Aloft Release Notes: Enhanced Logging & Performance Updates for iOS, Android, and Anzu

We’re excited to announce the latest updates to the Aloft mobile app, designed to enhance your flight logging, records management, and overall experience. Please see the updates for iOS and Android/Anzu below.

Note, all of the new mobile features listed below continue to be available and centrally managed at the Air Control web platform (https://air.aloft.ai/) for customized tagging, reporting, and team management with complete roles and permissions.

iOS Updates:

With this release, we’re putting more control and flexibility into your hands for managing logs and records. The updates include:

– Full Archive Access: A complete archive of LAANC, flight, maintenance, and incident logs, giving you better visibility into all of your operations.

– Event Logging: You can now log maintenance and incident events directly from the mobile app, ensuring all key details are captured in real-time.

These enhancements are aimed at making it easier to track your operations and maintain compliance right from the mobile app for whenever you need it.

Android / Anzu Updates:

On the Android and Anzu side, we’ve made several key updates to improve your flying experience:

– Flight Controller Updates: Enhancements to improve stability and flight performance, especially while taking pictures and related settings.

– Streaming Upgrades: Better video streaming capabilities for real-time situational awareness, including streaming the HUD view or camera only, as well as side-by-side thermal streaming views.

– Automated Flight Planning: Improvements to flight planning automation for smoother and more efficient operations, including selecting of multiple flights and resuming flight plans.

– Performance Updates: Various performance and stability improvements to ensure a smoother experience across the app, with updates to media manager and additional bug fixes and improvements.
