has donated serial number 1 of all three models in its America’s 250th Anniversary Tribute Edition collection to benefit Gun Owners of America (GOA). The donation is made through the company’s charitable program, Guns For Great Causes, and 100% of the winning bid goes to Gun Owners Foundation, the GOA nonprofit that funds and litigates the organization’s court cases. The three rifles, along with 5,400 rounds of commemorative ammunition donated by The Kinetic Group, sell as a single lot on GunBroker.com (item #1202022622).
Bidding opens at $3,999 and closes Sunday, September 20 at 8:00 PM CT. These have never been offered before as a complete set at any price.
The lot includes the H001TL-250 rifle in .22 S/L/LR, the H001Y-250 Youth Model in .22 S/L/LR, and the H010BG-250 rifle in .45-70 Gov’t. Each carries serial number 1, making the set the first example of every model in the collection.
The ammunition from The Kinetic Group includes two cases of Federal Henry Birthday Boy .45-70 Gov’t, 400 rounds in total, and two cases of 250th Anniversary Edition Champion .22 LR, 5,000 rounds in total.
The collection was introduced in 2026 to mark the 250th anniversary of American independence. All three models share a waving American flag applied in full-color red, white, and blue Cerakote, Fancy-grade American walnut hand-selected for grain and figure, a polished nickel buttplate, and a 250 anniversary logo engraved and silver-filled into the corner of the buttstock.

The three rifles are new and unfired in original factory packaging and will not be sold separately. As with any firearm transaction, delivery is made through the winning bidder’s licensed federal firearms dealer, and the buyer is responsible for confirming legality in their jurisdiction.

A rifle can print a tight cluster at 100 yards and still precisely impact a distant target when the velocity differs from the number on the ammo box by 50 to 100 feet per second or more, since advertised figures come from a test barrel of a specific length and don’t account for an individual rifle’s barrel length, barrel condition, or the day’s temperature. At 100 yards, that gap is invisible on paper. Stretch the same shot to 400 or 600 yards, the ranges where many backcountry elk and mule deer opportunities present themselves, and a ballistic calculator running on an assumed velocity instead of a chronographed one can be off by several inches of drop at the closer distance and well over a foot at the longer one, even from a rifle that is grouping perfectly.
That is precisely the gap the Rangecraft Velocity PRO is built to close, and where the latest Athlon Ballistics App updates add the most value. Instead of estimating, hunters can chronograph their actual load and get true muzzle velocity along with shot-to-shot consistency in the form of standard deviation and extreme spread, the exact inputs a ballistic app needs to build an accurate drop chart for the ammunition they are actually carrying into the field rather than a manufacturer’s average. With the new app enhancements, that data is easier than ever to capture and put to use during load development, well before the season opens.
One of the most notable additions is a live view feature, which allows velocity data to be displayed simultaneously on both the chronograph and a connected mobile device. Third Circuit Allows NSSF Challenge to N.J.’s ‘Reasonable Controls’ Law
WASHINGTON, D.C. — NSSF®, The Firearm Industry Trade Association, applauds the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit’s decision in NSSF v. Attorney General New Jersey, holding that NSSF has standing to challenge New Jersey’s “reasonable controls” law (A1765) and reversing a lower court’s decision that it was required to abstain from ruling on the merits of NSSF’s lawsuit because the New Jersey attorney general brought an enforcement action against one of its 10,000 members.
A previous challenge to the law by NSSF was dismissed for lack of standing because the law had yet to be enforced against a member company, making the lawsuit premature. This time, a lower court held that it could not reach the merits of the case by invoking the Younger Abstention Doctrine, a legal rule that cautions federal courts from interfering with ongoing state court proceedings because the New Jersey attorney general was enforcing the law. That effectively barred NSSF from the courthouse doors for being too late. The Third Circuit rejected New Jersey’s argument.
“New Jersey’s proposed rule would create a Catch-22,” the Third Circuit decision reads. “If the association sued before the enforcement action against one of its members, it would be dismissed for lack of standing, like in NSSF I. If it sued after the enforcement action, it would be dismissed under Younger. Because NSSF, and its members, are ‘entitled to [their] own day in court,’ we reject New Jersey’s proposed rule.”
“This is a tremendous legal hurdle that has been cleared to permit our challenge to be heard in court. This law clearly violates the bipartisan Protection of Lawful Commerce in Arms Act and is unconstitutional in many respects,” explained Lawrence G. Keane, NSSF Senior Vice President & General Counsel. “The challenge to this law has been tortured and the previous frustrations to demonstrate that this state law attempts to circumvent federal law can now move forward. We are confident that New Jersey’s naked attempt to undermine the will of Congress and bankrupt firearm manufacturers and sellers through frivolous lawsuits will not stand legal review.”
NSSF filed an amended complaint in February 2025 against New Jersey’s anti-Protection of Lawful Commerce in Arms Act (PLCAA) law that is not consistent with the U.S. Constitution. NSSF filed a motion to reopen the case and for leave to file an amended complaint. The motion and amended complaint were filed after New Jersey’s attorney general brought lawsuits against several industry members, including GLOCK, Inc. The state alleged the company is responsible for the criminal misuse of firearms when criminals modify and alter well-designed and lawfully-sold GLOCK pistols by illegally obtaining, possessing and installing a machinegun conversion device (MCD) on the handgun.
NSSF previously sued to block New Jersey’s law from taking effect and initially obtained a preliminary injunction barring the state from enforcing the law against NSSF members, but that challenge was dismissed on appeal when a prior three-judge panel for the Third Circuit determined that NSSF lacked standing at the time to challenge the law because it had not yet been enforced. New Jersey’s attorney general disavowed to the appellate court that it had any intention of suing firearm manufacturers for engaging in lawful commerce or placing liability on firearm manufacturers for the criminal misconduct of third parties beyond their control. They promised to only sue for a company’s own misconduct.
That was demonstrably false.
NSSF’s amended complaint argues that New Jersey’s public nuisance law flouts the will of Congress because it is preempted by the bipartisan PLCAA. Additionally, it violates the First Amendment, Second Amendment, 14th Amendment Due Process Clause and the Commerce Clause.
Keane said, “NSSF looks forward to finally having its day in Court. Attorney General Jennifer Davenport’s lawsuits against GLOCK and SIG SAUER and other industry members under the state’s ‘reasonable control’ law are the very definition of ‘lawfare.’ The statute should be struck down as unconstitutional.”

ITALY ORDERS TWO MORE MQ-9A BLOCK 5 REAPERS®
Additional Remotely Piloted Aircraft Grows Italian Air Force Fleet of MQ-9A
SAN DIEGO – 08 September 2026 – The Italian Air Force (ItAF) has ordered two new MQ-9A Block 5 Reaper® Remotely Piloted Aircraft (RPA) from General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, Inc. (GA-ASI). When the new aircraft are delivered at the end of 2027, they will increase the size of the ItAF fleet. The purchase is part of a Foreign Military Sale (FMS) with the U.S. Air Force that also includes Ground Control Stations.
“Italy has been a very important partner for GA-ASI for more than 20 years,” said GA-ASI President David R. Alexander. “The Italian Air Force has continued to be a leader in the utilization of MQ-9A to support a wide range of Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) missions in Italy, over the Mediterranean, and in support of NATO operations.”
MQ-9A Block 5 has endurance of up to 26 hours and can operate up to 45,000 feet (13,716 meters). It has a 4,600 pounds (2,087 kilogram) of payload capacity that includes 3,750 pounds (1,701 kilograms) of external stores. It provides long-endurance, persistent surveillance capability with Full-Motion Video, Synthetic Aperture Radar/Moving Target Indicator/Maritime Radar, and auto takeoff and landing. An extremely reliable RPA, MQ-9A Block 5 is equipped with a fault-tolerant flight control system and a triple-redundant avionics system architecture. It is engineered to meet and exceed manned aircraft reliability standards.

Washington, D.C. — NSSF®, The Firearm Industry Trade Association, encourages firearm industry organizations and the gun-owning community to participate in Gun Storage Check Week® as it reaches the midpoint of its second semi-annual observance. Held at the beginning of National Suicide Prevention Month (Sept. 1–7), Gun Storage Check Week reminds firearm owners to take a moment and review their storage practices to “Make Sure It’s Secure®.”
“Whether you’re a range operator, manufacturer, law enforcement agency, veteran or individual gun owner, there’s still plenty of time to take part in Gun Storage Check Week and ‘Make Sure It’s Secure,’” said Joe Bartozzi, NSSF President and CEO. “We invite you to engage with this safety message — examine your secure storage practices when your firearm is not in use and share Gun Storage Check Week resources with your community.
