The LifeGaurd Group and the Retired Investigators Guild (RIG) Join Forces to Fight Against Human Trafficking

Reno, Nev. (November 2023) – There are more than 365,000 missing children in the U.S. every year. Approximately 109,000 of them will be trafficked into sexual slavery or forced labor. Only 1 percent of Human trafficking victims are ever recovered. Two organizations dedicated to fighting the scourge of Human trafficking have just joined forces to fight this crime against humanity.

The LifeGuard Group and the Retired Investigators Guild (RIG) today jointly announced the signing of an agreement that will enable them to work collaboratively toward their shared goal of rescuing victims who have been abducted and trafficked into the world of sexual slavery and forced labor.

The RIG is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in Reno that has national reach. Donations for the RIG’s work can be made by visiting the Retired Investigators Guild – Pledge page. Donations help fund the RIG’s programs. The organization is currently working hard to create strategic partnerships, staff key positions, build infrastructure, and get off the ground. Donations will go directly to funding this endeavor.

GA-ASI and EDGE Will Integrate Range of Smart Weapons Onto SkyGuardian®

DUBAI AIRSHOW – 13 November 2023 – General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, Inc. (GA-ASI), a leading designer and manufacturer of proven, reliable Remotely Piloted Aircraft (RPA) systems, radars, electro-optics, and related mission systems, and EDGE, a world-leading advanced technology group for defense and beyond, announced an agreement today to integrate EDGE smart weapons onto GA-ASI’s MQ-9B SkyGuardian® RPA.

Under the agreement announced at the Dubai Airshow, the two companies will work together to integrate precision-guided munition (PGM) and guided-glide weapon (GGW) solutions from EDGE onto GA-ASI’s MQ-9B SkyGuardian.

“We’re excited to work with EDGE on this initiative,” said GA-ASI President David R. Alexander. “Integrating home-grown capabilities onto our customer platforms is something we’ve done a lot, but we’ve never before integrated a non-NATO weapon system onto one of our RPA platforms.”

The partnership marks the first time that UAE-made smart weapons will be integrated onto a U.S. unmanned platform, signalling a new chapter in U.S.-UAE defense cooperation, and opening the door to further collaboration.

Hamad Al Marar, President of EDGE Group’s Missiles & Weapons cluster, said, “We are proud to be working with General Atomics Aeronautical. The opportunity to integrate our smart weapons on the MQ-9B SkyGuardian will offer the end user multiple dynamic, highly accurate, and cost-effective ground strike solutions. We look forward to working closely with General Atomics Aeronautical on this programme and to enhancing our collaboration in the future.”

The EDGE smart weapons designated for integration include the DESERT STING family of GGWs and THUNDER family of cost-effective PGMs from HALCON, and the AL TARIQ family of modular, mission-proven, all-weather day/night long-range PGMs.

GA-ASI hopes that its work with EDGE will lead to more partnerships within the UAE defense industry in order to integrate domestically developed sensors and weapons onto the MQ-9B for the UAE and other customers.

The UAE Armed Forces currently operate GA-ASI’s Predator XP and are working with GA-ASI and the U.S. Department of Defense to acquire the MQ-9B.

Attendees of the Dubai Airshow can visit GA-ASI at stand 1380 and EDGE and its portfolio of companies at indoor stand 520 and outdoor stand S49 at Dubai World Central.

Of the many IDF reservists from the US that have returned to Israel to join the fight against the great evil that is Hamas, one of them is Lt. Col. (Ret.) Mikey Hartman. Florida businessman and resident, he went to Israel at 19 to join the Israeli Defense Force. Hartman served 22 years with the IDF. Hartman established the IDF Sharpshooting and Marksmanship School, and commanded it for 17-years. He wrote the entire shooting doctrine of the IDF and trained over 500,000 Israeli soldiers and thousands of US soldiers. Hartman is the CEO of CAA in Florida.

Since the Hamas attack on October 7, 2023, Hartman has returned to Israel and the IDF to end the Hamas attacks. Hartman’s video link below comes directly from his position in southern Israel. In it, he appeals to the American public that the IDF is not fighting against Muslims or Palestinians, but the evil known as Hamas. Since the attack, Hamas has used social media to sway public thinking that Israeli forces are mowing down civilians and bombing public places. He counters that. His appeal is for Americans to understand the true context of the current situation and support Israel in its efforts to destroy the evil before it spreads further.

NSSF will distribute 10,000 free gun locks for Dallas residents to promote secure firearm storage

WASHINGTON, D.C. and DALLAS — NSSF®, The Firearm Industry Trade Association, together with the Dallas Police Department and several other Dallas-based organizations, today announced the start of “Project ChildSafe® Dallas,” a citywide initiative to promote firearm safety and secure firearm storage to help prevent firearm accidents, thefts and suicide throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex.

Partners in the program, in addition to the Dallas Police Department, include GRITR Range, the DC Project – Texas Chapter, the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention – North Texas Chapter, North Texas Chapter of the National African American Gun Association, the National Wild Turkey Federation, the Texas Parks & Wildlife Department and Bass Pro Shops. Efforts to bring in additional stakeholders are ongoing.

The program is modeled after similar programs across the U.S., including in Columbia, South Carolina; Baton Rouge, Louisiana; Memphis, Tennessee, and others. Over the course of the next several weeks, NSSF’s Project ChildSafe initiative will provide more than 10,000 cable gun locks and educational resources to these partners to distribute to local residents – free of charge and no questions asked. The gun locks and safety literature are being made available through a grant to NSSF from the office of Texas Gov. Greg Abbott, with additional support from the firearm industry.

The program will include a digital advertising campaign targeted to Dallas-area residents and a billboard on I-35 East to deliver firearm safety messages and tell residents where they can get a free lock.

“We know secure firearm storage works – it is the number one way to help prevent firearm accidents, thefts and suicide,” said Joe Bartozzi, NSSF President and CEO. “We want to help anyone who has an unsecured gun in their home take the steps to store it securely and responsibly, when it’s not in use, and we’re grateful to have so many partners on the ground supporting us in this effort.”

Today, 8th November 2023, we are releasing the second limited edition specifically created to mark the end of the twenty-fifth anniversary of Extrema Ratio.
Extrema Ratio Caimano Nero N.A. Ranger XXV Anniversarium is a limited edition of just 250 pieces that preserves all the characteristics of the famous Caimano Nero N.A., a non-automatic version of the tactical knife that Extrema Ratio has supplied to the G.O.I. (Operational Raiders Group) of the Italian Navy.
Caimano Nero N.A. Ranger XXV Anniversarium joins the limited series that Extrema Ratio has created to mark the end of the twenty-fifth year of activity.
The blade is a 4 mm thick asymmetrical spear point. The serrated part of the edge allows to cut highly resistant cables and fabrics without losing its sharpening. Its finishing is made with Geotech Camo, the innovative and original laser-engraved pattern by Extrema Ratio.
The grip is made of two anodized anticorodal aluminum handle scales in the brand-new Tactical Mud color. The bottom part of the handle is designed to enhance the grip for a rapid extraction of the knife from the pocket. The DLC-coated titanium clip can be positioned in three different angles on both sides allowing to conceal the knife as much as possible inside the pocket.
Extrema Ratio Caimano Nero N.A. Ranger XXV Anniversarium Limited Edition is delivered in a weather, dust and shock resistant polypropylene IP67 certified waterproof case with pressurization valve; this includes a commemorative coin of the twenty-fifth anniversary of Extrema Ratio and a metal plate bearing the progressive number within the limited series.
