Detroit Gun Works seasons its barrels and tests all of its rifle prior to shipment.
Seasoning a rifle barrel helps smooth out any microscopic imperfections left from the manufacturing process, essentially polishing the bore by firing a small number of rounds and cleaning between each shot to improve accuracy, consistency and minimize copper fouling.
