When choosing material for the FORM Belt, Blue Force Gear combined their ULTRAcomp fabric facing high-performance laminate with NASA’s Thermoplastic Composite Core material for CCW structural stability. When NASA started Thermoplastic Composite Core research (ending 2025-01-29), the material goal aligned with BFG’s: “Composite materials enable NASA’s science and exploration missions where lightweight, high-performance structural solutions are required.” – CTE – Thermoplastics Development for Exploration (CTE-TDEA). The results and use of premium material & technology are what set this product apart from all others out there.
