Brand new US Made Gen 3 image intensifiers are expensive so in order to bring the cost down to a much more affordable price for the average retail customer, the NG/PVS-14-GP utilizes US Made Gen 3 image intensifiers with slightly used photocathodes that have been re-potted and professionally rebuilt using brand new autogated power supplies in MX-11769 manual gain control format. The photocathodes originate from either L3Harris or Elbit Systems of America image intensifiers. The performance of these tubes is comparable to currently available Mil-Spec green phosphor image intensifiers. They have good cosmetics with no spots in the zone 1 and zone 2 regions. Some tubes may have peppering. The PVS-14 housing and optics are Mil-Spec manufactured by Noctis Industries (formerly Carson Industries). The NG/PVS-14-GP are built in-house by TNVC and carry a 2 Year Warranty on the image intensifier, Lifetime Limited Warranty on the housing & optics, and includes the standard Night Goggles 14-day return or exchange if you are not happy with them!
