Drone Safety Day is Saturday, April 25

Drone Safety Day is almost here, and we want you to participate!
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) invites the drone community to be a part of its annual Drone Safety Day on Saturday, April 25. Whether you’re a seasoned drone pilot or just getting started, this is your opportunity to connect with drone enthusiasts, share safety tips, and have fun!
This year, we are encouraging pilots to Fly Safe, Fly Smart, and Fly Ready by understanding the rules, preparing before takeoff and making safety the top priority every time they fly.
Here are some ways you can participate:
-
Host your own event in-person or virtually
-
Join a local event in your community
-
Create and share online content
-
Share important safety tips
Since launching this campaign in 2019, the FAA has worked with expert drone pilots, passionate educators, industry leaders, and community groups all over the country to highlight the importance of flying drones safely and responsibly. Together, we’re shaping safer skies for the future of aviation.
