American Tactical, Inc. Introduces the new Black Creek Rifle Line!

(Summerville, SC) – American Tactical, a leading firearms manufacturer, has announced the introduction of two new bolt action rifles from Black Creek Labs – the MRX Bronco and the TRX Bronco Hunter. The TRX Bronco Hunter is an accurate utility rifle designed for backcountry carry and hunting, while the MRX Bronco is ideal for range shooting, varmint and small game. Both rifles are part of Black Creek’s newest line of Bronco bolt action rifles and are now available for purchase with an MSRP of $1499 for the TRX Bronco Hunter and $1199 for the MRX Bronco.
The TRX Bronco Hunter is an innovative rifle that is specifically designed for backcountry hunting. It features a two piece, Bronco adaptable chassis system with a 10 inch fore-end that is made of aircraft grade aluminum. The rifle also features a folding stock that captures the bolt handle when folded, making it compact, save and easy to carry. The TRX Bronco Hunter feeds from high capacity AR10/SR25 mags, eliminating the requirement for extra mags or loose ammunition. Additionally, the FSS stock can be made to lock the safety in the “safe” position, making it unable to fire when the stock is folded.
The TRX Bronco Hunter uses the Black Creek TRX Short action, which can be chambered in .308 or 6.5 Creedmoor. It is guaranteed to shoot 1 MOA with suggested commercial ammunition and is fitted with a TriggerTech REM700 field trigger, making it one of the smoothest shooting rifles available in its class.
The MRX Bronco, on the other hand, is a versatile, compact rifle that is ideal for range shooting and small game hunting. It features a 16.5 inch, medium weight barrel and a M-LOK compatible handguard. The rifle feeds from AR15 magazines and can be chambered in 300BLK, 7.62×39 or 5.56.. The MRX Bronco is fitted with a TriggerTech REM700 field trigger and is guaranteed to shoot 1.2 MOA with suggested commercial ammunition.The MRX Bronco comes with a collapsible PDS (Personal Defense System) stock for easy on the range adjustment.

EAST ALTON, IL (February 22, 2023) — Team Winchester made its mark with an elite showing at the recent Jack Link’s Cup held at Quail Creek Plantation in Okeechobee, Florida, with strong performances from Desi Edmunds and Connor Daniel.
The event hosted more than 950 top sporting clays shooters from 10 different countries.
Edmunds, showed why she remains one of the top female competitors in the country racking up an amazing four, first place finishes in the following categories: Ladies North Prelim Champion, Ladies FITASC Champion, Red Prelim Lady Champion, and Blue Prelim Lady Champion.
Connor Daniel took home top honors in the Junior FITASC class and the Open FITASC event, an amazing accomplishment given Daniel is only 15 years old. Daniel also claimed Runner-Up in the Sub-Junior Main Event while Kayla Wilgus claimed third.
Team Winchester Captain Zach Kienbaum claimed the 5-Stand event, as well as finishing behind Daniel to claim Runner-Up in FITASC. Eric Harvey placed third in the Main Event.

FN Herstal unveils its new FN Elity next gen solution for snipers, spotters and precision shooters - EDR Magazine

Specialized in the creation of innovative solutions based on small arms, the Belgian company FN Herstal is pleased to announce a first major order of FN Elity^® ballistic calculators, manufactured in Europe (ITAR-free) and for use by French snipers and designated marksmen.

In early 2022, the Battle-Lab Terre (BLT) – Ground Forces Battle Lab –, a structure created with the aim of boosting innovation within the French Army, acquired a first batch of FN Elity® and initiated a test phase with French units composed of snipers and designated marksmen.
This phase, which lasted several months, enabled operational shooters to successfully test and evaluate the ballistic calculator on various weapon platforms: 12.7mm rifles and 7.62mm sniper/precision rifles (PGM and FN SCAR®-H PR). Most importantly, it demonstrated how the FN Herstal ballistic calculator considerably improves the shooter’s performance, reduces “detection-neutralization” time by 40% and improves shooting accuracy by 25%. It also lightens the equipment carried by snipers by 6 kilos.

“This first project for innovation conducted with the company FN Herstal went particularly well, mostly due to the excellent collaboration between the Battle-Lab Terre and the Belgian manufacturer. It ends well since it demonstrates the effectiveness of the system and leads to the acquisition of a first batch that benefits French forces. It thus opens the door to further acquisitions for full-service capacity, the terms and atiming of which are yet to be defined, and to other collaborations with FN Herstal”, explains squadron leader Tanguy de Brosse, in charge of the project at the BLT.
In accordance with Army procedures, the order was passed by SIMMT (integrated structure for the maintenance in operational condition of land equipment), in charge of the acquisition of this type of equipment for use by French Forces.

Norway orders delivery of 54 new LEOPARD 2 A7 main battle tanks

Munich, 17 February 2023 – The Norwegian military procurement authority NDMA has commissioned Krauss-Maffei Wegmann GmbH & Co. KG (KMW) with delivering 54 of the latest LEOPARD 2 main battle tanks (A7 NOR). The vehicles are scheduled for delivery from 2026 to 2028.
The necessary set of agreements for this was signed in Munich today. It also includes the option of having an additional 18 LEOPARD 2 A7 NOR vehicles delivered.
KMW CEO Ralf Ketzel commented the following statement on the conclusion of the contract: “This signing is a strong signal for European cooperation. It also underscores the tank’s performance and future viability and its importance for joint defense efforts in Europe. KMW is grateful for the confidence. We look forward to the project and thus to long-term international industrial cooperation with Norwegian industry.

Krauss-Maffei Wegmann, a company belonging to the Franco-German defense technology group KNDS, is the market leader in Europe for heavily armored wheeled and tracked vehicles. Over 4,000 employees develop, produce and maintain a comprehensive product portfolio at locations in Germany, Brazil, Greece, Great Britain, Hungary, Singapore and the USA. NAVDEX 2023: RAFAEL’s Enhanced TYPHOON C-UAS Capabilities & 6th Gen. Naval SPIKE NLOS on Display

RAFAEL is arriving at NAVDEX after completing a unique live fire demonstration with successful interception rates. RAFAEL’s TYPHOON RCWS, successfully demonstrated Counter-UAS (C-UAS) capabilities in a series of tests and scenarios conducted in the last month. These new capabilities will be shown with footage of various interceptions at sea.

As a world leader with a global install base of more than 750 medium caliber Stabilized naval RCWS Systems, RAFAEL is offering its TYPHOON Mk30-c and TYPHOON 25 mm class (in service with several navies around the world, including the US navy) as a solution for airborne, marine, and shore-based threats, including C-UAS.

In late 2022, RAFAEL announced that it had been awarded a major contract with a leading Asian navy for its TYPHOON Mk30-c, as well as the commissioning of its TYPHOON and mini-TYPHOON RCWS onboard FAIC-M / SHALDAG Mk5 vessels in the Philippine navy as part of a complete RAFAEL combat suite. TYPHOON RCWS has recently demonstrated its improved C-UAS capabilities using AI-powered Automatic Fire Correction and ATR to effectively defeat small and medium UAS. This is all made possible by incorporating a diverse mix of synchronized smart multi-spectral sensors, weapons, and intelligent effectors that translate to very high hit accuracies.

RAFAEL’s new Naval SPIKE NLOS (non-line-of-sight) 6th Generation missiles will also be showcased. These new missiles can turn any OPV or patrol boat into a highly effective combat vessel, with advanced capabilities against all naval and coastal threats. Naval SPIKE NLOS provides pinpoint accuracy with a maximum range of 32 km, using electro-optical guidance and advanced fire control. This combat-proven system is operational in various navies worldwide and is compatible with a range of warheads, including High Explosive Anti-Tank (HEAT), Penetration Blast Fragmentation (PBF), with warhead detonation control, and fragmentation. SPIKE family systems have been sold to 39 countries worldwide, including 19 NATO countries.

Another innovative system showcased is the C-GEM shipborne off-board RF Active Decoy (RFAD) system which protects naval vessels from anti-ship missiles through electromagnetic spectrum manipulation. C-GEM jams and deceives threats from multiple directions, independent of ship maneuvers.

The result is the all-new Korth Callahan model, designed after Clint Eastwood’s legendary character, Inspector Harry Callahan, and his famed weapon of choice, the .44 Magnum revolver. This iconic firearm is now available in limited quantities.

What was once dubbed “The most powerful handgun in the world” has been brought to life by the world-renowned craftsmen of Korth. Chambered in .44 Magnum, the 7.5″ barrel gives the shooter optimal accuracy down range when shooting. The cylinder holds six rounds of ammunition.

This revolver not only boasts the swagger of Inspector Harry Callahan, but it has looks that are just as deadly as Dirty Harry himself. The entire revolver features a black DLC finish that has been fully high polished for a pristine look. The trigger and hammer have both been color case hardened, adding another dash of class to this revolver. The Korth logo is finished in gold, matching the gold bead front sight while the rear sight is fully adjustable. A beautiful Turkish Walnut grip provides great aesthetics while also feeling comfortable in the hand.

Cosaint Arms Introduces Cutting Edge CP Series Pistols

This revolutionary line of firearms features a uniquely designed ported slide and barrel. This design not only reduces muzzle flip, but it also allows for a constant view of the front sight, providing shooters with greater accuracy and improved shooting performance.

The CP series includes standard features such as an optic ready design with cover plate, ambi-safety, aluminum frame, and a standard Cerakote finish. The series is available in compact size (CS), mid-size (MS), and full size (FS) options, allowing shooters to select the best fit for their needs.

IDEX 2023: RAFAEL Inaugurates UAE Facility

RAFAEL is arriving at IDEX & NAVDEX after RAFAEL’s President & CEO Maj. Gen. (Ret.) Yoav Har-Even inaugurated the new office in a ceremony with Emirati and Israeli officials, ushering in the historic occasion. Har-Even was joined by Mr. Amir Hayek, Israel’s Ambassador to the UAE, as well as UAE government and industry representatives.

RAFAEL’s new office will enable the company to explore opportunities in the region, utilizing its culture of collaboration, excellence and innovation to create relationships with governments, customers and defense industry leaders. The Abu Dhabi office joins the ranks of RAFAEL’s global network of operations.

Beyond the array of advanced air defense solutions like the DRONE DOME and the SPYDER, RAFAEL has expanded its portfolio and upgraded systems to meet emerging threats. The SPYDER air defense system has been upgraded to allow for the counter ballistic missile capability through an extended range of the Derby LR missile.
