ARES Watch Co. Announces Series of Officially Licensed SIG SAUER® Mission Timers

March 10, 2025 – Stanwood, WA – ARES Watch Co. manufacturer of American operational Mission Timers, and SIG SAUER®, the leading provider of small arms to the U.S. military, have teamed up to design a series precision timepieces commemorating the M17 and M18 pistol – the pistol of choice of all branches of the U.S. military. 

The M17-DIVER-1 (SIG M-17) is the first series release and available at ARESWatches.com; these limited-edition timepieces are based on the popular ARES DIVER model and honor the M17 Modular Handgun System pistol in service with all branches of the U.S. military.  The timepiece features 316L stainless case components, 715Li Ronda movement, and a C3 Super LumiNova dial tested to 1250 meters and guaranteed for life.

The M18-FIELD-1 (SIG M-18) is the second series release and now available at ARESWatches.com; these limited-edition timepieces are based on the popular ARES FIELD model and honor the M18 Modular Handgun System pistol in service with all branches of the U.S. military.  The timepiece is manufactured with a precision 5-jewel Ronda 715 Lithium-Ion Swiss movement, with a case and case back machined in-house from a solid bar of 316L stainless steel finished in M-18 CERAKOTE, a domed sapphire crystal with an inner anti-reflective AR coating, and brass dial with Super LumiNova C3 printed hour indicators, painted minute indices and logo.

The M17-DIVER-1 and M18-FIELD-1 are now available at ARESWatches.com and are presented in a hand painted, hand stamped and individually serialized “grenade can” containing a custom sewn VS-17A watch roll with two document pockets, and integrated strap tool slot.
