COLT CZ GROUP SE ACQUIRES THE MK 47 AUTOMATIC GRENADE LAUNCHER SYSTEM TECHNOLOGY
Prague (January 3, 2024) ― Colt CZ Group SE (“Colt CZ”, the “Group” or the “Company”) hereby announces that it acquired intellectual property rights for the Mk 47 automatic grenade launcher from General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems (“GD-OTS” or “General Dynamics”).
Colt CZ Group, through its subsidiary Colt, has acquired ownership of the Mk 47 40mm Advanced Lightweight Grenade Launcher system, including the Fire Control, from General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems (GD-OTS). The Mk 47 is a reliable, portable 40mm grenade launcher suited for light infantry vehicles and tripod applications. This weapon system provides the warfighter with a decisive technological advantage over enemy forces equipped with older crew-served weapons.
“This acquisition expands Colt CZ Group’s offerings into the segment of larger and more sophisticated weapon systems and crew-served platforms. The acquisition of this highly capable weapon system is fully in line with our Group’s mission to provide innovative and high-quality products that our customers can rely on in any situation. The Mk 47 is a lightweight 40mm automatic grenade launcher with an integrated fire control system, capable of functioning as a standard automatic grenade launcher or programable airburst capability. The Mk 47 can be tripod, vehicle, air or watercraft mounted. The Mk 47 can launch smart programmable 40mm air burst grenades through in-bore or radio frequency (RF) programming in addition to various unguided point impact rounds. The Mk 47 fires all NATO standard high velocity 40mm rounds, providing firepower against soft and lightly armored targets.

Fabbrica d’Armi Pietro Beretta, a leading provider of military equipment, today announced at DSEI exhibition in London the launch of its New Assault Rifle Platform (NARP).
Entirely designed, developed and manufactured in Italy, NARP has been designed to increase and enhance five operational key capabilities: lethality, reliability, ergonomics, modularity and signature reduction.
From the evolution of Beretta’s military DNA, new product’s design has been inspired by functional genetics, to be a natural extension of users and offer a unique set of features to back and support Military and Law Enforcement forces who operate in complex, high threat environments.

NARP is a unique and modern platform, with ergonomics close to AR platforms but embodying battle proven action designed by Beretta, which pushes the boundaries of products performance. Thanks to its reduced weight of 3.3 kg (including empty magazine) and a total length under 90 cm, NARP fits any operator offering fully ambidextrous controls, a set of telescopic, foldable and collapsible stocks, and proprietary grips and buttstocks enabling efficient handling and quick and convenient transitions under all circumstances.
Modularity and versatility make NARP a weapon that can adapt to any action scenario, including the most challenging environments: chassis made of cutting-edge materials and dust cover ensure its excellent performance even in very cold or very hot temperatures and in muddy and dusty scenarios. Through complete control, NARP offers pinpoint accuracy at any distance, ensuring the certainty of hitting the target and completing the mission successfully.
Presented at DSEI in three variants in 5,56 NATO caliber, NARP will be the first step of a completely new portfolio of battle weapons, this including a new assault rifle fitted with a muzzle flash reducer system and an improved thermal signature reduction. Integrated with new Beretta made B-Silent sound suppressor, produced using additive manufacturing technology, the new rifle dramatically reduces soldiers’ signature thus increasing their survivability on the battlefield, masking soldiers from detection from sight and hearing.

Prague (December 18, 2023) ― Colt CZ Group SE (“Colt CZ”, the “Group” or the “Company”) hereby announces that on December 18, 2023, it executed an agreement with CBC Europe S.à r.l. (“CBC”) to purchase 100% interest in Sellier & Bellot a.s. (“Sellier & Bellot”).
Colt CZ shall acquire 100% of shares of Sellier & Bellot for the combination of the cash consideration in the amount of $350 million and a new issue of Colt CZ common stock leading to a 27–28% CBC’s stake in the share capital of Colt CZ Group post transaction. The final number of CBC shareholding in Colt CZ Group will be determined depending on the audited financial results of both companies for the year 2023. The acquisition will be financed through a combination of the Company’s existing cash resources and debt financing. The transaction is subject to regulatory approval in various countries and is expected to close in the first half of 2024.

Constructed of durable, virtually maintenance-free Kydex, the Triton™ 3.0 is fast on the draw, slender in profile, and easy to conceal!
A raised sweat guard protects the wearer’s body from the handgun, and the handgun from perspiration. The holster is cut low to accommodate most carry-style red dot sights. Included with the Triton is an optional, height-adjustable claw-type stabilizer for those gun carriers who prefer it.
The belt clips are adjustable for cant and suitable for strongside and crossdraw. The Triton 3.0’s improved appendix carry position offers the option of the 2.0’s previous ride height plus a lowered neutral cant position for gun carriers who prefer an even deeper ride.
The Triton 3.0 is supplied with two types of interchangeable tuckable clips. The first is the UniClip™, designed to go over the belt, but which also works well without a belt. WASHINGTON, D.C. — NSSF®, The Firearm Industry Trade Association, welcomes Andrew Graham, recently retired ATF Deputy Assistant Director, and expert in federal regulatory compliance, to its compliance consultants team.
Graham held a variety of positions within ATF in his 37 years of service. Since establishing Graham Industry Advisor, LLC., in January 2023, Andrew has been committed to upholding industry member firearm rights and compliance with the Gun Control Act and Safe Explosives Act. Andrew’s federal experience and tenure as a consultant includes operational aspects impacted by current ATF Rulings, Executive Orders, regulatory oversight to optimize regulatory compliance.
“We recognize our members’ desire to have a comprehensive team of experts available to assist them with their federal regulatory concerns, and I am confident that Andrew can help with this process,” said John McNamara, Managing Director, Member Services with NSSF. “In today’s fast-paced firearms market our members need to ensure they are always operating within the rules outlined in the Gun Control Act as even the slightest mistake can be costly. NSSF is committed to ensuring our members have the resources they need to not only follow these regulations but understand them and apply them to the real-world situations that occur within their businesses.”

NSSF’s Shooting, Hunting, Outdoor Trade Show (SHOT Show), will take place at the Venetian Expo in Las Vegas from Jan. 23-26, 2024. The Governors’ Forum, moderated by Keane, will host the annual Governors’ Forum at SHOT Show on Wednesday, Jan. 24, from 1-2 p.m. at Venetian Expo, Palazzo M (5th floor). NSSF is hosting governors to discuss the importance of the industry to their state, the legislative landscape and what can and should be done to protect the industry from gun control special interests threatening the firearm and ammunition industry and Second Amendment rights.
More governors may be added to the forum as schedules permit. The Governors’ Forum is open to all SHOT Show attendees and media. Those interested in attending should register here to save their spot.
Below is a list of previous announced moves to relocate firearm business headquarters and expand production to new states:
Alabama
· Kimber expanded production to Troy, over Yonkers, New York. It later relocated its corporate headquarters to Alabama.
Georgia
· Remington Firearms announced it will establish a global headquarters, research and development and expand production in La Grange. RemArms made their recent announcement that all Ilion, New York, manufacturing operations will move to La Grange as well.
· Taurus moved production to Bainbridge, Georgia, from South Florida in 2019.
Iowa
· Les Baer moved from restrictive Illinois to LeClaire, Iowa, in 2007.
· Lewis Machine & Tool Company (LMT) left Illinois after 40 years to relocate to Iowa in 2019.
Mississippi
· Olin Corporation’s Winchester Ammunition moved most production from East Alton, Illinois, to Oxford in 2011.
North Carolina
· Sturm, Ruger and Co. expanded production in Mayodan, North Carolina, in 2013.
Pennsylvania
· Kahr Arms moved their headquarters to Greely, Pennsylvania, from New York after the state rushed through passage of the SAFE Act. And pulling most of its manufacturing out of Worcester, Massachusetts.
South Carolina
· American Tactical Imports relocated 100 jobs and its manufacturing from Rochester, New York, to Summerville, South Carolina, in 2013.
· PTR Industries left Connecticut for Aynor, South Carolina in 2013, where it set up shop.
Tennessee
· Beretta moved firearm production and engineering and design to Gallatin, Tennessee, from Maryland in 2015 over concerns of increasingly strict gun control legislation.
· Smith & Wesson opened their new headquarters and manufacturing facility in Maryville, Tennessee in 2023.
Texas
· Mossberg expanded production in Eagle Pass, Texas, in 2013, instead of growing its North Haven, Connecticut, plant.
· Colt Competition moved from Canby, Oregon, to Breckenridge, Texas, in 2013.
Wyoming
· Magpul Industries left Boulder, Colorado, after the state passed magazine restrictions and moved production to Laramie, Wyoming.
· Weatherby Inc.’s Adam Weatherby announced at SHOT Show in 2018 that he was moving the company from California to Sheridan, Wyoming.
· Accessories maker HiViz announced in 2013 they were leaving Fort Collins, Colorado, over restrictive gun control legislation to Laramie, Wyoming.
· Stag Arms announced opened their facility in Cheyenne, Wyoming, after announcing in 2019 they were leaving their former headquarters in New Britain, Conn.

Virginia Beach, VA. and Boise, Idaho (January 2024) – Optimus Arms (OA) acquires Hexmag and Sentry Solutions from SENTRY Products Group forming HEXMAG USA, LLC. The new entity will manufacture and sell the entire line of HEXMAG brand products, including the Sentry Solutions dry lubricants which are well-established in the firearms and knife industries.
