This patented design is so reliable that one can mix heavy and light loads in the same magazine without a hiccup.

The PS Turkey Hunter is available in two camo patterns: RealTree® Timber and Mossy Oak® BottomLand. Each gun ships with 3 interchangeable chokes suitable for a variety of turkey hunting situations. A 5-inch long cantilever optics rail features 4 cross-slots to accommodate a variety of Weaver mounts. The gun is also equipped with bright fiber optic front and rear sights for low-light hunting. The red front fiber is windage adjustable while the rear green fiber sight is both windage and elevation adjustable. Both fibers can be removed entirely to make way for mounted optics. All Hatsan’s barrels are hard chrome-lined for maximum durability and corrosion resistance. Safety is a significant concern for any firearm, so a manual cross-button safety is built in. Mounted sling studs make for easy carry and firing support.

NSSF Statement on Oregon Measure 114 Update

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Today, a federal judge in Oregon stayed the implementation of Oregon Ballot Measure 114’s “permit-to-purchase” scheme after the State admitted in a letter to the Court on Sunday that it will not be able to implement Measure 114’s “permit-to-purchase” scheme by its effective date of December 8. The court entered an order delaying implementation for at least the next 30 days. Therefore, on December 8, Oregonians will still be able to lawfully exercise their Constitutional right to purchase firearms, and licensed retailers will not be forced to turn away customers or close their businesses.

However, the court denied an emergency motion to enjoin enforcement of Measure 114’s ban on the use, possession, manufacture or sale of magazines capable of holding more than 10 rounds of ammunition. That component of the Oregon Measure 114 will go into effect in two days.

NSSF respectfully disagrees with the court’s ruling. The court misapplied the U.S. Supreme Court’s recent Bruen decision, which set forth the proper analysis for evaluating laws that burden Second Amendment rights. The court incorrectly relieved the State of its burden to demonstrate that the restrictions in Measure 114 are “part of the historical tradition” of firearm regulations that existed at the time the Constitution was adopted. The court mistakenly placed the burden on the plaintiffs to prove a “need” for lawful self-defense. The court also engaged in the very interest-weighing analysis the Supreme Court expressly rejected in both its Heller and more recent Bruen decisions.

In a related state court case challenging Measure 114 as violating the Oregon State Constitution, a Harney County judge today enjoined the State from implementing any part of Oregon Measure 114 until at least December 13, when the court will hold a hearing on a motion for a preliminary injunction filed by the plaintiffs in that case.

(December, 5. 2022) –Textron Inc (NYSE: TXT) announced today that Bell Textron Inc., a Textron company, has been awarded the development contract for the U.S. Army’s Future Long-Range Assault Aircraft (FLRAA) program. The award is based on Bell’s V-280 Valor tiltrotor that was developed and tested as part of the Joint Multi-Role Technology Demonstrator (JMR TD) program that began in 2013. The V-280 progressed through design, manufacturing, and more than three years of rigorous flight testing that provided extensive data validating the technical and operational advantages of the aircraft for the long-range assault mission.

Lockheed Martin and Rafael Advanced Defense Systems to Collaborate on High-Energy Laser System

Lockheed Martin [NYSE: LMT] and Rafael Advanced Defense Systems, Ltd., of Israel, have signed a teaming agreement that includes jointly developing, testing and manufacturing a High Energy Laser Weapon Systems (HELWS) in the U.S. and Israel. The future joint-development will be based on the assets that have been developed independently by RAFAEL and the Ministry of Defense’s Directorate of Defense Research and Development (DDR&D) within the framework of the IRON BEAM project. The cooperation will be geared towards developing a variant of the system for the American market as well as others.

After years of joint development by the Ministry of Defense’s Directorate of Defense Research and Development (DDR&D) and RAFAEL, the IRON BEAM project was initiated by the DDR&D. In the last year, a series of tests on the system was carried out that proved the operational capability of the system. IRON BEAM is a 100kW-class HELWS, expected to be the first-ever operational system for ground-based air defense against threats such as rockets, mortars and UAV’s, delivering engagement at the speed of light.

WHAT IS CHAINSAW?

Chainsaw will now be Noveske’s forged product offering based on a hybrid of our Gen 1 and Gen 4 designs. We have modified the basic M4 look to match our Gen 4 aesthetic of intentional lines and smooth fit. Noveske will offer Chainsaw in three barrel lengths and two calibers to meet your needs.

This product line, as its name suggests, is intended for hard and practical use. It will be Noveske’s utilitarian offering, with the same quality and dependability, at a price point open to more users.

Chainsaw will only be offered in black anodizing. It’s up to you to be create and build out your chainsaw rifle. Think of it as buying a stock Tacoma.

Eddie Montgomery of Montgomery Gentry recently released “Outskirts,” a seven-song EP. With 20-plus charted singles, the Kentucky native has earned CMA, ACM and GRAMMY awards and nominations with undeniable blue-collar anthems.

In his new position, Rodriguez will be responsible for sales development of Streamlight products in Latin American markets, as well as overseeing independent sales agencies to generate product sales.

Prior to his role at Streamlight, Rodriguez served as Area Manager – Latin American and Caribbean for Dorian Drake International, White Plains, New York, where he won the President’s Award for Outstanding Achievement in 2020. He was responsible for international business strategy and development in the Industrial and Environmental sector, focusing on centrifugal pumps, blowers, and instrumentation product lines.

Previously, Rodriguez worked as Commercial Director for EYMAQ, Inc. in Miami where he oversaw international sales in the areas of mining, material handling and wear plate technologies. He also co-founded Sigma Equipment Co. where he sold used equipment and replacement parts to international markets.

GA-ASI Demonstrates Network Relay Using Laser Communications

GA-ASI DEMONSTRATES NETWORK RELAY USING LASER COMMUNICATIONS

SAN DIEGO – 01 December 2022 – General Atomics Aeronautical Systems (GA-ASI) completed a fully-networked demonstration using multiple Laser Communication terminals. The network included ground, mobile and airborne terminals. During the demonstration, a live video and audio feed of operators at each terminal was shared in the networked communication display.

Lasercomm is in demand for military applications because of its inherent Low Probability of Intercept/Low Probability of Detection (LPI/LPD) and anti-jam characteristics, and its ability to support much higher data rates (greater than 1 Gigabit per second) than traditional Radio Frequency (RF) systems.

“This fully networked lasercomm demonstration is a major milestone for GA-ASI and a significant achievement for the lasercomm community as it featured the extended use of this technology beyond point-to-point communications,” said GA-ASI Vice President of Mission Payloads and Exploitation, Satish Krishnan. “The successful execution of this demonstration shows how lasercomm can be utilized in an operational theater to truly provide LPI/LPD high-capacity comms for the warfighter.”

The demonstration took place at Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Atlantic located in Charleston, S.C., on Nov. 3, 2022, as part of a GA-ASI-funded test to highlight extended multi-point networking communications using lasercomm. During the demonstration, which was facilitated by organizers of NIWC Atlantic’s optical communications-focused Advanced Naval Technology Exercise (ANTX), the team maintained lasercomm links at 1 Gigabit per second (Gbps) and exchanged high quality video and voice data.

GA-ASI has developed a family of optical communication capabilities and is poised to play an important role in transitioning these capabilities to users in a variety of domains, from air to sea. Laser communications will enable GA-ASI’s Remotely Piloted Aircraft (RPA) to perform secure multi-domain communications to airborne, maritime, and ground users, as well as with future satellites.

This capability can be applied as a podded or fully integrated solution to GA-ASI’s full line of unmanned aircraft, including MQ-9B SkyGuardian®/SeaGuardian®, MQ-9A Reaper and MQ-1C Gray Eagle 25M.

NSSF Challenges Unconstitutional Oregon Measure 114

WASHINGTON, D.C. — NSSF®, The Firearm Industry Trade Association, filed a challenge to Oregon’s Measure 114, the gun control ballot initiative that was narrowly approved by voters. NSSF is filing the challenge along with Mazama Sporting Goods, the Oregon State Shooting Association and two individual gun owners.

The measure, called “Changes to Firearm Ownership and Purchase Requirements Initiative,” threatens to halt the lawful sale of firearms in Oregon, which would deny the most basic Constitutional right to keep and bear arms. That right begins with the ability for lawful purchasers to obtain a firearm through the legal sale from a licensed firearm retailer. Oregon’s “permit-to-purchase” scheme is antithetical to the Second Amendment.

“Oregon’s Measure 114 is blatantly unconstitutional,” said Lawrence G. Keane, NSSF’s Senior Vice President and General Counsel. “The right to keep and bear arms begins with the ability of law-abiding citizens to be able to obtain a firearm through a lawful purchase at a firearm retailer. Oregon has created an impossible-to-navigate labyrinth that will achieve nothing except to deny Second Amendment rights to its citizens. The measure is an affront to civil liberties which belong to People, not to the state to grant on impossible and subjective criteria.”

Oregon’s Measure 114 requires lawful firearm purchasers to obtain a permit-to-purchase, which entails non-existent and impossible-to-achieve criteria. Purchasers must complete a “firearm training course” to satisfy strict new criteria. However, the state provides no such training course and no existing course meets the new criteria. Purchasers would be required to submit fingerprints and photos to the local sheriff, police chief or Oregon State Police before requesting that law enforcement authority conduct a criminal background check. Measure 114 sets no requirement or timeframe in which law enforcement must complete this check, who could endlessly delay permits. Measure 114 further allows for roadblocks by authorizing law enforcement to request any additional information determined necessary.

That discretion to demand any additional information is in defiance of the U.S. Supreme Court’s Bruen decision.

Additionally, the Measure’s ban on magazines with a capacity exceeding 10 rounds would turn law-abiding citizens into criminals overnight, subjecting those who own standard magazines to unconstitutional confiscation schemes and imprisonment for up to 364 days and fines exceeding $6,000. Americans own more than 115 million magazines, making these clearly commonly-owned and commonly-used and protected by the Second Amendment.

Oregon’s Measure 114 is being rushed into an effective date of compliance without the requisite resources necessary to sustain this permitting process. That means on Dec. 8, no one in Oregon will be able to lawfully purchase a firearm in Oregon.

The in-person Configuration and Data Management (CDM) Prep Course is an intensive two-day certification preparation course designed to prepare individuals for the CDM certification exam. The primary thrust of the prep course is to provide insight into CDM functions and related processes.
