The Tasmanian Tiger® SHOT Show booth was well attended by customers and saw an increase in orders.

Saint Augustine, Fla. (February 2023) – Laura Burgess Marketing (LBM), public relations and marketing communications for the law enforcement, public safety, military, outdoor, shooting sports, hunting, and forensic communities, is pleased to report LBM clients enjoyed a positive experience at the SHOT Show® 2023, held in Las Vegas, Nevada, Jan. 17-20, 2023. After years of exhibitors staying home and a smaller group of attendees turning out due to the pandemic, this year’s SHOT Show brought renewed vigor to the firearms and outdoor industry. LBM reached out to their exhibiting clients to see how the show was for them, and get a feel for the future of the industry, as a whole.

ATN Corp. unveiled a new prototype, the THOR 5XD, “Extreme Definition,” thermal rifle scope. While ATN is known worldwide for its outstanding optics and object clarity, the new suggested MRP is under $6,000. For a thermal scope of this quality, ATN’s on to something to help get more thermal scopes out to the general public at an affordable price. Steve Lemenov, ATN’s Director of Marketing, summed up ATN’s SHOT Show experience, “SHOT Show didn’t disappoint; the event was action-packed and well worth it. As we launched our new product line, the media inundated us with questions and interviews. We felt the show was back to its previous scale and prowess.”

Alien Gear Holsters® also had a line-up of new products, and invited dealers and media to an in-booth presentation on Tuesday afternoon, complete with refreshments for the already footsore! Offering a little change of pace for the modern gun buyer was Cimarron Firearms. Attendees walked into another century upon entering its booth, where beautifully crafted replicas of America’s Old West Firearms were on display. Featuring an array of rifles and pistols, including the new Ranger 1911, Cimarron Firearms continues to draw in new customers with quality products that perform as well as they look.

Tasmanian Tiger USA, a tactical gear brand little known in the USA several years ago, has found a very successful footing among dealers, distributors, agencies, EMT units, and civilians in the past few years. Consistently rolling out mission-specific gear made to withstand battlefield conditions, Tasmanian Tiger’s packs, backpacks, medical gear, and accessories have achieved a strong following stateside. This year, Tasmanian Tiger® rolled out the new TT Base Pack 52 built on their signature V2 Plus Carrying System. This robust mission configurable pack features a volume from 52 to 65 liters.

The SENTRY Products Group booth showcased its multiple product lines including the new SENTRY Hexmag carbon fiber AR and GLOCK magazines. Customers raved about the superior strength of the magazines that can take a brutal beating and still feed and perform flawlessly. The new holster line also received a great deal of attention, including the SENTRY Hexgrip IWB pocket holster and its unique non-slip micro-replicating gripping fingers that provide maximum hold without any clips or loops, making it the ideal pocket or concealed carry holster. Besides other product lines, including the SENTRY Gunnar system with its patent-pending 1082™ mounting system, the SENTRY Scopecoat line of firearm covers, and the SENTRY Solutions line of oil-free gun care products, the SENTRY Products Group booth stayed busy throughout the show.

Spartan Armor Systems, designers and manufacturers of American-made body armor, showcased their new products and launched an OEM program. Damien Black, Spartan Armor Systems’ CMO, said “Overall, SHOT Show 2023 was our best year yet. The unveiling of our new lightweight III+/RF3 body armor plate named Hercules Lite was a big hit with attendees. Our new OEM program was very well received as more companies are looking to private label body armor. It was also a great opportunity to boost our dealer program. Our focus on quality, service, and long-lasting relationships has been monumental in growing our brand.”

The overall conclusion from the 2023 SHOT Show is that it was a unanimous success, with a more curated attendee list that contained quality dealers ready to buy.
