Granbury, TX (August 6, 2024) – Combining the success of their B6 grips and Stinger Rough Series, Bond Arms brings their latest offering in the form of a little “B” with quite a sting – but not on someone’s firing hand.
The HoneyB .22 mag is the perfect single-action double-barrel gun for the discerning firearms enthusiast, packing a lot of power into a small, lightweight package that won’t break the bank when added to the gun cabinet, all while fitting perfectly into the palm. Chambered in .22 magnum, 22LR, 9mm, 380ACP, and 38 Special, the HoneyB sports a short 5.5” overall length and weighs a mere 17.5 oz.
The B6 Resin offsets the stainless steel Singer RS frame extended grips, giving less kick than experienced with other arms in the Stinger Rough Series and a more comfortable feel. With a 3” barrel and a 7 lb. trigger pull weight, the Honey B fills the hand naturally. Because of its design and materials, it absorbs much of the force generated during firing, spreading it evenly throughout the hand instead of just one pressure point.
Although the Honey B will be paired with its .22LR barrel, other barrels chambered for centerfire ammunition (9mm, .380 ACP, .38 Special) can also be used and are expected to perform properly.
Using the Stinger RS frame, the Honey B has the same quality as Bond Arms’ regular double-barrel handguns, but it has a slimmer profile and lighter weight. Its stainless steel design allows for a quality product at a lower cost than the aluminum construction of other firearms.
With its stainless steel frame, rebounding hammer, retracting firing pins, and cross-bolt safety, combined with the new B6 grips, the HoneyB .22 mag will be a joy to take to the range, practice in the backyard, or just have as part of any collection.

Hatsan’s Highly Customizable Competition PCP Rifle – Factor RC
Rogers, AR (August 5, 2024) – The Factor RC, offered by HatsanUSA, is a remarkably versatile PCP air rifle designed for competitive shooting. It comes in three different calibers (.177, .22, and .25) and offers extensive customization options, allowing shooters to precisely adjust and personalize it to suit their specific competition requirements and shooting preferences.
One of its notable features is its ability to accept commercially available pistol grips and buttstocks made for modern sporting rifles. The Factor RC boasts an ergonomic pistol grip covered in soft, durable rubber and textured to provide maximum grip and control. The 5-position telescoping buttstock also features an elevation adjustable cheek rest that can be moved in 5mm increments up to 40mm tall or removed for low-profile optics. Hatsan’s fully adjustable Quattro Trigger includes a trigger pad that can be moved vertically and rotated left or right for maximum precision and comfort.
The Factor RC’s power output is also highly adjustable, featuring an externally adjustable pressure regulator with an output pressure gauge. A power level knob on one side of the receiver controls the amount of air transferred into the barrel, while a hammer preload adjuster on the other side helps fine-tune the power output and cocking effort. The Factor RC features a removable 580cc carbon fiber air tank with a Foster-style quick-disconnect fill inlet. An integrated color-coded manometer allows the system pressure to be easily monitored at a glance.
The 23-inch-long precision rifled and choked barrel ensures accuracy, while Hatsan’s QuietEnergy technology and full-length barrel shroud reduce noise output. A standard ½” UNF threaded muzzle piece is included to allow a larger sound moderator or air stripper to be added without modifications. The Factor RC also comes with two high-capacity SwingLoad magazines that can be linked to facilitate faster mag changes. A single-shot tray is also included for precision loading. A picatinny rail is installed beneath the forearm, along with a combination optic system accepting picatinny, Weaver, and 11mm dovetail mounts.
All these features add a greater level of precision and consistency. The Factor RC can place over 100 shots on target from a single fill and comes in a package that weighs less than 8 lbs. For ultimate power, performance, customization, and competition, the Factor RC is the ideal choice.

NSSF Celebrates 5 Years of Over 1 Million Monthly Background Checks for Firearm Sales
WASHINGTON, D.C. — NSSF®, The Firearm Industry Trade Association, celebrates that July marks 60 consecutive months – or five years – of more than 1 million monthly NSSF-Adjusted FBI National Instant Criminal Background Check System (NICS) verifications for the sale of a firearm at retail. This milestone is demonstrative of Americans’ desire to lawfully exercise their Second Amendment rights to keep and bear arms for lawful purposes. The last time monthly background checks associated with the sale of a firearm at retail were below 1 million was July 2019, when 830, 579 background checks for firearm sales were recorded.
Since then, each month, the FBI’s National Instant Criminal Background Check System (NICS) has recorded over 1 million background checks associated with the sale of at least one firearm at retail. July 2024’s total was 1,06,790 – a 4 percent increase over the 1,023,903 background checks recorded in July 2023.
“This mile marker shows the enduring appeal by Americans from all walks of life to exercise their uniquely-American right to keep and bear arms,” said Joe Bartozzi, NSSF President and CEO. “These million-plus monthly background checks over the past five years represent the free expression of Second Amendment rights during tough and troubling times, including the COVID-19 pandemic when certain governors were shuttering gun stores and the Biden-Harris administration’s ‘zero-tolerance’ policy to revoke licenses to sell firearms. During this time, Americans who never previously considered lawful firearm ownership decided to become gun owners. We’re proud of our industry’s work to provide the means to exercise those rights to law-abiding citizens across the country.”
The five years of million-plus monthly background checks included record setting years for lawful firearm ownership. The month with the most background checks for firearm sales ever recorded was in March 2020, when 2.3 million background checks were completed. That year – 2020 – over 21 million background checks for the sale of a firearm had been completed by the year’s end. That shattered the previous annual record set in 2016 of 15.7 million completed background checks. During this five-year stretch of million-plus background checks each month, 86,410,889 FBI NICS background checks have been completed for the sale of at least one firearm at retail. NSSF is grateful for the diligence and ability of FBI NICS to meet the staggering demands year-over-year.
These figures are conservative. Actual retail sales of firearms are likely much higher. Twenty-four states currently have a qualified alternative permit, which under the Brady Act allows the permit-holder, who has undergone a background check to obtain the permit, to purchase a firearm from a licensed dealer without a separate additional background check for that transfer. The number of NICS checks in these states does not include these legal transfers based on qualifying permits and NSSF does not adjust for these transfers.
The adjusted NICS data were derived by subtracting out NICS purpose code permit checks and permit rechecks used by states for concealed carry permit application checks as well as checks on active concealed carry permit databases. NSSF started subtracting permit rechecks in February 2016.
Though not a direct correlation to firearms sales, the NSSF-adjusted NICS data provide an additional picture of current market conditions. In addition to other purposes, NICS is used to check transactions for sales or transfers of new or used firearms.
It should be noted that these statistics represent the number of firearm background checks initiated through the NICS. They do not represent the number of firearms sold or sales dollars. Multiple firearms may be purchased at the same time and at the same location with a single background check, as FBI NICS verifies that the purchaser is not prohibited from possessing a firearm, and not an actual check on the firearm itself. Based on varying state laws, local market conditions and purchase scenarios, a one-to-one correlation cannot be made between a firearm background check and a firearm sale.

Prague (January 3, 2024) ― Colt CZ Group SE (“Colt CZ”, the “Group” or the “Company”) hereby announces that it acquired intellectual property rights for the Mk 47 automatic grenade launcher from General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems (“GD-OTS” or “General Dynamics”).
Colt CZ Group, through its subsidiary Colt, has acquired ownership of the Mk 47 40mm Advanced Lightweight Grenade Launcher system, including the Fire Control, from General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems (GD-OTS). The Mk 47 is a reliable, portable 40mm grenade launcher suited for light infantry vehicles and tripod applications. This weapon system provides the warfighter with a decisive technological advantage over enemy forces equipped with older crew-served weapons.
“This acquisition expands Colt CZ Group’s offerings into the segment of larger and more sophisticated weapon systems and crew-served platforms. The acquisition of this highly capable weapon system is fully in line with our Group’s mission to provide innovative and high-quality products that our customers can rely on in any situation. Also, it will nicely complement the efforts our subsidiary swissAA has in the production of 40mm grenades,” said Jan Drahota, CEO and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Colt CZ Group.

The Mk 47 is a lightweight 40mm automatic grenade launcher with an integrated fire control system, capable of functioning as a standard automatic grenade launcher or programable airburst capability. The Mk 47 can be tripod, vehicle, air or watercraft mounted. The Mk 47 can launch smart programmable 40mm air burst grenades through in-bore or radio frequency (RF) programming in addition to various unguided point impact rounds. The Mk 47 fires all NATO standard high velocity 40mm rounds, providing firepower against soft and lightly armored targets.
