Vortex Optics introduced the Venom 1-6×24 SFP riflescope with a goal of bringing to market a high performance entry-level tactical optic for carbines, at a palatable price point. If this is your maiden voyage into LPVO optics for your rifle, there are just two or three entry level offerings worthy of your consideration. The Vortex Venon 1-6×24 SFP is at the top of my list. It’s moderately priced but delivers comparable performance to some of the higher priced scopes.
