks the light securely in place, while also featuring a quick-release latch to permit one-handed “grab and go” removal, even with gloved hands. In addition to energizing the new Survivor X, the new charger also charges all existing Survivor models.

The Survivor X features the latest in power technology for extreme brightness and offers microprocessor-controlled high and low intensity and emergency flash modes. The Rechargeable System operates on a 2.6Ahr Lithium-Ion battery pack, which can be recharged up to 1,000 times, while the Survivor X Alkaline Model uses three AA alkaline batteries. The Survivor X USB is powered by an included Streamlight SL-B26® Lithium-Ion battery pack with micro-USB port, and also accepts three AA alkaline batteries. Both the Survivor X Alkaline and the Survivor X USB utilize the same battery carrier.

On high, all models deliver 250 lumens and 50,000 candela over a beam distance of 447 meters. The light’s custom optic produces a narrow beam, ideal for cutting through smoke, fog and mist, while also providing optimum peripheral illumination to aid in navigation. Operating run times for all three models range from 3.75 hours on high to 15 hours on low, with 8 hours on the flash setting, based on battery type.

Rechargeable System models are available with AC and DC chargers. An indicator in the charger turns red when charging and green when the light is fully charged. A bank charger accessory that charges five units simultaneously is available. An eight-unit SL-B26 Li-Ion USB battery bank charger that charges eight USB batteries simultaneously is available as an accessory for the Survivor X USB model.

The Survivor X features a low-profile, compact bezel that prevents snagging when putting on gear or equipment. The light’s reinforced, built-in attachment D-ring and updated spring-loaded clip offer superior retention, ensuring the light consistently hangs forward, and conveniently latches to belts and harnesses. Its rubber dome push-button switch is easy to use, even with gloves, and its super-tough nylon housing provides exceptional durability.

All openings are O-ring sealed to resist moisture, including the light’s unbreakable polycarbonate lens with silicone anti-scratch coating, assembled in a heavy-duty bezel. The light has an IP67-rated design for dust-tight use and waterproof operation to 1 meter for 30 minutes. The light is also impact resistance-tested to 2 meters.

The Survivor X has an MSRP that ranges from $125.00 to $275.00, depending on the model. It is available in orange or yellow.

Coronavirus (COVID-19) Information

The CBRN planning team is monitoring the COVID-19 situation as the health of our event participants, members, and partners remains our top priority. We are committed to following the guidelines and precautions as outlined by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the venue. Attendees should adhere to the following at the conference:

PROOF OF VACCINATION: All attendees will be required to provide proof of vaccination or proof of negative COVID-19 test within 72 hours prior to badge pick-up. NDIA will only allow the following tests that are administered by a medical professional: Rapid Antigen, Rapid PCR, and Regular PCR tests. Proof of antibodies or self-administered/at-home tests will not be accepted. COVID testing is the financial responsibility of the attendee.
MASKS: Attendees who are fully vaccinated (defined as 2 weeks after a 2 dose vaccine or 2 weeks after a single dose vaccine) may choose to wear a mask. Attendees who are unvaccinated will be required to wear a mask at all times indoors.
WAIVER: All registrants are required to sign the COVID-19 waiver during the online registration process. Attendees may disclose their vaccination status at the time of signing.
SOCIAL DISTANCING: Additional venue space will be available to allow for attendees to spread out.
FOOD AND BEVERAGE: Food and beverage areas will be designed to minimize touchpoints utilizing individually packaged or attended stations.

Tarpon Springs, FL (June 21, 2022) – The Hyper XP 405 is built around the narrow diameter HyperFlite arrow. Barnett is the 1st crossbow company to improve the “ammo” in the crossbow category by advancing the technology of narrow diameter arrows into the crossbow platform. The increasing the arrow’s 21% FOC and 61% greater ballistic coefficient reduce wind drift and improve downrange accuracy.

As a result, the Hyper XP 405 sends the small-diameter HyperFlite™ arrows downrange with incredible speed – up to 405 ft. per second and delivers 138 ft. lbs. of kinetic energy! The Hyper nock increases string-to-nock engagement by 30 percent resulting in increased accuracy, reduced string wear, and no dry fires. The arrows boast a straightness tolerance of +/- .001 inches for supreme accuracy and consistency.

The Hyper XP 405 also features a metal-injected molded trigger and TriggerTech™ Frictionless Release Technology (a $200 value). This provides a reliable, crisp, 3-pound pull for consistent shots and improved accuracy. An Anti-Dry Fire (ADF) system and a nock sensor ensure the crossbow cannot fire unless the arrow is loaded correctly. Finger safety reminders above the generous pass-through foregrip keep fingers well out of the string path, and an adjustable buttstock allows for a perfect length-of-pull fit so the XP 405 can be fitted for youth, women and men.

The 4-5x32mm red/green illuminated scope offers precise target acquisition in a full range of ambient light conditions from twilight to high noon. A multi-position premium quiver completes the package for the ultimate shooting experience. Last but not least, the Hyper XP 405 features a simple, three-bolt assembly, one bolt to attach the riser to the rail and two screws to attach the foot stirrup.

Philadelphia Campaign Targets Illegal Gun Purchases

NSSF, ATF, DOJ Emphasize ‘Don’t Lie for the Other Guy™’

Philadelphia, Pa. — As part of an ongoing national effort to help prevent illegal “straw” purchases of firearms, NSSF®, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) and the Department of Justice (DOJ) are reminding the Greater Philadelphia area public that stiff penalties are in place for individuals convicted of such unlawful purchases. The campaign is in its 22nd year and is a cornerstone of the cooperative relationship of the firearm industry, law enforcement and retailers.

Billboard, radio, social media, streaming audio and digital advertisements for the “Don’t Lie for the Other Guy” program have been purchased by NSSF in key locations throughout the region with the message: “Buy a gun for someone who can’t and buy yourself 10 years in jail. Don’t Lie for the Other Guy.” The month-long public awareness campaign was officially launched today.

The Philadelphia area “Don’t Lie” campaign includes more than 11 outdoor billboards, digital bulletin boards and posters. There are also more than 450 radio spots playing and 600,000 digital streaming radio service impressions. On social media, “Don’t Lie” advertisements total more than 1.5 million targeted geofenced online mobile advertisements on Facebook and Instagram impressions. In addition, there will be more than 600 Philadelphia public transit advertisements on commuter rail and bus services. Philadelphia was chosen for this special campaign by ATF. No taxpayer dollars are used. The program is funded in full by the firearm industry.

“The firearm industry has always been fully committed to keeping firearms out of the hands of those who should not possess them. We are proud of our more than two-decade cooperative relationship with the ATF, the DOJ and the entire law enforcement community to assist them in their collective efforts to reduce criminal acquisition and misuse of firearms. We’re pleased to work with our partners at DOJ and ATF to launch this “Don’t Lie” campaign in Philadelphia this summer,” said NSSF President and CEO Joe Bartozzi.

“Don’t Lie” is a cooperative program between ATF, DOJ and NSSF, the trade association for the firearm and ammunition industry. The effort was developed more than a two decades ago to raise public awareness about the seriousness of the crime of purchasing a firearm for someone who cannot legally do so. The program also helps ATF educate firearm retailers to be better prepared to deter potential straw purchases. The public campaign drives home the message that anyone attempting an illegal firearm purchase faces a stiff federal felony penalty of up to 10 years in jail or up to $250,000 in fines.

To legally purchase a firearm, a person must be able to pass an FBI National Instant Criminal Background Check System, or NICS check, and fully comply with all state and local laws. When a criminal knows he or she cannot pass this check, they may try to induce a friend or other person to make the purchase on their behalf. This is known as a straw purchase and is a felony.

This public awareness campaign constitutes only part of the “Don’t Lie for the Other Guy” outreach effort. The full “Don’t Lie for the Other Guy” program, which also involves educating firearm retailers to better detect and prevent straw purchases, has been rolled out in major cities throughout the country. In the retailer segment, federal firearms licensees are provided a “Don’t Lie for the Other Guy” retailer kit containing a training video and informational brochure for storeowners and staff, as well as point-of-purchase displays aimed to deter illegal straw purchases.

June 21, 2022: In light of the growing security threats in Europe, DIEHL Defence and RAFAEL are strengthening their partnership by introducing for the first time the recently-unveiled SPICE 250 ER, alongside the gliding SPICE 250 as a system intended to be manufactured in Germany by DIEHL Defence.

SPICE 250 is the smallest of the SPICE Family, which includes the SPICE 250, SPICE 1000, and SPICE 2000. SPICE is a stand-off, air-to-surface weapon system that strikes targets with pinpoint accuracy and at high attack volumes, independent of GPS, by applying scene-matching algorithms. SPICE is combat-proven and in service with the IAF and with a number of international customers.

SPICE 250 ER preserves the same characteristics of the SPICE 250, incorporating a small turbojet engine to provide substantial range extension, enabling stand-off range for the modern dynamic battle field and new advanced SAM threats, while retaining the same mission-planning system, aircraft interfaces, and aircrew operation. This combines the advantages of both variants (gliding and propelled) while significantly decreasing the integration effort.

The SPICE 250 and the ER variant deliver a unique array of homing modes which maximize mission success rate while minimizing collateral damage. They also incorporate a net-enabled digital data link which allows a Human-in-the-Loop capability, abort-mission command, and BDI.

The combination of increased loadout of SPICE 250 variants, unique homing methods for various scenarios, and extended range enables a high volume and precise strike capability against multiple target types at reduced cost.

US and Indonesian air forces commence exercise Cope West 22.

The latest iteration of the exercise is being conducted at Abdulrachman Saleh Air Force Base (AFB) in Malang, Indonesia. The US Air Force (USAF) and the Indonesian Air Force have commenced a bilateral tactical airlift exercise called Cope West 22 (CW22) in Indonesia. The exercise is being conducted at Abdulrachman Saleh Air Force Base (AFB) in Malang and will run from 17 to 24 June. Around 70 service members from the USAF’s 374th Airlift Wing (AW) from Yokota AFB in Japan will be participating in this exercise. The USAF’s two C-130 Hercules aircraft from Yokota AFB along with two C-130s from the Indonesian Air Force will also be a part of the latest iteration. 36th Airlift Squadron commander lieutenant colonel Kira Coffey said: “Cope West allows us to strengthen our partnership with one of our most valuable partners in South-East Asia. “This year, we are focused on developing and expanding our combined airlift capabilities with the Indonesian Air Force.”

US and Indonesian contingents will participate in personnel and equipment airdrop, rigging, formation, all-weather and night flight operations, among other capabilities integral to a variety of bilateral missions.

Coffey added: “The tactics, techniques, and procedures we exchange with the Indonesian Air Force in Cope West help prepare us for a real-life event in which we will have to work together to secure common interests.

“We are going to ‘practise how we would play’ and be stronger as a result.”

Cope West was first conducted in 1989, and this is the ninth time that the tactical airlift exercise is being hosted in Indonesia.

Selecting Protective Eyewear for Shooting Sports

Understand the basics, details, and variables to determine which shooting glasses are best for you

CANTON, MA (June 15, 2022) – Protective eyewear is a must for anyone actively using firearms. Whether hunting, plinking or target shooting, proper safety eyewear will help protect your eyes from common hazards like ejected casings, as well as less-common but potentially more-severe threats resulting from catastrophic firearms failures. Understand that while shooting eyewear should always be selected for its protective qualities first, other variables can actually help to improve visual acuity and, ultimately, shooting performance.

Protection First

Selecting shooting sports eyewear should always begin with the consideration of impact resistance, and an understanding that your standard eyeglasses or sunglasses probably don’t provide enough protection. Safety eyewear must conform to a higher standard of impact resistance than regular eyeglasses and sunglasses. This higher standard applies to both the lenses and the frames.

In the United States, safety glasses are tested to ensure they meet or exceed the ANSI Z87.1 standard. This standard is established and periodically updated by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). Eyewear with this key certification has passed basic-impact testing (both frames and lenses) and is marked “Z87” on the temples. Prescription safety eyewear which has met or exceeded ANSI Z87 standards is marked “Z87-2”. Finally, safety eyewear marked “Z87+” has lenses that have passed high-impact testing.

Shooting sports enthusiasts don’t need to spend a lot for top-quality shooting glasses. Howard Leight UVEX Genesis eyewear meets ANSI Z87.1-2015 high-impact standards, as well as the Military V0 ballistic test for impact. Available with clear, amber, or vermillion wraparound uni-lenses, Genesis features a soft and flexible ventilated brow guard, plus adjustable temples and nose piece for maximum comfort and a customized fit. In the world of safety eyewear, “ballistic-rated” means military-grade impact protection. Such safety eyewear is designed and tested to survive the U.S. military’s high-speed impact and fragmentation standards, which exceed ANSI Z87.1 high-impact standards. Military V0 ballistic-rated eyewear must be able to withstand up to a .15 caliber projectile fired at the lens and frame at 64 feet per second.

Fit

In addition to choosing shooting glasses that have been tested, certified and marked to meet ANSI Z87.1 standards, fit is an important consideration that affects both comfort and performance. Look for comfortable wraparound designs that fit close to the face and afford ample side protection. Such designs minimize the potential for ejected casings – often from adjacent shooting lanes at the range – to find their way between the face and the lens. Wraparound frame designs also typically fit well and provide the most comfort with popular earmuff-style hearing protection.

Optical Quality

Good shooting glasses should sharpen visual acuity, not hamper it. Unfortunately, poor materials, engineering or production methods can result in shooting glasses with compromised optical quality.

“Poor optical quality can result in visual distortion, lack of visual clarity or a narrowed field of view,” says Nancy Kufferman, Senior Offering Manager for Honeywell Howard Leight. “Similar to putting on a pair of eyeglasses that are the wrong prescription, these conditions can cause the wearer’s eyes to work harder by straining to overcome the distortion, even when the distortion is not immediately apparent. The result can range from a simple reduction in shooting performance to headaches and – even worse – long-term vision damage.”

Unfortunately for consumers, there are no established universal standards that regulate the optical quality of safety eyewear, so shooting sports enthusiasts are well-served to choose their safety eyewear from a reputable and well-established manufacturer. Howard Leight Shooting Sports Uvex eyewear offers superior optical clarity derived from quality materials and decades of documented excellence in engineering and production.

Lens Color and Coatings

Aside from impact resistance, fit and optical quality, a variety of other factors can contribute to the overall performance of shooting sports eyewear. Lens tints and coatings are chief among such factors and can help optimize visual acuity in different situations.

Clear lenses offer the highest possible light transmission, making them suitable and highly popular choices for most indoor and outdoor shooting environments. A reflecting clear lens like the SCT-Reflect 50 Mirror lens tint offered by Howard Leight counters glare that can cause eye strain and is ideal for transitioning from indoors to outdoors.

Amber-tinted lenses are a wonderful all-around choice for waterfowling, other wingshooting, and clay games. They help to improve contrast and depth perception so smaller, fast-flying targets can be picked up and tracked more easily. They’re also great for use at outdoor rifle or pistol ranges, especially beneath overcast skies. Next to clear, amber lenses have the best visible light transmission at about 90 percent, which is why they perform so well in low-light conditions.

Orange lens tints absorb blue and green light to help reduce eye fatigue. This makes orange lenses a good option for extended wear during all-day hunts or range outings. This tint also reduces haze and glare, making it a popular tint for many outdoor shooting situations.

Vermillion lenses may be the very best choice for sporting clays, trap or skeet. The tint accentuates orange colors, helping the eyes lock in on fast-flying orange clay targets. This attribute shines when the targets are flying against a busy backdrop full of trees and vegetation, which is very common on many sporting clays courses.

Beyond lens tint, lens coatings further improve performance. The most common forms of lens coatings guard against harmful ultraviolet rays, scratches that can send an otherwise good set of protective eyewear to the trash can prematurely, and also protect against fogging that hinders clear vision.

Fogging is a common problem shooters face. Lenses fog for a number of reasons, all of which are related to temperature and humidity. When sudden changes in temperature occur, small pockets of moisture condense on the lens, causing a hazy-white fog to form. Funeral services for, George C. Trulock Jr. 69, of Whigham, GA, are at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, June 16, 2022, at Trinity Primitive Baptist Church, Whigham, GA. Elder John Mizell will officiate. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Whigham, GA. Mr. Trulock passed away at Archbold Medical Hospital, Thomasville. GA, on Monday, June 13, 2022.

George was a machinist by trade who owned and operated Trulock Tool Company in Whigham GA. He was a member of Whigham Baptist Church.

Survivors include: his wife; son, Scott Trulock (Jana) of Whigham, GA, Jerrod Trulock of Whigham, GA; grandchildren; Rylee Trulock, Rett Groeneveld, Lorelei Trulock, Kayli Trulock, of Whigham, GA; sister, Patti Faulkner (Butch) of Merrit Island, FL; nieces and nephews, Jesse, Grace, Luke, Delani, Jason, Jennifer, Bobby Jr. Rich, Brooke, Lafe, and Samantha.

He was proceeded in death by his parents, father and mother-in-law, Tommie and Annie Mae Perkins and nephew Garrett Pyles

Avon Protection has developed a new range of products to protect military personnel operating in CBRN environments: the EXOSKIN-B1 High Traction CBRN Boots and EXOSKIN-G1 Tactile CBRN Gloves.

The CBRN threat is a growing concern for military forces, with the use of chemical weapons rising among both state actors and terrorist groups. In response, Avon Protection developed the EXOSKIN range of boots and gloves to supplement its CBRN respiratory protection products to protect personnel without compromising the wearer’s tactical agility in the field.

Designed to allow for the handling and operation of electronic touch screen devices, the EXOSKIN-G1 glove offers a critical operational advantage. The ambidextrous glove features a rubberized outer layer textured to maintain grip in wet conditions, with an intelligent, seamless inner knitted liner that has a conductive tip on both the thumb and forefinger. Together these layers optimize the wearer’s dexterity and allow them to complete their mission safely.

The EXOSKIN-B1 boot provides improved durability and agility in the field, with quick-release straps to secure the garment over standard footwear. A highly textured sole improves the wearer’s maneuverability in all underfoot conditions. In addition, it is 100 percent leak tested.

Dynamic new unmanned ground platform provides unmatched strength and mobility

PARIS, June 13, 2022 ― Teledyne FLIR Defense, part of Teledyne Technologies Incorporated (NYSE:TDY), announced today at Eurosatory the launch of its new Kobra™ 725 modular robot. The tracked multi-mission platform delivers new capabilities and technology upgrades to the Kobra 710 unmanned ground system, with the lift capacity and mobility customers demand for operations in the harshest conditions.

The Kobra 725 provides unmatched power and payload support in an easy-to-operate package. The robot’s advanced manipulator arm can lift heavy loads and stretches to a height of nearly four meters to access hard-to-reach places. At less than 250 kg, the rugged Kobra 725 is highly maneuverable, even in rough terrain, climbs stairs, and even surmounts jersey barriers. New technology includes full-HD cameras, wide angle visual/thermal mobility cameras, field-swappable radio modules, and AES-256 encryption.
