AUSA 2024: Rafael Showcasing Enhanced TROPHY APS Defense Capabilities
October 8, 2024 – Rafael Advanced Defense Systems Ltd. will be showcasing its latest defense capabilities at AUSA 2024, which will take place from October 14-16 in Washington D.C. As part of its display, RAFAEL will introduce unique modular Counter-Unmanned Aerial Systems (C-UAS) capabilities, combining advanced detection and interception technologies. This includes the Lite Beam laser-based interception system and the Samson 30mm Remote Weapon Station (RWS), on a 4-wheeled platform. These solutions provide maneuvering forces with robust force protection and flexibility against a wide range of airborne threats, including UAVs.
RAFAEL’s comprehensive C-UAS capabilities are designed to protect ground forces in dynamic operational environments, ensuring increased survivability and mission success. The advanced sensor and defense technologies featured in this system offer a multi-layered approach to counter evolving threats.
As part of the broader defense offering at AUSA, RAFAEL will also highlight the enhanced capabilities of its TROPHY Active Protection System (APS), which has been proven effective against a range of modern threats. The system has successfully neutralized airborne targets such as anti-tank guided missiles (ATGMs), rocket-propelled grenades (RPGs), and UAVs, thus enhancing the survivability of armored vehicles. Additionally, TROPHY has demonstrated the capability to neutralize aerial threats such as drones and UAVs, providing comprehensive protection for platforms against both ground and air threats.
