A Conversation with Ray Livingston, Big Horn Armory Brand Ambassador and “Mountain Men” Season 12 Cast Member

Cody, Wyo. (August 2023) – The rugged landscapes of “Mountain Men” have long captured the imagination of viewers, offering a glimpse into the lives of those who thrive in the wild, facing the challenges of the untamed wilderness head-on. Season 12 introduces a new face to the cast, Ray Livingston, an elite hunter and outdoor survivalist who brings a wealth of knowledge and a passion for wildlife conservation to the show. As a Big Horn Armory Brand Ambassador, Ray Livingston’s journey into the wild is amplified by his choice of firearms, particularly the Big Horn Armory Model 90.
In this exclusive interview, we dive deep into Ray’s background, his approach to predator and nuisance animal abatement, his partnership with Big Horn Armory, and the vital message he hopes to convey to both seasoned hunters and newcomers to the outdoor lifestyle.
Interviewer: Could you tell us a bit about how your background as an elite hunter and outdoor survivalist led you to become a part of “Mountain Men” Season 12?
Ray Livingston: I was introduced to hunting at about 13 years of age. While my father and I went fishing, hunting wasn’t an activity he engaged in. After moving out from inner city Portland, OR to rural Gresham, OR, I met my (still) best friend, Jim Calcagno. I began hunting with him and his family and harvested my first Elk, with a bow, at 14; I’ve been hooked ever since.
As a world-class athlete, willing to go wherever I thought the animals were, without care for terrain, I found myself hunting alone a lot. So, I decided to teach myself the relevant wilderness skills to try to prevent an untimely demise in the backcountry, if that fate could at all be avoided. I was never really a dedicated primitive survivalist, I was always more of a mountain man, willing to use whatever means necessary to be able to stay out in the forest longer.
Interviewer: Living in an area surrounded by abundant wildlife, including predators like cougars, wolves, bears, and coyotes, must be both exhilarating and challenging. How do you approach predator and nuisance animal abatement without using traditional methods like hunting with dogs or baiting?
RL: For most of my hunting life I’ve lived in areas where hunting predators with dogs or baiting was prohibited. Until recently, I had very little interest in harvesting predators. I’ve had many opportunities to take bears, cougars, and coyotes, but passed on them because I didn’t think they were good eating and I didn’t understand the management needs for harvesting them. Once I understood the management need and that many of them are great table fare, I refocused my hunting effort on predators, mostly on cougars as I think they are the best tasting of all wild game animals.
So, my predator-hunting journey began without ever having the ability to use dogs or bait. I spent a great amount of time researching how best to approach hunting these animals, which are among the hardest animals to harvest, without those tools. Calling with a predator call is my key, basic strategy, but understanding where, when, and how to set up and call was a steep learning curve. I feel I’ve had an uncommon success due to the research I did as well as lots of time in the field figuring out what works. I can say it’s quite exciting when an apex predator comes into your calling setup. Thus far I’ve called in Cougars, Bears, Coyotes, and Wolves.

Compound or Crossbow, Nothing Makes Packing It Easier Than the Bow Spider™ Bow Packing System
Kinnear, WY (Oct. 10, 2023) — As hunting seasons accelerate across America, serious outdoorsmen are always looking for ways to be more efficient in the field. Few pieces of equipment help bowhunters who choose either a compound bow or a crossbow increase both their efficiency and enjoyment more than the Bow Spider™ Bow Packing System.
“One of the biggest challenges bowhunters have faced down through the ages is having to carry their bow or crossbow in one hand, limiting what they can do as they hike the mountains, or travel to and from their stand locations,” said David Merrill, founder of Recreational Archery Development (RAD) and The Bow Spider. “Or, if you strapped your bow to your pack, it was impossible to remove it quickly and quietly if an opportunity suddenly presented itself. With the Bow Spider, you can now pack either a bow or crossbow on your back, attached to your pack, or on your belt, leaving both hands free – and best of all, remove it in seconds and be ready for action.”
The concept is simple and revolves around a lightweight, roundish bow holder. A short aluminum arm attaches to the bow’s riser, and slides into a slot in this lightweight, injection-molded receiver. The bow is held securely in place via a gravity-locking system yet slides out with minimal effort. The Bow Spider Complete Bow Packing System comes with one Waist/Tree Belt, four Corner Screws, one Anodized Aluminum Post with rubber scratch guard, one Long Mounting Screw, and four Long Corner Screws. This system is great for both bowhunters and competitive archers. The Bow Spider universal bow packing system fits any compound bow and affixes to any pack, hip, tree, wall, or car for easy storage and access.
Introduced in September 2023, The Complete Crossbow Spider Kit includes one Receiver, one Post, two Spacers, two Picatinny Rail Clamps, two Jaw Clamp Bolts, three mounting bolts, three mounting straps, one nylon belt, and one puck mounting hardware bag. This system allows you to carry your crossbow hands-free and access it quickly. By utilizing the two round spacers (if needed), simply mount the crossbow post to your crossbow’s Picatinny rail with the pic rail clamps, then mount the receiver to your backpack, hip, tree, headrest, wall, or side-by-side, and you’re ready to rock.
For those who hunt without a large daypack or backpack or want to make their final stalk without wearing their pack, the Bow Spider Attack Pack harness system is the ticket. It features a sturdy harness system with Bow Spider receiver attached, enabling you to put the stalk on an animal without having to worry about dragging a bulky, noisy day pack with you. This is also great for wearing your Bow Spider on the range and at 3D shoots.
The Bow Spider Complete Bow Packing System has a MSRP of $94.95, the Complete Crossbow Spider Kit has a MSRP of $109.99, and the Bow Spider Attack Pack a MSRP of $49.99. They are available on the company’s website, bowspider.com, where you’ll also find more information on these, as well as the entire line of innovative Bow Spider products.

Multiple Options, Multiple Optics; the Modular Ring Mount
![]()
![]()

Close up and far away, the Modular Ring Mount has you covered.
Richmond Hill, GA (October 10, 2023) – For many sportsmen and hunters, there is always the nagging issue of range and what optic best suits their needs. For a decade, LPVOs (Low Power Variable Optics) have sought to bridge the gap between the long-range and zero-magnification shooter. But these have some drawbacks, mainly focal points, that can be difficult for hunters and many sport shooters. While various secondary mounting options for optics have been produced, none have seemed to gain a foothold in the shooting world for many differing reasons; optics compatibility being one of the most prolific. Now, C&H Precision is aiming to make secondary optics more attainable for the average firearm enthusiast.
The new Modular Ring Mount is an optics mount that fits directly to a primary rifle scope and can accommodate various red dot optics. Historically, most secondary optics systems have been designed for a Picatinny rail and are heavily used on the AR platform. Those who have run out of rail space or choose not to utilize a rifle with a rail have been left with little to no options.
C&H Precision’s Modular Ring Mount comes in 30mm and 34mm sizes and is held in place by a pressure fit through the screw. Each is milled for the Glock MOS footprint, which can be adapted to an optic of your choosing by utilizing the quality manufactured adaptor plates directly from C&H Precision. Each Ring Mount is adaptable to individual shooters and not set to a specific degree of orientation. If a firearm enthusiast wants their secondary optic to be 90 or 20 degrees, it can easily be accommodated. It’s an incredibly versatile system.
There is no worry about clearance as the Ring Mount lifts the secondary optic slightly away from the primary riflescope. It can be mounted in either direction, forwards or backward, to clear any small obstacles that may be present on a current optics setup. This leaves plenty of room for knob actuation and accessories from most manufacturers. Any shooter can stay consistent with a long-range optic and quickly transition to a short-range red dot making the entire setup entirely advantageous.
For the hunter, the sportsman, or the range addict C&H Precision’s Modular Ring Mount hits all the targets. There is minimal weight added to a preferred firearm, and a familiar, comfortable optic can flow easily from pistol to rifle use. MSRP is $74.95, and adaptor plates are sold separately.

GA-ASI ADVANCES AERIAL RECOVERY FOR SUAS AND ALE

SAN DIEGO – 10 October 2023 – General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, Inc. (GA-ASI) recently advanced its Aerial Recovery System for Small Unmanned Aircraft Systems/Air-Launched Effects (SUAS/ALE) by deploying and retracting a towline with a “smart end feature” from a GA-ASI MQ-20 Avenger® Unmanned Aircraft System in flight. The demonstration took place on Sept. 20, 2023, over Dugway Proving Ground, Utah.
During this demonstration, a hoist from Breeze-Eastern equipped with GA-ASI’s smart end feature was integrated into Avenger’s payload bay. While in flight, the towline was deployed away from Avenger to the optimal distance for aerial recovery. The smart end feature was able to wirelessly transmit its position back to Avenger, confirming its ability to transmit the data to a nearby SUAS/ALE for aerial recovery. The smart end feature’s “deployed” position correlated to GA-ASI’s multi-degree-of-freedom finite element catenary models, confirming its potential for SUAS/ALE aerial recovery.
“Integrating air-launched UAS from Group 5 unmanned aircraft is possible, in part, thanks to advances in relative navigation technology, complex towline analysis, and multi-aircraft control being pioneered by GA-ASI,” said Mike Atwood, Vice President of Advanced Programs at GA-ASI. “We are excited to see this technology enable long-range kill chains from today’s manned and unmanned systems supporting operations in highly contested environments.”
Beyond just captive carry back to base, the SUAS/ALE can be refueled, recharged, and/or rearmed and then redeployed. Redeployment can occur from the host aircraft, enabling SUAS/ALEs to conduct their own orbits from airborne launch and recovery positions. Aerial redeployment allows UAS like GA-ASI’s Avenger or MQ-9A Reaper to serve as mobile command centers for a network of SUAS/ALEs in a persistent, expansive grid for surveillance, electronic attack, enemy air defense suppression, communication pathways, or joint all-domain mobile command and control for days or weeks at a time.
Breeze-Eastern’s commercial-off-the-shelf helicopter rescue hoists, with performance capabilities that meet or exceed system requirements, provide a high Technology Readiness Level (TRL), and offer a low-risk solution to ensure SUAS/ALE aerial recovery. Throughout the hoist integration and flight testing, Breeze-Eastern provided technical and logistical support.
Ian Azeredo, Breeze-Eastern’s Chief Engineer, commented, “With this milestone demonstration, GA-ASI has once again awed the aerospace industry. The professionalism and surgical ingenuity shown in the integration phase by the Aerial Recovery team all but guarantee future program success.”
The novel aerial recovery concept utilizes a towline and smart end feature, which serves as a beacon and mechanical interface for aerial recovery. The SUAS/ALE calculates its precise position relative to the smart end feature for navigation into towline intercept, followed by a maneuver to capture the end feature. Once secure on the towline, the SUAS/ALE folds its wings and stops its engine to transition into a passively stable towed body. A podded hoist aboard the capital ship reels in the SUAS/ALE to a captive carriage state where the two platforms return to base together.

Swagger Bipods QD Series, Ideal for Western Hunting
![]()

![]()

Grand Island, NE. (October 10, 2023) – For many hunters, kicking off another big game season is spent traveling to the western United States to hunt screaming bull elk or a monster mule deer. Whether hiking up and down the majestic Rocky Mountains, trekking through the plains, or foothills farther north, the hunt will be demanding. In sharp contrast to deer hunting, hunters cannot sit in a treestand or blind and wait for the game to come into close range. Western hunting requires packing a firearm and a large backpack full of all the essential gear the hunter may need. To make it more challenging, the hunter must travel the rough terrain until they find an animal, get into close range, and find an area where they can make the shot.
When a giant bull elk or a mature mule deer is spotted, the hunter only has a limited time to set up and make the shot. Quick Adapt Technology that the QD series has allows the bipods to attach and detach in seconds. If the hunter needs to move to a different area, the QD can stay attached to the rifle or quickly detach, allowing the hunter to quickly move to a different area. The QD series provides the proper shooting position in any terrain, giving the shooter control, maneuverability, and stability, unlike conventional shooting sticks or bulky shooting rests.
When western hunting, you have to make quick decisions, and long hikes are involved. Sometimes the elk or mule deer you see can be over a mile away; having lightweight bipods or shooting sticks can make the trek easier. The QD weighs only 15 ounces and can outperform other bipods because of its 14” to 42” range. The QD is like having a bipod and shooting stick in one. The QD series attaches quickly to any firearm and allows the hunter to maintain a proper shooting position when sitting, kneeling, or prone. The QD series is ideal for carrying along or quickly packing into a bag until ready to use.
Swagger Bipods has developed the perfect bipod that meets all the western hunting big game demands. The QD series is ideal for carrying along or quickly packing into a bag until ready to use. With Swagger’s Quick Adapt Technology, the QD’s attach to a firearm within seconds to give the hunter a solid shooting rest no matter where the hunt takes them.

Inked In History: 75 Years Later, Fisher Space Pen Co. Is the Product of the American Dream & Strong Family Values

BOULDER CITY, NV (October 10, 2023) – It’s only fitting during World Space Week, and on the day the Fisher Family and the ballpoint pen industry celebrate the birth of its most famous architect, that Fisher Space Pen Co. take time to recognize its Diamond Jubilee – 75 years since an American Dream spurred an evolution that is still thriving, inspiring, and writing to this day.
American inventor, engineer and pioneer Paul C. Fisher was born on this day 110 years ago, the beginning of a proud family legacy that only continues to strengthen nearly 17 years since his passing at age 93.
The world saw an abundance of life-changing inventions prior to and throughout the 20th century, including the television, radio, airplane, electricity, jet engine, refrigerator and microwave. One line of products worth noting helped revolutionize the ballpoint pen forever – the Fisher Space Pen.
Since its conception in 1948, Fisher Space Pen has been the industry leader in producing writing instruments beloved by millions of Americans as their everyday carry pen. Reflective of America’s enthusiasm for the Fisher Space Pen, it was featured in an episode of the hit comedy “Seinfeld.” Furthermore, it is part of the permanent collection at the New York Museum of Modern Art, representing the highest industry standard that excels in practicality and design.
In 1948, Fisher Space Pen had a humble beginning as Fisher Pen Company, a small business founded by an inventor and pen manufacturer, Paul C. Fisher. Up to this point, mass-produced pens were often unreliable, and refills were frustrating to use due to leakage or overflowing ink. Five years after Paul Fisher began manufacturing his own ballpoint pens, he transformed the pen industry by creating the Universal Refill Cartridge. His invention solved the problems of refills and made using and maintaining ballpoint pens easier and more convenient than ever. Finally, people no longer had to purchase and carry multiple-sized cartridges for their ballpoint pens from different companies anymore!
However, Fisher’s vision and pursuit of all-around American ballpoint pens did not stop there. In 1966 Fisher invented and patented the Sealed and Pressurized Fisher Space Pen Ink Cartridge. In this cartridge, thixotropic ink is pushed by pressurized nitrogen gas and dispensed by a tungsten carbide ball. This cartridge allowed the Fisher Pen to write at any angle. The Sealed and Pressurized Fisher Space Pen Ink Cartridge equipped the AG7, the “Anti-Gravity” Original Astronaut Pen later chosen by NASA for its space missions.
Not only known as a business and political visionary, but Fisher’s engineering feats also are so legendary that in a 1991 article, the Chicago Tribune wrote that Fisher was “a creatively gifted engineer. The Henry Ford of the ballpoint pen industry, you could say.”
Although Fisher Space Pen’s presence in the American public has been significant in multifold ways, its involvement in space travel makes its history and products even more fascinating.
According to Scientific American, it was a problem for NASA that the average pen could not write in space due to the lack of gravity as they were searching for writing instruments for astronauts while the Space Race continued. The astronauts first used pencils like their Russian counterparts. But those pencils were fragile and combustible – not exactly a desirable quality for supplies going into NASA space shuttles, especially after the Apollo 1 disaster. The mechanical pencils that came into the picture next were so expensive that they caused public criticism. That was when Paul C. Fisher presented his AG7 to NASA. The Original Astronaut Space Pen debuted on the 1968 Apollo 7 space mission after 18 months of robust testing by NASA. The Fisher Space Pen’s journey into space expanded as Russian space programs adopted it in 1969.
With the fast-growing demand for its products both from the public and the space shuttles, Fisher Pen Company moved its location to a new 30,000 ft² manufacturing post in Boulder City, Nevada, in 1976. Then, in 1981, Fisher’s Chrome Plated Shuttle Space Pen began and has been onboarding every crewed space flight NASA has ever conducted.
The popularity of Fisher Pens kept growing with its Chrome Bullet Pen starring in “Seinfeld” Season 3 Episode 3, “The Pen” in 1991. Fisher Space Pen Co. also continued collaboration with diverse significant organizations and corporations such as the Smithsonian and America Online and was featured in events such as the Everest North Face Ski Expedition. Fisher Space Pen even became the first-ever product demonstrated by cosmonauts from space during a live show on QVC Television Shopping Network!
After Paul’s death, his son Cary Fisher, President, Donald “Dock” Wong, Co-Owner and the Head of Operations, and Paul’s grandson and Cary’s son Matt Fisher, Vice President, have carried on Paul’s legacy. Under their leadership, Fisher Space Pen flourished as an ever-growing, family-owned company trusted by its long-time employees and customers. The company’s odyssey of excellence and spirit of adventure has continued to bear fruit to this day with a culture of success built on mutual respect, dignity and commitment to quality.
“If there’s anything I can take away from my grandfather after all these years, he had a quote that always sunk in with me,” said Matt Fisher, Vice President of Fisher Space Pen. “And that was, ‘anything that is not being improved upon deteriorates; therefore I must strive to improve myself.’ That resonates with me and translates to our responsibility to the company, the employees – our lifeblood, and ensuring they always have a home here.”
From 2016-2019, Fisher Space Pen celebrated the 50th anniversary of the invention of the Fisher Space Pen Ink Cartridge (2016), the 50th anniversary of Apollo 7 and Fisher Space Pen Co. onboarding space missions (2018), and the 50th anniversary of Apollo 11 and Fisher Space Pen stepping on the moon (2019). The same year, Fisher Space Pen officially installed a permanent exhibition in the Apollo/Saturn V Center at NASA Kennedy Space Center in Titusville, Florida. In 2020, the AG7 Astronaut Space Pen boarded the Falcon 9 Rocket as it launched with Crew Dragon, a staffed spacecraft by NASA SpaceX. In December 2022, Fisher Space Pen Co. celebrated its three-year partnership with the U.S. Space Force, and most recently, Fisher Space Pen was part of mission essentials for the Axiom-2 Space Mission, the second all-private astronaut mission to the International Space Station (ISS) conducted by partner Axiom Space. The list goes on!
The glorious success of Fisher Space Pen for over seven decades on the planet and in outer space comes down to the pure brilliance of its products. The second-to-none reputation of Fisher’s Pressurized Ink Cartridge stems from its supreme writability, versatility and dependability. Every Fisher Space Pen writes in extreme temperatures ranging from -30 to 250 degrees Fahrenheit. It also writes at any angle, including upside down and in microgravity. No wonder astronauts love it so much! You can also write through grease and even underwater using the Space Pens. Fisher’s products also come in visually pleasing designs: Cap-O-Matic’s with a retractable point; Bullet Space Pen’s shining with brilliance second-to-none, Backpackers that allow you to take your pen with you on any adventure, and the all-new Cerakote-coated Space Pens that takes our level of indestructibility to new heights.
Fisher Space Pen Co. has become an all-around presence in American life. As Fisher Space Pen continues its partnership with the U.S. Space Force, NASA and many other commercial space entities, the writing ability of future generations of astronauts during their space explorations is forever guaranteed. What’s more, one does not even have to be an astronaut to experience the ever-satisfying quality of the Fisher Space Pen products. Whether you are a first responder, construction professional, or outdoor enthusiast, having this reliable writing companion in your pocket means you can write anywhere and in any condition. Proudly made in America using materials sourced both nationally and globally, the Fisher Space Pen is one single pen that will conclude your search for a writing device you can truly count on!
“I think our grandfather would be very proud of where we’ve taken the company in recent years,” concludes Matt. “Through the difficulty of COVID, we succeeded and survived, and we took care of all of our employees who have been there, some of them going on 40-plus years, and held us as babies. It’s incredible; we really have a beautiful family.”

About Fisher Space Pen

While pressurized technology made it possible for NASA’s astronauts to write in space, it also provided writing capabilities in all-weather, underwater, over oil and grease and from -30 to +250 degrees Fahrenheit. These pens are the perfect tool for trade professionals, first responders, military, rugged outdoor enthusiasts, trekkers, backpackers, industrial manufacturers, underwater divers and anyone who values a pen that doesn’t fail.

Day Two: Exhibition and Conference, Thursday 2 November 2023
Overview
Our event this year will take place on Wednesday 1 November 2023 (MOD Industry Day) and Thursday 2 November 2023 (Exhibition and Conference) at our new venue, Telford International Centre.
Formerly known as 3CDSE, and now in its 6th edition, SDSC-UK is the UK’s only dedicated showcase event for industries serving the Specialist User community. Supported by the UK MOD Strategic Command and Defense Equipment & Support since 2019, SDSC-UK showcases Aerospace, Land, Naval and Joint domains.
It also provides a platform for emerging technologies in Space and Manufacturing as well as products and services from non-traditional defense industries such as Agritech, Fintech and Automotive – industries which similarly embrace innovation and drive digital transformation.
USSOCOM and UK MOD Innovation Foundry
We are delighted to advise the exclusive announcement of UK MOD hosting of the US Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) Innovation Foundry (IF).
The IF intends to bring together Special Operations Forces, industry, academia, national labs, government, and futurists in an exploration, design thinking, facilitated event to assist USSOCOM in decomposing future scenarios and missions.
The event will be a compelling opportunity for leading minds in industry, academia, labs, and government, as well as subject matter experts (SMEs). During the IF event, selected participants will ideate, collaborate, and develop concepts for the future needs of SOF. USSOCOM has also used Innovation Foundries to build key relationships with entrepreneurs and technology developers.
There will be 2 opportunities to hear the announcement; during the MOD SP Industry Day 1 November and also during the Exhibition and Conference 2 November.
Pre-Event – Welcome Drinks 31 October 2023
This year for the first time, we are delighted to be holding a complimentary pre-event Welcome Drinks Reception, which will be held on Tuesday 31 October 2023. We’ve arranged it for such a time to allow guests to mingle, and then to either stay on at our venue, or visit the many restaurants and bars of Telford city Center.
Day One 1 November 2023
Day Two 2 November 2023
SDSC-UK Exhibition and Conference.
Exhibition:
Day Two is the commercial Exhibition for which security clearance is not required but delegates are restricted to those with a genuine role in the military and/or defense industries from 5 EYES, NATO and NATO Global Partner countries. In 2022, the Expo comprised c.135+ exhibitors and c.1,600 delegates.
Exhibitors quite often have ‘discrete’ displays, due to the nature of some products (data, cyber, conceptual), however taking an exhibition stand provides a base to which touring UK MOD DE&S buying Team leaders as well as other buying delegations can visit. From there you will have a platform from which to describe your products and services.
Conference:
Our unclassified Conference runs alongside the Exhibition and will present open briefings from military and industry speakers, including keynote talks by UK MOD, US DOD, and International Theatre and a Business Development Theatre.
UK MOD ‘Meet the Buyer’
1:1 unclassified meetings will be held on Day Two Expo & Conference at the UK MOD DE&S exhibition stand, allowing Industry Visitors and Exhibitors to meet with their most relevant UK MOD project managers. More private discussions may take place in closed meeting rooms, and further related meetings at future dates may thereafter also be arranged with MOD.
Sign-up for the UK MOD Meet the Buyer sessions will be on a ‘first come, first served’ basis on the day. Please visit the UK MOD stand to provide your details, and a time slot will be allocated to you
US DOD
We are delighted to again welcome representatives from US Army DEVCOM, who invite exhibitors to meet with them for 1:1 ‘Pitch and Present’ sessions during Day Two, as well as USSOCOM, Foreign Comparative Testing (FCT) and SOFWERX.Further information here. Hyperlink ‘here’ to [https://www.sdsc-uk.co.uk/agenda/department-defense-dod]
US Army DEVCOM ‘Pitch and Present’

Weatherby® Introduces 410 Side by Side Shotgun.
Sheridan, WY – October 9th. In August, Weatherby added the Orion ® SxS to its line of shotguns and today they add a 410 to this classic looking shotgun. It’s been decades since Weatherby has offered a 410 so this new side by side should be a welcomed announcement for uplanders, small game hunters, and small-bore enthusiasts. The new offering is a true 410 receiver and is scaled down from the 20 ga version launched just a few months ago. It accepts up to 3” shells and the barrel is ready for today’s modern shot selections. Like the 12 and 20 ga options this new shotgun features a straight English stock, splinter forend, 5 extended chokes, and double triggers. It has a swamp rib with a brass bead to ensure a clear sight picture for quick and accurate wing shooting. Made for conscious hunters, the side by side features extractors to make sure empty shells end up in your pocket and not on the landscape. Starting at just 6.1lbs, this is a shotgun you can carry all day long. Orion SxS MSRP:$1,099
Mechanical Double Trigger
Reliable mechanical double trigger. The front trigger fires the right barrel, and the rear trigger fires the left barrel.
Ambidextrous Tang Safety
The tang safety is ergonomically placed for quick transitions from the safe position to the fire position.
Swamped Rib
A classic swamped rib is used to aid the shooter in keeping their face on the stock and allows the user to see between the barrel silhouettes which encourages focus on the target
Straight English Stock with Splinter Forend
A classic straight English stock with a slim splinter forend allows for natural pointing and an easy transition between the two triggers.
Extended Chokes Tubes
Comes with 5 extended choke tubes (SK, IC, Mod, IM, Full) and utilizes the Yildiz choke system.
Long Tang Trigger Guard:
The long tang trigger guard adds strength and additional stability to the wrist of the stock.

SPRINGFIELD, MA., (10/5/2023) – Gemtech, a leader in cutting-edge innovation and visionary designs within the suppressor industry, announces a new addition to the AbyssTM series with the introduction of the AbyssTM 7.62 suppressor.
The durability of the Abyss series sets the standard within the heavy use suppressor category. Built on five of Gemtech’s patent-pending technologies, its design allows rounds to pass through while gasses expand into the baffle spaces, lowering pressure, minimizing muzzle flash, and significantly reducing decibels. The Abyss also lessens back pressure by routing gasses forward, away from the shooter for increased comfort and reliability.
MSRP: $945.00

The new Intelligence Analysis Crime Unit (IACU) internship will be part of the Center for Cybercriminology and Digital Forensics (CCDF) at Indiana State University and the fourth and newest internship in the School of Criminology and Security Studies that provides students real-world experience working with our law enforcement partners and other customers like O.U.R. We have already partnered with organizations such as Magnet Forensics, Cellebrite, Amped, and many others that have an invested interest in our students’ futures. The School of Criminology and Security Studies currently employs student interns in our High-Tech Crime Unit ( 1 of 10 state-funded units that performs digital forensics for approximately 25 agencies in 8 counties), Electronic Data Analysis Section (EDAS) (perform jail intelligence for Vigo County by listening to jail calls and video calls), and cold case internship (students investigate and analyze evidence to solve past crimes).
