New for 2026: Expanded Capability and Shared Architecture, Holosun Introduces the AEMS-EVO and AEMS-EVO DUAL

City of Industry, CA (January 13, 2026) – The AEMS platform has earned its place as one of Holosun’s most versatile compact rifle-optic systems, delivering full-size visual performance in a streamlined footprint. For 2026, Holosun advances that design philosophy with two new models, the AEMS-EVO and the AEMS-EVO DUAL, each engineered to meet distinct real-world shooting demands while sharing a common emphasis on clarity, durability, and intelligent adaptability.

Both optics feature an expanded 1.26 × 0.98-inch viewing window, providing enhanced situational awareness and faster reticle acquisition under recoil, during movement, or when shooting from unconventional positions. A forward-facing light sensor supports this visual upgrade by adjusting reticle brightness based on the target environment rather than ambient lighting at the shooter’s position, providing an advantage when transitioning between interior, exterior, or mixed-light conditions.

Built on rugged 7075-T6 aluminum housings with IPX8 waterproof ratings and 1000G vibration resistance, the AEMS-EVO series maintains zero through extended round counts, field use, and harsh environments. Both models utilize Holosun’s Multi-Reticle System™ (2 MOA dot, 65 MOA circle, or circle-dot) and incorporate Solar Failsafe™, Shake Awake™, and memory functionality for predictable and efficient operation across long service cycles.

Designed for shooters seeking the visual stability of a full-size optic in a compact footprint, the AEMS-EVO focuses on maximizing optical performance without increasing mass or complexity. Its refined chassis preserves the familiar AEMS profile while improving handling and ergonomics, maintaining a lower-third co-witness height on the included mount and remaining compatible with carbines, PCCs, and defensive rifles where sight height and weight are critical.

A side-loading CR2032 battery delivers up to 50,000 hours of runtime at mid-brightness settings, supported by Holosun power-management technology to ensure consistent readiness whether the optic is in daily use or staged for defensive deployment. The AEMS-EVO performs effectively as a standalone red dot or when paired with a magnifier, providing a bright, unified sight picture suited to rapid target transitions and mixed-distance engagements.

The AEMS-EVO is available in Red, Green, or Gold reticle options, allowing shooters to select a reticle presentation that suits their preference or environmental conditions.

The AEMS-EVO DUAL builds upon the EVO architecture by incorporating fully integrated visible green and infrared lasers, creating a unified aiming platform that supports daylight sighting, transitional environments, and night-vision applications without the need for external attachments or additional rail-mounted devices.

Shooters can transition between the 2 MOA and 65 MOA circle-dot reticles, as well as the visible or IR laser, depending on conditions, while maintaining consistent alignment across all sighting methods. The integrated system reduces bulk, eliminates secondary mounting tolerances, and minimizes shifts that can occur with separate laser units under recoil.

Powered by a side-loading CR123A battery, the AEMS-EVO DUAL delivers extended runtime across both the optic and laser systems while retaining the compact footprint that defines the AEMS family. The result is a durable, streamlined solution intended for use in day, low-light, and night-vision environments where capability must expand without complicating the rifle system.

Together, the AEMS-EVO and AEMS-EVO DUAL represent a natural evolution of the AEMS platform, combining a larger, more intuitive viewing window with intelligent brightness behavior driven by target lighting. The system is built on rugged construction suitable for duty, defensive, and field use, and incorporates power systems engineered for predictable, long-term operation.

As additions to Holosun’s 2026 lineup, the AEMS-EVO and AEMS-EVO DUAL extend the performance envelope of compact rifle optics while preserving the core characteristics that define the AEMS series. The AEMS-EVO delivers enhanced window size, refined handling, and thoughtful brightness response for lightweight red dot applications. The AEMS-EVO DUAL, on the other hand, introduces integrated visible and IR laser capability for environments that require seamless transitions between daylight and night-vision aiming solutions.

Together, these models reinforce the AEMS platform as a modern, adaptable sighting architecture engineered for reliability, consistency, and practical application across a wide range of rifle configurations and operational conditions.
