Cooking Returns to Its Roots with the PrimalForge by TRUE

All the knives in this lineup are made with full tang construction and finished with an ergonomic, real Monzo wood handle that resists water. A hammer-forged texture is added to the upper sides of the blade, which not only adds an aesthetic flare but also functions by resisting stuck and difficult-to-remove foods.

Each knife comes with a durable and functional wax-treated canvas sheath. Its style harkens back to woodsman times when sheathes were handmade. A snap enclosure and PU leather strap quickly secure a knife in place.

TRUE PrimalForge Rocker Butcher—The Rocker Butcher is a complete butchering knife with a rounded blade. Rocking back and forth allows the user to cut quickly without large swings or excessive force. Perfect for meat and tenderizing, the Rocker Butcher ‘edges’ ahead. At 12.37 inches overall, the Rocker Butcher can take on nearly any meal size.

TRUE PrimalForge Chopper—When heavy cuts need to be made, nothing beats a chopper. The blade edge is nearly straight and makes up most of the 11.48-inch overall length. Well-weighted force can be applied to the motion of the Chopper to split food or break through harder elements seamlessly. It’s not the best option for thick bone but can handle nearly everything else.

TRUE PrimalForge Cleaver—Sectioning meat and cutting through bone requires something with girth and heft. The flat geometry of the edge makes the Cleaver a perfect option for sectioning game and reducing portion sizes that may contain bone or thicker flesh. It measures 12.69 inches overall and is the largest of the PrimalForge collection to date.

True PrimalForge Tanto Slicer—Finishing preparation requires a sharp blade and a steady hand. The Tanto Slicer solves half of these needs. At 12.17 inches, the blade is plenty long to handle nearly any meat or vegetable cut. Where the Rocker Butcher may not succeed, the Tanto Slicer can.

The Canvas Knife Roll puts all the knives in one place, ready for use. A durable weather-resistant wax coating prevents moisture from sneaking in and matches the coatings used on the standard sheaths. Keeping the design standard, a PU leather strap and snap closure keep the reinforced knife slots securely in place.
