All proceeds from the sale of Vortex^® Poppy Short Sleeve T Shirts will support one of Vortex’s neighbor’s: The Stoughton VFW in Stoughton, WI. Through the 2024 winner of the ‘Spirit of Service’ award, Rob Drogsvold, the Stoughton VFW was also the recent recipient of $5,000 from Vortex^® and News 3 Now.
“Receiving the Spirit of Service (SOS) award from Vortex has given me the opportunity to showcase the VFW and the Veteran community,” Drogsvold said. “Winning SOS allowed us to kick off our new addition, and now we have a lasting friendship with Vortex that I am truly grateful for.”
Spirit of Service™ rewards the selflessness and dedication so typical of our veterans by awarding $5,000 to a cause of the winner’s choosing. Each year, hundreds of Wisconsinites nominate a local veteran. The list of nominees is then pared down and voted on by viewers to determine a winner.
