In June of 2023, Texas based XS Sights introduced the R3D 2.0. Their mission was to build on the already successful R3D with an easier to install rear sight for the DIY market and improved visibility. The initial offering was GLOCK and Smith & Wesson centric, but this October, the company expanded the R3D 2.0 line to other popular platforms like SIG SAUER, FN and HK. In this review, I share my view on how the HK VP9 can be enhanced with an XS sight upgrade.
