Every MK118 MOD 2-M is crafted to achieve sub-MOA accuracy with high-grade ammunition, thanks to PWS’s precision-manufactured barrels made in Boise, Idaho. The 18-inch barrel features a 1:7.5 twist rate, offering excellent stability across the 6mm ARC cartridge spectrum. At just 7.3 pounds unloaded, the rifle maintains a maneuverable profile without sacrificing reach or ballistic performance. The PWS FRC 2-Port Compensator effectively mitigates recoil and muzzle rise while remaining fully compatible with the PWS PUB mount, enabling streamlined suppressor attachment within the PWS ecosystem.

The MK118 MOD 2-M receiver set is precision-machined from 7075-T651 forged aluminum and anodized for long-term durability. The ambidextrous lower receiver, designed in-house by PWS, eliminates the forward assist while integrating a flared magwell and enlarged trigger guard for rigidity and ergonomic handling. The PicLok handguard further enhances adaptability by combining Picatinny and M-LOK attachment interfaces for maximum accessory flexibility.

Additional components include a Radian Raptor ambidextrous charging handle for smooth manipulation from either side, a PTFE-coated Mil-Spec Enhanced Trigger, and the PWS Enhanced Buffer System with a 1.2-inch diameter buffer tube, ratchet-lock castle nut, and built-in QD mount. Paired with a Magpul MOE SL Carbine Stock and MOE K2 Grip, the MK118 MOD 2-M delivers confident control and reliable handling in any environment.
