Grand Island, NE (December 18, 2024) – The Hornady Security® line of keypad safes provides quick and secure firearm access. The Fireproof Keypad Safe is a user-friendly safe to secure one or two handguns, ammo, and valuables when space is limited.
It is constructed from heavy-duty 16-gauge steel for the body and thicker 8-gauge for the door. The fireproof capabilities are best in class, capable of withstanding fires reaching temperatures of 1400°F for 30 minutes.
Four 1-inch diameter locking lugs safely secure the contents of the safe. The contents are accessible by a programmable touch keypad featuring illuminated keys. The QMAG is highly durable, passing all military drop tests, the mags can be fully loaded for years without fatiguing the springs and it is easy to load the top rounds unlike drum mags.
Every rifle also comes with a Magwell adapter reliably use standard 30 round magazines.
Designed with suppressor builds in mind, the 13.7-inch MLOK compatible handguard accommodates a variety of quick-attach suppressor mounts. Chamfered edges and a Type III Hardcoat anodized finish provide a smooth, ergonomic feel while maintaining durability. The handguard is crafted from lightweight yet durable 6061-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum, striking the perfect balance between strength and weight reduction. The Handguard attaches to the receiver using a two-piece wedge block mechanism, ensuring a rock-solid attachment with even pressure around the barrel nut.

Winchester Donates Ammunition to Support
NSSF’s First Shots Program
WASHINGTON, D.C. — NSSF®, The Firearm Industry Trade Association, is pleased to announce that Winchester has donated an additional 40,000 rounds of rimfire ammunition in support of NSSF’s First Shots® program. This year’s support brings Winchester’s total donation to more than 160,000 rounds of rimfire ammunition to the First Shots program over the past three years.
“We are hugely grateful to Winchester for its ongoing support of NSSF’s First Shots program,” said Zach Snow, NSSF Director, Member Development. “As with Winchester’s past donations of rimfire ammunition, this year’s will allow first-time and novice target shooters to gain experience in handling and using firearms safely. Americans in growing numbers are eager to learn about firearm ownership, and First Shots has been designed to assist them by providing education in the classroom and experience on the firing line.
Winchester is one of the premier manufacturers of ammunition in America and is a longtime supporter of First Shots and other NSSF programs such as National Shooting Sports Month® and Project ChildSafe®.
NSSF’s First Shots is an introductory and refresher program made available through host target-shooting ranges across the country. By providing educational experiences that are safe, fun and memorable, host ranges are having great success in attracting first-timers, further engaging new gun owners and in reactivating lapsed participants. Surveys show that more than 43 percent of First Shots participants are converted to target-shooting enthusiasts who individually spend on average more than $600 annually on their shooting sports endeavors.
“Growing the number of shooting sports participants and providing positive experiences are extremely important, and the NSSF First Shots program continues to engage new participants,” said Jason Gilbertson, Director of Marketing for Winchester Ammunition. “As an industry leader, Winchester is committed to the mission of the program and its success.”

Buck Commander has changed the way hunters maintain accurate yardage without losing sight of their trophy. This state-of-the-art scope is designed to redefine precision in crossbow hunting, offering hunters an unparalleled advantage in acquiring ranges quickly and accurately.
Buck Commander’s BUK OPS X-Factor scope eliminates the need for a separate rangefinder, providing hunters with convenience and efficiency. Unlike traditional methods, hunters can now obtain the yardage of a deer without the hassle of lowering or resetting the position of their crossbow. The X-Factor features a built-in angle-compensating laser rangefinder that is activated instantly with a simple press of a button. Holding the range button down enables Scan Mode, which actively tracks the range of a target as it is on the move. Whether navigating hilly terrain or taking a shot from an elevated position, the X-Factor adapts seamlessly to the environment.
The X-Factor ensures consistent aiming points and precision with every shot. Knowing the range is half the battle; dialing it in and shooting accurately is the other. With the X-Factor Speed Dial feet per second (FPS) precision reticle, hunters can fine-tune their optic to match the arrow speed of their crossbow with a simple turn of a dial. Set the 20-yard zero at the top of the crosshair, adjust the arrow speed with the Speed Dial, and the reticle will be accurately set all the way to 100 yards.

This bolt-action rifle from J.P. Sauer and Sohn is an engineering masterpiece, delivering timeless elegance, absolute accuracy, and exceptional versatility. It is available in four stock options – walnut (wood grade 5), traditional synthetic, synthetic thumbhole, or carbon fiber – and features a robust, lightweight skelatonized steel chassis. Bolt cycling is silky smooth, and the interchangeable, cold hammer forged precision barrels allow for quick and easy caliber changes. Hunters can select between four pre-set trigger weights from 0.77 lbs. to up to 2.75 lbs.
The ergonomically perfected manual cocking system is safe, lightweight, quiet, and easy on the thumb. Once ready to shoot, simply apply slight pressure with your thumb to cock the rifle. Uncocking and unloading in the uncocked position is just as easy.

POLAND TO ACQUIRE THREE MQ-9B SKYGUARDIANS® FROM GA-ASI
SAN DIEGO – 16 December 2024 – General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, Inc. (GA-ASI) announces the sale of three MQ-9B SkyGuardian® Remotely Piloted Aircraft (RPA) systems to the Polish Ministry of Defence. The MQ-9B is the newest model of RPA produced by GA-ASI, and will serve as the foundational intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) platform for Poland. The sale to Poland also includes two Certifiable Ground Control Stations (CGCS) and three years of GA-ASI’s SkyGuardian Global Support Solutions.
MQ-9B delivers exceptionally long endurance and range, with auto takeoff and landing under SATCOM-only control, and will be able to operate in unsegregated airspace using the GA-ASI-developed Detect and Avoid system.
“The purchase of MQ-9B SkyGuardian will deliver persistent multi-domain situational awareness, which is vital to Poland,” said GA-ASI President David R. Alexander. “SkyGuardian is a critical security tool and GA-ASI is proud to continue to build on its strong partnership with Poland.”
In 2022, Poland began operating MQ-9A Reapers as part of a lease agreement with GA-ASI. The success of those missions opened the door for the purchase of the MQ-9B aircraft.
The Polish National Defense Ministry said: “In the presence of Deputy Prime Minister Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz, a contract was concluded for the supply of MQ-9B SkyGuardian unmanned reconnaissance systems, which will increase the capabilities of the Polish Armed Forces in the field of ISR.”
First customer deliveries of MQ-9B began in 2022 to the U.K. Royal Air Force. Contracts have also been signed with Belgium, Canada, the Japan Coast Guard, the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force, Taiwan, India, and the U.S. Air Force in support of Special Operations Command. MQ-9B has additionally supported various U.S. Navy exercises this year, including Northern Edge, Integrated Battle Problem, and Group Sail.
